Pokemon! In a previous post, I theorized that Ho-Oh, Lugia, & Rayquaza worked together to create 3 trios: the Kanto Birds, the Johto Beasts, & the Unova... Genies? Ho-Oh having more influence in the creation of Moltres, Entei, & Landorus. Lugia having more influence in the creation of Zapdos, Raikou, & Thundurus. Rayquaza having more influence in the creation of Articuno, Suicune, & Tornadus. Moltres especially being the heir of Ho-Oh’s life power (Ho-Oh itself being the heir to the life power of Xerneas, who I believe created Ho-Oh with help from Solgaleo & Lunala), as Moltres represents Spring (not Summer) the season of new life after the cold dead Winter, and both Ho-Oh & Moltres are Phoenix (a bird of myth well known for rising to new life from the ashes of its fiery death). These Galarian forms are different. the physical/atmospheric weather & natural themes are gone, replaced with emotional/mental/spiritual weather & supernatural themes. I also made a previous post about Yveltal creating/corrupting “evil” Legendary Pokemon. I think that’s what happened here. seeing that Xerneas created Ho-Oh as its heir, & Ho-Oh created Moltres as its heir... the Legendary Bird of Death was jealous that there were 2 Legendary Birds of Life, so it created 3 birds similar to the 3 birds that Ho-Oh (& Lugia & Rayquaza) created... similar in physical appearance, but twisted in Yveltal’s own Dark & Destructive image.

Zelda theory time! We know the Kokiri became the Koroks between OoT & TWW. Obviously NOT a slow genetic biological evolution from fauna to flora, but instead a magical transformation. Also, not all Kokiri changed! Fado the Wind Sage remained a Kokiri when the Kokiri changed into Koroks. So this is my theory. The Kikwi followed Oolo up to Skyloft after the events of SS. The Kikwi became the Picori. The prologue of TMC says the Picori “appeared from the sky” This means the Minish World/Realm is so named because it is where the Minish went to after the events of the Hero Of Men, rather than being the place where the Minish came from (because they actually came from the sky first). So the Kikwi move to the Sky, become Picori, then move back down to the surface. The Picori in the forest become Kokiri between the events of TMC & OoT. However, how does this happen? Do they all change at once? Do they have individual choice whether to change? Farore, the Oracle of Secrets, is found in Castle Town in TMC. I believe her to be Kokiri, perhaps the first Picori to change into Kokiri. Timeline split. Adult timeline. of course TWW, Kokiri into Koroks. I’m not sure we see this race in ST. I suppose it’s possible that they became the Lokomo, but I personally believe the Lokomo to be Sheikah (magic technology like SS & BotW). I think the Koroks are still helping the Deku Tree(s) raise Old Hyrule and/or drain the Great Sea, which is obviously South of New Hyrule. Child timeline. TP. we saw Farore in Castle Town in TMC. we see Agitha in Castle Town in TP. both part of a trio. Farore is Kokiri. Din is Gerudo. Nayru plays the Harp of Ages, which is the same color as Timeshift stone & indeed its main function is time travel. The Sheikah symbol is on Timeshift stone in SS. Sheikah Tech in BotW is Timeshift stone color, & the Stasis rune freezes something in time. I believe Nayru the Oracle of Ages to be Sheikah. Agitha, Telma, & Fanadi. Fanadi is obviously Sheikah. Telma is Gerudo, she even has a Gerudo symbol on her apron/dress. Agitha is Kokiri. Child in appearance with strange adult maturity. Forest theme in her “castle” with living flora all over. These 3 each have 3 dots around their eyes. Red for Gerudo. Blue/Purple for Sheikah. Green for Kokiri. So Agitha is Kokiri in TP. But where are the rest? There’s a theory about the monkeys, but it’s far more likely that they are related to the Terminian monkeys in MM (same timeline split). The Picori came from the sky. The forest Minish have a feather. Are they wearing the feather or are they growing the feather? Fado & Makar are Wind Sages. Vaati is a wind mage. Saria was going to be Wind Sage before they changed her to Forest Sage. Strong connection between Forest & Wind elements. I think the Kokiri returned to the sky between OoT & TP. As the Oocca. so... here’s the thing... the Loftwings also lived in the sky... there’s a chance that the Kikwi & Loftwings were magically joined into 1 Picori race... which would strengthen the Forest/Wind interchangeability & the feathers of the Picori & the Oocca. But there’s an equal (if not greater) chance that the Loftwings are not connected... and I kinda prefer the idea that the Helmaroc King in TWW & 4SA is related to the Loftwings. but anyway, digress and all that. 4SA. Vaati was Picori. the only other characters I can think of that have any chance of being this race are the Maidens. Perhaps the Green Maiden, but I have another theory about her being Hylian & descended from (or just related to) Auru from TP and/or Rauru from OoT. I believe White to be the 4SA generation of Impa/Impaz, Yellow to be descended from/related to Fanadi from TP, Blue to be descended from/related to Renado & Luda from TP, Red to be descended from/related to Telma from TP, & Purple to be descended from/related to Ashei from TP. there’s also the Zuna, but there has been pretty much no desert connection with any of the other races in this theory. & I have a theory about the Zuna being descendants of some Twili that moved from the Twilight Realm to live in Hyrule’s desert. Downfall timeline! ALttP. There’s the Lumberjacks: A. Bumpkin, B. Bumpkin, & Q. Bumpkin. They are dressed like Kokiri, however they are cutting down trees... which seems like not a Kokiri thing to do. There’s also the dwarven swordsmiths. Dwarven as in short, like the Kikwi, Minish, Kokiri, Koroks, & Oocca. Swordsmiths as in the Kikwi forged the Slingshot, the Picori forged the Picori Blade, the Kokiri forged the Kokiri Sword, the Oocca forged the Dominion Rod, & the Koroks forged the Forest Dweller’s Sword in BotW. They also remarkably resemble the Mountain Minish. also, the 1 found in the Dark World is found in a frog-like form... frogs being consistently connected to the Wind element (Zephos, Cyclos, Cylos)... and the Kokiri & Korok Sages being Wind Sages. Of course... if Farore can be a Kokiri while there are Picori Minish... and if Fado can be a Kokiri while there are Koroks... and if Agitha can be Kokiri while there are Oocca... then it is possible that both the Lumberjacks & the Dwarven Swordsmiths are Kokiri. but it’s also possible that neither of them are Kokiri. Farore is in the Oracle games. I think it’s very possible this race in any form are the elves of Hyrule, as in ageless & immortal (but not invincible or unkillable!)... so I think it is possible (even probable) that Farore the Oracle of Secrets is the same in TMC as she is in the Oracle games, as opposed to an ancestor/descendant situation. She lives in the Maku Trees, which talk like Deku Trees. Seems pretty Kokiri. In the Oracle games, we come across the talking birds in a house known as the Know-It-All birds... just like the Kokiri Brothers in OoT... & the birds do not appear to have an owner... could be this race in an Oocca-like form in the Oracle games. Under Holodrum live the Subrosians in Subrosia. and here we get to another thing... in SS, Guld the Mogma also lived in the sky at the end... & we never see the Mogma again. Perhaps the Kikwi joined Oolo and the Mogma joined Guld. There is a chance the Mogma & Kikwi magically merged into one Picori race. the Picori themselves have very similar body types to the Mogma. Mole-like snout-ish face, 4 mole-ish fingers. Mountain Minish live underground on a volcanic mountain. if the Kikwi, Mogma, & Loftwings all merged into 1 Picori race... then when they return to the surface... the Picori more like their Mogma ancestors could have felt drawn to the mountain... the Picori more like their Kikwi ancestors could have felt drawn to the forest... & the Picori more like their Loftwing ancestors could have felt drawn to the Hylians in Castle Town. Perhaps after TMC... the Town Minish return to the sky as Oocca that show up in TP & as the Know-It-All birds in the Oracle games... the Forest Minish turn into Kokiri... & the Mountain Minish move to Subrosia & become the Subrosians. ALBW. just a few options. I believe Agitha to be Kokiri in TP. the bee guy is similarly obsessed with bees as Agitha is with bugs. so he could be Kokiri. and in Hyrule there is 1 Dwarven Swordsmith instead of 2, but for all the same reasons as the 2 in ALttP, he could be Kokiri. there is also a dwarven swordsmith in Lorule... but if Lorule is Termina, then the Lorule Dwarven Swordsmith is more likely related to Zubora (who I believe to be Sheikah). the 1st Zelda game has no characters & is in desperate need of a remake that really fleshes it out. TAoL. in the Great Palace are bird-like “enemies” that are only “enemies” because they protect the Triforce of Courage because they serve the King of Hyrule. could be this game’s version of Rito. could be this game’s version of Oocca. the Fokka have arms & they wield swords & shields. the Fokkeru are more bird-ish than humanoid. perhaps the Fokka are Rito. perhaps the Fokkeru are Oocca. last but not least BotW. Koroks, obviously. however... I believe adult Hylians become Stalfos when they get lost in the Lost Woods... child Hylians become Stalchildren when they get lost in the Lost Woods... & Kokiri become Skull Kids when they get lost in the Lost Woods without their Fairy partner... keeping their soul & personhood (unlike the Stals) when the Forest Curse turns them undead, because when they were not undead they were immortal. So what happens when a Korok gets lost? Blupees. Picori Minish supposedly made and/or hid rupees in the grass. they become Kokiri. they become Koroks. they get lost & become Blupees, which make rupees when shot with an arrow. also, the Blupees gather around Satori, the Lord of the Mountain, who very much resembles Ordona from TP, Light Spirit of a forest province very close to where the Kokiri & Deku Tree lived in OoT. Blupees gather around Satori very similarly to how Kokiri/Koroks gather around Deku Trees. I’ve got this big theory that the whole Zeldaverse is much MUCH smaller than most fans think it is. and this idea that the Kikwi, Picori, Kokiri, Koroks, & Oocca are all 1 race in 5 forms instead of 5 separate races is just a small piece of that mega-theory. but it is just that... a theory...

The Swords of Justice! Arceus made Xerneas of Life, Dialga of Time, & Zygarde of Order & Balance. Xerneas & Dialga worked with Groudon of Land to create Celebi the time-traveling onion fairy guardian of the forest. Celebi can travel to the past & the future. Calyrex can see the past & the future. Both Grass/Psychic. Similar body types, including wings. Obviously Celebi created Calyrex. However, there is one thing Calyrex did not get from Celebi... Calyrex is supposedly the king of Galar, & potentially of more, perhaps beyond being king of a physical area, it could be the king of a group of Pokemon and/or people. The only Pokemon I could think of for Calyrex to get its King status from also follows the British theme of Galar. For a long time many kings (including & especially British kings) claimed “Divine Right” AKA “God’s Mandate”; meaning they were supposedly chosen by God to be king, and they answer to no one but God Himself (including the people they rule & even other governing bodies... how convenient...) So I think it’s possible Celebi worked with Arceus to create Calyrex, which would make Calyrex the only Pokemon Arceus made with another Pokemon (as far as I can tell). Zygarde worked with Lunala of Planets & Moons to create Regigigas the organizer of the continents, the intended keeper of balance between Land & Sea. Regigigas created Registeel. Registeel create Melmetal/Meltan. Perhaps Registeel created Meltan who combined to become Melmetal. Perhaps Registeel created Melmetal who created Meltan with the ability to combine and become another Melmetal. Whichever. It doesn’t really matter. I believe Calyrex as King worked with Melmetal & Zygarde to create Zacian & Zamazenta. Zacian & Zamazenta being the knights of king Calyrex. Zygarde gave them their Canine form; as well as the fact that knights traditionally belong to an Order, and part of an Order of Knights’ mission is to keep order. Meltan’s Let’s Go Pokedex says: It melts particles of iron and other metals found in the subsoil, so it can absorb them into its body of molten steel. Zacian’s Sword Pokedex: Known as a legendary hero, this Pokémon absorbs metal particles, transforming them into a weapon it uses to battle. Zamazenta’s Sword Pokedex: In times past, it worked together with a king of the people to save the Galar region. It absorbs metal that it then uses in battle. I believe Melmetal gave Zacian & Zamazenta their ability to absorb metal to create their iconic Sword & Shield. Zacian & Zamazenta obviously co-created the Swords of Justice. The Sacred Sword of Zacian, the Fighting Type of Zamazenta. Also, Cobalion, the leader of the Swords of Justice, is named for its color, and is the same type combo as Zamazenta. I believe Zacian & Zamazenta worked with Shaymin to create Virizion. Other options for co-creators of Virizion are Celebi, Tapu Bulu, or even Calyrex. But for some reason I lean more towards Shaymin. Perhaps because it’s quadrupedal in both forms. It’s possible that Zacian & Zamazenta worked with Regirock and/or even Diancie to create Terrakion... but it’s also entirely possible that they created Terrakion alone. Diancie could work with the knight theme as it has a very Princess-y appearance. I believe Zacian & Zamazenta worked with Suicune to create Keldeo. Tangent! Suicune is at the moment the highest authority Fresh Water Legendary. Kyogre, Manaphy, Phione, & Tapu Fini are all Salt Water. Volcanion is the Legendary of both Deadly-Hot Water Geysers (like Old Faithful of Yellowstone) AND Refreshingly-Hot Water Springs; however I believe Suicune worked with Entei to create Volcanion, making Suicune higher in the ranks of Fresh Water. And it just makes more sense for Suicune to make Keldeo than any other Water Legendary. Xerneas worked with Lunala & Solgaleo to create Ho-Oh. The movie ‘I Choose You’ connects Marshadow strongly with Ho-Oh, leading me to believe Ho-Oh created it. The Life theme & Resurrection power of Ho-Oh fits the Ghost type of Marshadow. Also the fire in Marshadow’s eyes. As of now (but this may change when the Sword/Shield DLC releases), I believe Marshadow worked with Keldeo to create Kubfu/Urshifu. Rapid Strike Form of course taking after Keldeo, being the same Fighting/Water Type combo. Single Strike Form taking after Marshadow, being Fighting/Dark compared to Marshadow’s Fighting/Ghost. also, Kubfu’s body type resembles Marshadow a bit. Perhaps Marshadow & Keldeo created 2 Urshifu; 1 Rapid Strike, 1 Single Strike. or perhaps they created 2 Kubfu; 1 becoming Rapid Strike, the other becoming Single Strike.

New Mythical Pokemon! Zarude Name wise, same as Zacian & Zamazenta Za = The Cian = Cyan = Blue Mazenta = Magenta = Red Princess Zelda in Japan is Zeruda. in Japanese R/L cannot be next to D without a vowel between. so Zarude is actually Zarde. Za = The rde = Verde = Green. Happy coincidence that Japanese requires adding the letter U, which happens to add the word Rude, and Zarude happens to be rude. Zacian is Fairy Type Zamazenta is Fighting Type Zarude is Dark Type so the heroic 2 are super effective against the rude 1. Zarude is also Grass Type. so I looked at all the Legendary/Mythical Grass Types. none of them are Dark Type. only 1 is rude. sure, Virizion (& possibly Calyrex) can come off as a bit self-righteous (tho not nearly as much as Cobalion), but that’s not nearly the level of rude I’m looking for. Tapu Bulu’s Moon Pokedex entry refers to it as “savage” and its Ultra Sun entry refers to it as “violent” all 4 of the Tapus are the less benevolent kind of “guardian deity” Zarude can wrap its vines around a wound of its own or of another and heal it. So the Grass type, the Rudeness, & the Healing power could all come from Tapu Bulu. I’ve already said in a previous post that I believe Shaymin worked together with Xerneas to create Tapu Bulu. Zarude’s Dark Type... I don’t think it came from Hoopa Unbound as we’ve seen no Hyperspace themes. Zarude seems to be based on the Shug Monkey of Cambridgeshire Folklore. kind of a werewolf, but wolf/monkey instead of wolf/man. (also notice how then all 3 Za’s are wolves!) werewolves of course are very Lunar in theme, so there is a loose connection to Darkrai, tho so far without any Sleep/Dream/Nightmare theme. ...it’s a fairly loose connection, but it’s possible that Tapu Bulu worked with Darkrai to create Zarude. Zarude can heal, Yveltal can drain Life Energy directly... ...it’s a very loose connection, but it’s possible that Tapu Bulu worked with Yveltal to create Zarude. But I also think it’s entirely possible that Tapu Bulu made Zarude without any help. Edit: Now that I’ve seen the pink Celebi in those trailers for the new movie with Zarude, as well as Zarude saving not-Tarzan... we’ll see. I want to watch the movie before I move any further with this theory, but Celebi might be more involved than I originally thought.

Lunala part 2!! Kyogre & Groudon are at war! Regigigas made body guards and is in hiding. so Lunala returns to the 2 Legendaries it worked with to make the 1st earthly trio... to make a 2nd trio to end the conflict. Lunala works with Solgaleo to create Ho-Oh, who can control the Gaseous Matter to change the weather to sunlight, to counter Kyogre. But even more so, Ho-Oh is the Rainbow Pokemon. The Rainbow is the line between the Sunlight & the Rain. While Solgaleo gave Groudon the ability to intensify the Sunlight, Groudon represents the Land on Earth, not the Sun itself. Ho-Oh was given that honor, by Solagleo the Legendary of Stars, to represent the specific star that is the Earth’s Sun. But Lunala also wanted this new trio to have some extra power. So Lunala invited Xerneas of Life to help create Ho-Oh. Xerneas took full advantage of this opportunity, and of all of Xerneas’ creations, Ho-Oh is Xerneas’ true heir. Xerneas made a lot of guardians of life (future post), but only Ho-Oh was given resurrection power to give life. Also Xerneas is known for its multicolored antlers, and Ho-Oh is known for its multicolored wings. Like Kyogre, Lunala made Lugia alone (as far as I can tell). Lugia also controls the Gaseous Matter to change the weather to rain, to counter Groudon. and Lugia is the Diving Pokemon... yet not Water type. Because, as Ho-Oh represents the Sun, Lugia represents the Moon. Not as much as Cresselia (a separate creation of Lunala for a future post), but while Cresselia represents spiritual side of the moon; the night time when the moon is out and the living creatures with spirits sleep and Dream... Lugia represents the physical side of the moon; The Gravity that controls the Tides of the Earth’s Water. Gravity is a Psychic Type move. Lunala worked with Zygarde the green serpent of Order & Balance again to create another green serpent. Rayquaza. Given the most power to nullify all weather conditions, and the most responsibility to lead & protect the order & balance of Earth. The one who ultimately brought the conflict between Kyogre & Groudon to an end. And continued to protect Earth not only from domestic threats like the war of land vs sea, but also from foreign threats like Deoxys, created by Lunala’s sibling-turned-predator, Necrozma. Some point to Ho-Oh resurrecting the Legendary Beasts as them being created by Ho-Oh. Some point to 2nd Pokemon Movie as Lugia being the creator of the Legendary Birds. But I think these 3 flying creations of Lunala worked together to create 3 trios to help with their mission. sure, Lugia took the lead when they created Raikou, Zapdos, & Thundurus. and Ho-Oh took the lead when they created Entei, Moltres, & Landorus. and Rayquaza took the lead when they created Suicune, Articuno, & Tornadus. But the 3 of them created the 3 Trios together. (Ho-Oh & Rayquaza gave Raikou, Entei, Suicune, & Landorus beast forms to honor Solgaleo & Zygarde’s 10% form) Heatran was the only one of Groudon’s creations that chose to join the fight. Celebi & Shaymin chose to be guardians, not warriors. Manaphy & Tapu Fini chose similarly to protect, not fight. this created a 2 against 1 imbalance. Ho-Oh flew between the fight, creating the Rainbow as a line between the Sunlight & the Rain. Lugia flew over Groudon to counter the drought. Moltres flew over Kyogre to counter the drizzle. Articuno flew over Groudon’s highest mountains to give them snow caps; water on land. while Groudon kept Kyogre busy, Heatran was free to move, creating volcanoes to expand the land. Zapdos flew over Heatran, bringing cool rain to weaken Heatran and more quickly stop the lava flow. But Heatran kept moving. The 3 Legendary Beasts followed at a distance, coming to each volcano after Heatran left. Entei turning the volcanoes inactive. Raikou filling the craters with rainwater. Suicune running across the new crater lakes, purifying them for both fresh water creatures to live in and land creatures to drink from. As Groudon fought Kyogre and tried to avoid Lugia, both endeavors kept Groudon distracted from the harm Groudon’s own drought was causing to the land itself, and both endeavors kept Groudon moving. After Groudon would leave an area, oblivious to the destruction wrought on the land by the harsh sunlight... Tornadus would come to blow away the hot air and burnt surface dust. Thundurus would bring the rain to re-hydrate the scorched ground. and Landorus would bring the nutrients so things could grow and live on the land again. and then there’s the creations. Raikou is both sabre-tooth tiger & pit bull. Entei is both lion & mastiff. Suicune is both leopard & wolf. Raikou the Thunder Pokemon created Zeraora the Thunderclap Pokemon. Electric Feline. Suicune is many things. Suicune is the north wind. Suicune is pure water. Suicune is Fresh Water (most water Legendaries are Salt Water). Suicune helped Zacian & Zamazenta create Keldeo, who can also run on water. Entei worked with Suicune to create Volcanion. Ironically, Volcanion has volcano in its name, but is not a volcano pokemon. Volcanion is a hot water geyser pokemon. like Old Faithful in Yellowstone. These usually happen around volcanoes and because of volcanoes. but they are not themselves volcanoes. but Volcanion is an ultimate combination of Entei’s area of expertise & Suicune’s. Zapdos helped Xerneas create Tapu Koko, who was given the image of Zapdos. Yellow Electric Bird. if Articuno made a Pokemon, I don’t think we’ve seen it yet. Moltres did not create Shaymin. Groudon did that. But Groudon did not give Shaymin the ability to fly. Zapdos is Autumn. Articuno is Winter. Moltres is not Summer. According to multiple Pokedex entries, Moltres is Spring. As Ho-Oh is the heir of Xerneas, Moltres is the heir of Ho-Oh. Spring is Life. Spring is flowers, like the Gracidea Flower. Shaymin & Moltres may not look like it, but they are mutual Best Friends. Moltres gave Shaymin the ability to change form and Fly with Moltres. I love a happy ending.

Lunala of Moons & Planets. Bodies of Matter with enough Mass to have enough Gravity to force a sphere, and that Matter is in the States of Solid, Liquid, and/or Gas. So Lunala is not just the Legendary of the Moon, but of the Earth as well. So Lunala made the 2 earthly trios. This is Lunala’s 1st Trio. Groudon of Land. What is Land but the Solid Matter on a Planet. Groudon has control over the Solid Matter on the Planet, and can affect the Gaseous Matter to change the weather to intense Sunlight. Lunala worked with Solgaleo of Suns & Stars to create Groudon. Kyogre of Oceans & Seas. The Liquid Matter on a Planet. Kyogre has control over the Liquid Matter on the Planet, and can affect the Gaseous Matter to change the weather to heavy rain. If Lunala worked with another Legendary to create Kyogre, I don’t think we have been introduced to said Legendary. It makes sense for Lunala to make Kyogre alone, because what is one of the most iconic real world relations the moon has with the earth? Tides. The Moon’s Gravity affecting the Earth’s Liquid Matter. Rayquaza may be the Trio Master of Groudon & Kyogre now, but Regigigas was the original. Regigigas moves the continents, brings Order & Balance to the Land & Sea. A multicolored titan wrapped in Green, just like Zygarde. Lunala worked with Zygarde (the Legendary of Order & Balance) to create Regigigas. Then Groudon & Kyogre started fighting. Whether Eternatus was involved in starting this conflict or not is unclear. but to help their fight against each other, Groudon & Kyogre each created helpers. Groudon worked with Xerneas of Life & Dialga of Time to create Celebi. Celebi the Guardian of the Forests. Where it goes, Trees grow. Tree roots hold the land together, and help keep land from falling into the sea. Celebi created Calyrex. Both Grass/Psychic with similar bodies. Celebi can travel to the Past & the Future. Calyrex can see the Past & the Future. as far as I can tell, Groudon worked alone to create Shaymin & Heatran. In the Shaymin event in Diamond, Pearl, & Platinum, we see Shaymin create land. the Pokedex says: It can dissolve toxins in the air to instantly transform ruined land into a lush field of flowers. Shaymin worked with Xerneas to create Tapu Bulu. If not only for typing, then also for specifics of grass, plains, flowers. Shaymin worked with Zacian & Zamazenta to create Virizion. Sword of Justice of the Grasslands. It is technically possible that Celebi and/or Calyrex could have been involved with the creation of Tapu Bulu and/or Virizion, but neither of them show any Time abilities. Heatran is of course a Volcano Legendary. Erupting magma to cool and expand the land mass. Kyogre worked with Mesprit of Emotion to create Manaphy. The Prince of the Sea that can bond with anyone. Manaphy creates Phione, as everyone already knows. Kyogre worked with Xerneas to create Tapu Fini. again, typing and specifically salt water (as opposed to Suicune’s fresh water). Fortunately, it seems all the pokemon Groudon & Kyogre created refused to contribute to the war...except perhaps Heatran, which would create an imbalance. When all this fighting started, instead of keeping Order & Balance, Regigigas create 5 (as far as we know) body guards and hid in a cave. As far as I can tell, Regigigas didn’t work with any other Legendaries to create the Regis, but I suppose it’s possible. Regirock created Diancie (MAYBE with Dialga, but again, no Time powers). If Regice created a Legendary, I don’t think we’ve seen it yet. Registeel created Melmetal (maybe Registeel created Meltan, and the Meltans combined to become Melmetal). I have no doubt whatsoever that these 2 new Regis represent the Dark Ages & the Age of Enlightenment. The Dark one *could be Dragon Type, but I think the Dragon Skull arms have a greater emphasis on Skull rather than on Dragon. So I think it’s Dark Type. The Light one is definitely Electric Type. and I believe it created Rotom. The Age on Enlightenment is this current (& future) age of electricity & technology. Rotom can enter most electric technology. Since Regigigas did not Keep the Order, Balance, & Peace, what did Lunala do in response to Kyogre & Groudon’s war?

The Lake Trio’s relation with Unown & the Unova Dragon Trio. Uxie of Knowledge. Unown A-Z. the letters used to form the words used to communicate knowledge. Azelf of Will. Unown ?. The Question Mark used when you ask for something you want. Mesprit of Emotion. Unown !. The Exclamation Point used when you express how you feel. All Psychic Type. perhaps the Lake Trio made the Unown. or perhaps Arceus used the Unown to make the Lake Trio (we see a definite connection between Arceus & the Unown in the Sinjoh Ruins event in HeartGold/SoulSilver). I’m not certain, but there’s definitely a connection between the Unown & the Lake Trio. I believe Zygarde of Order & Balance made the Original Dragon of the Unova Trio; perfect balance of Truth & Ideals. I theorized in a previous post that Eternatus could have had an influence in the split into Reshiram, Zekrom, & Kyurem. But perhaps the Lake Trio flew in & helped save the split from falling into complete chaos. Uxie of Knowledge could have helped Reshiram become the Legendary of Truth, as those 2 categories are extremely closely connected. Mesprit of Emotion could have helped Zekrom become the Legendary of Ideals, as different people have different ideals because of how they feel. Azelf of Willpower could have helped Kyurem become the one who could choose which between Truth & Ideals, as choice is based on will. I don’t believe the Lake Trio helped cause the split of the Original Dragon, but perhaps they helped bring the 3 resulting Legendaries purpose.

here we go. When creation went wrong. What did Giratina get banished for? Was it willful & malicious or an accident? who knows. as I mentioned in an earlier post, Giratina is the Legendary of everything physically within Time & Space; including Gravity & Antimatter. Both Gravity & Antimatter are powerful & dangerous. Gravity powers could result in an accidental Black Hole. Antimatter powers could result in an accidental explosive reaction with Matter. Either of those could result in destruction & death, leading to the existence of Yveltal; perhaps by creation by Arceus to govern this new thing called death, or perhaps the introduction of death itself drew Yveltal out of Arceus’ creative power without choice. Regardless... let’s begin with some of Giratina’s creations. as I mentioned in an earlier post, I believe Giratina created Hoopa. Hoopa’s gold loop resembles the gold accents on Giratina & Solgaleo & Lunala, perhaps implying Gravity powers. Theoretically, Giratina could use gravity to make Wormholes to other points in Space, Time, and/or other Dimensions; an ability which Giratina could have passed on to Solgaleo, Lunala (Ultra Wormholes to Ultra Space), & Hoopa. Lunala of Planets/Moons; bodies of matter with enough mass to have enough gravity to force a spherical shape, also the matter on this body is in the forms of solid, liquid, and/or gas (as opposed to the plasma of the stars/suns of Solgaleo). so Matter, Gravity, & Wormholes... Giratina created Lunala. Lunala worked with Uxie, Mesprit, & Azelf to create Cresselia. a very moon based Legendary, but also the Legendary of Dreams; which makes it very strongly connected with Emotions, Knowledge, & Willpower. I believe Ultra Necrozma was Necrozma’s original form. Necrozma was originally the Legendary of Light. Not originally the Legendary of Blackholes, but rather of Whiteholes. Necrozma can also open Ultra Wormholes. Light, Whiteholes, Wormholes... so again, Gravity. Giratina is the Legendary of EVERYTHING physically within Time & Space; including Light. Giratina made Necrozma in its original form... so what happened? Just as Xerneas may have created Mew to lead to more life in the form of nonlegendaries multiplying and filling the earth and the rest of the universe... ...so Yveltal may have its own plan to lead to more death... perhaps Yveltal saw the power of Giratina and its creations and tricked Giratina into working with Yveltal to create Eternatus. Yveltal’s Y Pokedex entry: it absorbs the life energy of every living thing and turns into a cocoon once more. Eternatus’ Sword Pokedex entry: The core on its chest absorbs energy emanating from the lands of the Galar region. This energy is what allows Eternatus to stay active. Eternamax’s Shield Pokedex entry: Infinite amounts of energy pour from this Pokémon's enlarged core, warping the surrounding space-time. so Eternatus absorbs energy like Yveltal, AND when it’s in power overload, it warps the surrounding space-time! If any pokemon is about warping space-time, it’s Giratina. Eternatus is a bit like a Metroid, it can take energy (how it becomes Eternamax) and it can give energy (how other pokemon Dynamax). perhaps Yveltal specifically designed Eternamax to change/corrupt/warp other Legendary Pokemon... Darkrai isolates itself on an island to prevent others from falling under its nightmares. Platinum Pokedex says “it means no harm.” perhaps Darkrai is a corrupted/warped copy of Cresselia by Eternatus. Perhaps Eternatus absorbed energy from Necrozma... and broke it. Turning it from a Whitehole to a Blackhole. Still able to regain its original form, but only by itself absorbing energy from one of its own siblings, Solgaleo or Lunala... and even then, it doesn’t keep its original form for very long. It’s just too broken. Broken beyond permanent repair. and corrupted/warped it in its hunger for light/energy. Necrozma’s Moon Pokedex entry says: Light is apparently the source of its energy. It has an extraordinarily vicious disposition and is constantly firing off laser beams. Its signature move is Prismatic Laser. Deoxys’ Pokedex entries: Ruby: The DNA of a space virus underwent a sudden mutation upon exposure to a laser beam and resulted in Deoxys. The crystalline organ on this Pokémon's chest appears to be its brain. Sapphire: Deoxys emerged from a virus that came from space. This Pokémon shoots lasers from the crystalline organ on its chest. Emerald: A Pokémon that mutated from an extraterrestrial virus exposed to a laser beam. ...this seems obvious to me... Necrozma’s Laser created Deoxys. Perhaps Eternatus gave energy to Hoopa... too much energy... corrupting/warping it into the Dark type unbound form. taking a break from all this bad news for a moment. Zygarde of Order & Balance. I believe Zygarde created the Original Dragon of the Gen 5 Dragon trio. The Original Dragon was a perfect balance of Truth & Ideals. back to the bad news. 2 brothers became the kings of Unova, and they disagreed. 1 brother wanted to rule with Truth. the other wanted to rule with Ideals. the Original Dragon split into 3. Reshiram of Truth. Zekrom of Ideals. Kyurem the empty husk of the Original Dragon. Perhaps Eternatus is like Stephen King’s IT or The Black Thing of A Wrinkle In Time... perhaps Eternatus is drawn to negativity; be it fear, doubt, anger, sadness, disagreements, etc... perhaps Eternatus helped the Original Dragon split, and absorbed some of the energy of the split... leaving Kyurem like Necrozma... broken. sure, it can fuse with 1 of the other 2... but never again can all 3 fuse to become the Original Dragon... because Eternatus absorbed too much... they’re too broken. but that’s just a theory, a really dark and depressing theory. sorry. Edit: I’m gonna mention this in a future post, but I believe Lunala & Zygarde worked together to make Rayquaza, who is an answer to the threat of Deoxys, created by Necrozma (Lunala’s sibling turned predator) post-corruption by Eternatus (who also corrupted/split the Original Dragon [Zygarde’s creation] into Kyurem & the other 2). Fits really well in this story/theory.

The Lake trio. The spiritual trio (in contrast to the physical trio AKA the creation trio). Mesprit of Emotion. Mesprit’s Pearl Pokedex entry says: Although it slumbers at the bottom of the lake, its spirit is said to leave its body and flitter on the water surface. Mespirit’s HeartGold Pokedex entry says: This Pokémon is said to have endowed the human heart with emotions, such as sorrow and joy. so obviously Mesprit was involved in the creation of Manaphy. the Pokedex says that Manaphy “is born with a wondrous power that lets it bond with any kind of Pokémon.” also, Manaphy’s signature move is Heart Swap, a Psychic type move, despite Manaphy itself not being Psychic type... probably because Manaphy was created by the Psychic type Legendary of Emotion (bond. heart. enough said.), Mesprit. Also note the red gem/crystal in Manaphy’s chest resembles the red gems/crystals in the forehead & two tails of all 3 Lake trio members, including Mesprit. Also Manaphy has 2 tails on its head, similar to how all 3 Lake trio members have 2 tails, including Mesprit. It’s possible that all 3 Lake trio members were involved in the creation of Manaphy, but it clearly has a stronger connection to Emotion and therefore Mesprit. Also, and this will be in a future post, Kyogre was also obviously involved in the creation of Manaphy. Tapu Lele. I’m gonna be honest, this is the Pokemon in this image I’m the least certain belongs. I believe Xerneas created the 4 Tapus (AKA Guardian Deities), and that will be in a future post. But I also believe Xerneas worked with other Legendaries to help differentiate the 4 Tapus. Tapu Lele is Psychic type. Tapu Lele is pink. The Lake trio are all Psychic type. Mesprit is pink. Also, Mesprit’s head shape looks more like the antenna of Tapu Lele. but honestly, almost any Psychic type Legendary could be the one Xerneas worked with to create Tapu Lele, I just think Mesprit is the most likely. Jirachi! Azelf made Jirachi. This was one of my earliest ideas when I first started this Legendary family tree back during gen 4, and it has remained one of the few connections that has not changed in my theory at all over time. Azelf of Willpower. Jirachi of Wishes. Pretty self-explanatory. Jirachi’s Sapphire Pokedex entry says: It is said to make true any wish that people desire. Jirachi’s signature move is Doom Desire. “wish” and “desire” are obviously very connected with willpower. Also, Jirachi is Psychic type. Also, the tri tip head shape of Jirachi is similar to the tri tip head shape of Azelf. Victini! Victini of Victory. the connection to Azelf is less obvious, but it is there. People want to win. Want is just another word for will. Azelf’s Platinum Pokedex entry says: When Azelf flew, people gained the determination to do things. It was the birth of willpower. Azelf’s HeartGold & SoulSilver Pokedex entry says: This Pokémon is said to have endowed humans with the determination needed to face any of life's difficulties. Azelf gave the will to win to humans. The desire for victory. Jirachi is Psychic/Steel. Victini is Psychic/Fire. Jirachi is the Wishing Star. Victini is the Victory Star. Jirachi’s signature move Doom Desire description in Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald: Summons strong sunlight to attack 2 turns later. Wishes, Desires, & Victory combined with Stars & Sunlight. Azelf worked with Solgaleo to create both Jirachi & Victini. True siblings. Like Manaphy & Tapu Lele, it is possible that all 3 Lake trio members were involved in the creation of Jirachi and/or Victini, but Azelf clearly has a stronger connection to Jirachi & Victini. Cresselia & Darkrai! Dreams & Nightmares. Emotion, Knowledge, & Willpower are all equally involved in Dreams & Nightmares. Cresselia & Darkrai are the Lunar Duo. Uxie, Mesprit, & Azelf worked with Lunala to create Cresselia & Darkrai. Perhaps they only created Cresselia, while Dakrai could be a corruption created by a more “evil” Legendary. I’ll explore that idea in a future post.
Meloetta of Melody. Pokedex: Its melodies are sung with a special vocalization method that can control the feelings of those who hear it. The melodies sung by Meloetta have the power to make Pokémon that hear them happy or sad. Obviously stronger connection to Mesprit of Emotion, Yet Knowledge & Willpower are also strongly involved in art; including both music & dance. So while Mesprit may have been the leader in the creation of Meloetta, I do believe Uxie & Azelf were both also involved. Mew. supposed ancient ancestor of “all” (nonlegendary?) Pokemon. The Lake trio specialize in spirit, but the spirits of what? The few Legendary Pokemon of the creation era? That’s not a lot. So they created Mew to lead to nonlegendary pokemon mulitplying and filling the universe with spirits (spirits with bodies, but whatever). Xerneas has a similar issue. It specializes in life, but what life? The few Legendaries of the creation era? again, not a lot. So Xerneas could have worked with the Lake trio to make Mew to make more nonlegendary life. There are a few others the Lake trio created or could have been involved with the creation of... but I’ll get to those in a future post. Mainly because I don’t want to make the size of the images too small. But also because I need to explore the Original Dragon of the Gen 5 Dragon trio in a future post before returning to the Lake trio’s connection to the Gen 5 Dragon trio.

So here’s an example of what I mean by “greater” and “lesser” categories. Just starting out with the Legendaries that the Creation Trio worked *together to create. While Dialga is the Legendary of Time, and Palkia is the Legendary of Space, Giratina is the Legendary of everything that physically exists within Time & Space. Matter, antimatter, dark matter, energy, gravity, light, etc there’s a lot there. but as the Legendary of gravity, matter, energy, & light... Giratina created Solgaleo of Stars/Suns & Lunala of Planets/Moons. Both are all about masses of matter with enough mass to have enough gravity to force a spherical shape. The matter in Solgaleo’s suns & stars just happens to be in the state of plasma undergoing nuclear fusion... ...while the matter in Lunala’s planets & moons just happens to be in the states of solids, liquids, & gases. then the Legendaries of the Sun & Planets worked together to create Groudon of Land (solid matter on the planet) who can change the weather to intense Sunlight. Then Celebi is such a mix. Celebi can travel through time, so Dialga was obviously involved. Also while Celebi can travel through time, it is not known as the guardian of time, but rather guardian of the forest, whose tree roots help hold the land together & help keep the land that is close to the sea from falling into the sea. So I believe Groudon was involved considering his war against Kyogre. also, trees are alive & support life (also, Xerneas has a tree form)... also Celebi is classified as an Onion Fairy because it is so obviously a fairy even though it lacks the Fairy type for no good reason... so I believe Xerneas was involved. So Xerneas, Dialga, & Groudon worked together to create Celebi. Calyrex not only shares both Types with Celebi, as well as visual/body similarities (also wings), but also a time theme. While Celebi can *travel through time, Calyrex can only *see both the past & the future (still impressive). So I believe Celebi created Calyrex. Finally, Hoopa, who can use its loop to create portals. X’s Pokedex confirms that Hoopa’s loop can warp Space. While OmegaRuby & AlphaSapphire include Mirage Spots with mysterious rings out of which various Legendary Pokemon can be encountered. These mysterious rings resemble Hoopa’s loop. Some of these Mirage Spots are called “Dimensional Rifts” While Hoopa’s portals can definitely connect 2 points in Space, as well as connect 2 different Dimensions, it remains unclear if these portals can connect 2 points in Time. Theoretically, using Gravity, Giratina could create a Wormhole not only to travel between 2 points in space or 2 different dimensions, but also between 2 points in time. I absolutely believe Giratina and/or Palkia was involved in creating Hoopa. Giratina could be its only creator. Palkia could be its only creator. or they could have worked together. I tend to lean towards Giratina with or without Palkia’s involvment, especially considering visual appearance... Hoopa’s gold loops resemble Giratina’s gold lining, which is also present on Solgaleo & Lunala, seemingly connecting that gold trim to Gravity powers. Whether Dialga was involved remains uncertain, because even if Hoopa can use its portals to travel through time, that could just be from Giratina’s wormhole influence.

Theory time! back in gen 4, I started kind of a Legendary family tree theory. Not a family tree as in children in the traditional biological sense, but more like creation in the supernatural sense. Think like Tolkien lore with Aule creating the Dwarves and Yavanna creating the Ents. Not biological, but supernatural. The manga lore is separate from the anime/movie lore, and both are separate from the video game lore. Just because something is true in the manga and/or anime/movies, does NOT mean it is true in the video games and vice versa. Also, the pokedex is man-made and is not necessarily always accurate. Legends & Myths are exactly that... legends and myths... stories and tales told and retold to varying degrees of accuracy and truth... and the lack thereof. I believe that Legendary Pokemon have special things that they are masters (if not creators) of. And when one Legendary’s special thing falls under the greater category of a different Legendary’s special thing... I believe the Legendary of the greater category was involved in the creation of the Legendary of the lesser category. So I started this “family tree” Obviously, Arceus begins it all. There is the Creation Trio: Dialga of Time, Palkia of Space, & Giratina of everything physically within the fabric of space-time (Gravity, matter, antimatter, dark matter, energy, light, etc). and there’s the “Lake Trio”...which the name itself shows the limited view of human labeling of Legendaries. Uxie of Knowledge, Mesprit of Emotion, & Azelf of Willpower I think a better classification would be the physical trio (Time, Space, & everything therein) & the spiritual trio (Knowledge, Emotion, & Willpower). Then there is Xerneas of Life, where the physical & the spiritual meet. I believe Arceus created those 7 first. knowingly, intentionally, purposefully. But Yveltal of Death is complicated... Did Arceus create Yveltal knowingly, intentionally, & purposefully? Or was Yveltal drawn out of Arceus’ creative power by necessity when Giratina had its big bad accident for which it was banished? Gravity (blackholes) and/or Antimatter (destructively reactive with Matter) are powerful and dangerous and easy to lose control in an accident that would likely result in death(s). Then no matter what died, the death could result in the necessity for a Legendary Pokemon of Death. So Yveltal could be the Legendary that Arceus did not create of its own free will, but (for lack of a better way to explain what I mean) kind of created itself from Arceus’ creation power. Then Arceus’ response to this big bad deadly accident & Legendary of Death? Zygarde of Order & Balance. To keep Giratina & Yveltal (& perhaps some of their creations) in check. I’ll post other parts of my Legendary family tree in the future, but I thought i should start at the top. I believe Arceus made these 9 directly. I know some will ask “what about Mew?” While Mew is *supposedly the genetic ancestor of “all” (nonlegendary?) pokemon... ...and while it’s possible that Arceus made Mew directly... ...between Xerneas & the Lake Trio (notice the Psychic Type & body similarities to Mew), there are other options than Arceus.

The Generation 8 Starters, the types they are… …and the types they should be. Rillaboom. All 3 Gen 8 starters are pure single type. Which I find to be boring and lazy. So Rillaboom is pure Grass type. It’s classified as the Drummer Pokemon. I think they missed an opportuiy here to unify the new “band” Pokemon. They others being Toxtricity Amped form (Eletric Guitar) & Low Key form (Bass Guitar). Not that Rillaboom should be poison or electric, definitely not. but Team Yell/Spikemuth Gym Trainers are very musical and use Dark types and Poison types (Marnie’s Toxicroak & Piers’ Toxtricity). If Rillaboom was Grass/Dark, this would play into the punk band theme (also fitting the real life British influence on punk music; a genre generally perceived as rebellious & moody...dark). also, Rillaboom only learns Grass, Normal, & Dark types moves by leveling up. other options include Ground type because it can learn many Ground type TMs & TRs; also the vibrations of the drum could shake the ground. Fairy type has a strong connection to nature & Grass type & harmony (Shield Pokedex: It has a gentle disposition and values harmony among its group). Fighting type also fits the way it beats the drum and the way music is often used to “fight the power” Cinderace is pure Fire type. It’s a rabbit that plays soccer (football everywhere outside the USA). It’s soccer ball is a rock. So it should be Fire/Rock type. other options: Fighting type could represent the competitive nature of sports. Soccer is the most played sport in the world, which makes it the “normal” sport. Inteleon is pure Water type. Bulbapedia words this well enough that I don’t care to reword it. “Inteleon follows the motif of British intelligence, James Bond in particular, with the hands being often posed like a gun, spouting water out of the fingertips, while the coloring of the skin in the belly forms a pattern resembling a blue jacket and black trousers on a white shirt.” Inteleon is a spy. Spies prefer to remain unseen & able to get places despite methods used to keep people out. Like ghosts & their ability to be invisible & move through walls. Inteleon should be Water/Ghost type. Yet! Sword Pokedex: It has a membrane on its back that it can use to glide through the air. So its appearance was influenced by flying lizards. And it’s a sniper, & snipers operate best from a high place (see its Gigantamax form). So it could be Water/Flying. Fighting type also fits the spy theme. Spies often find themselves in close combat. Dark type also fits the spy theme. Sneaking around in the shadows. Also, it’s a a lizard, and as a Dragon trainer, I can’t help but choose the only 1 of the 3 starters that is a reptile.

Something a theory by Zeltik & Nintendo Black Crisis got me thinking about. In Phantom Hourglass, we see the Phantom Sword forged with the 3 Pure Metals. I imagine the Master Sword would also be made of those 3 Pure Metals. But they have different names in Hyrule than in the World of the Ocean King. The 1st was obvious, Master Ore, we see it used to upgrade the Master Sword in A Link Between Worlds. The 2nd that I landed on was Timeshift Stone, because the Master Sword activates the Gates of Time, Door of Time, & Pedestal of Time (all of which must also have Timeshift Stone). But I was stuck on the last material for a while. Then Zeltik & NintendoBC did their theory videos about Luminous Stone. Master Ore is all about Light & Dark & Power. It is what gives the Master Sword its Holy Light with the Power to repel evil. It is also what makes Silver/Light Arrows/Bows able to harm/defeat Ganon/Evil. Since Ancient Tech is super effective on Calamity Ganon & the Blights (and since Light Arrows, Master Sword beams, & Ancient Arrows are the ONLY 3 things that can harm Beast Ganon), Ancient Tech/Arrows use Master Ore. Also, the 4 Divine Beasts damage Calamity Ganon. But Master Ore was also used in a different way to give Demise’s Sword a Dark Power (which explains that sword’s similar beam ability). Timeshift Stone gives the Master Sword its Time abilities. The Ocarina of Time, Harp of Ages, & Rod of Seasons are made of Timeshift Stone for obvious reasons. The Wind Waker can use Song of Passing to skip forward in time as many as 12 hours, so I believe it is also made of Timeshift Stone. The Sheikah Slate must use Timeshift Stone to freeze things in time with the Stasis Rune. Similarly, the Shrine of Resurrection froze Link’s body in time so he would not die of his wounds, while selectively not freezing his body’s ability to heal. As far as we know, Demise’s Sword has no Time abilities. Luminous Stone supposedly glows with the souls of the undead. This connection to Life & Death could provide a material the Sheikah could have used to make many of their inventions that can see & communicate with spirits. Sheikah Stones in OoT3D allow Link to relive his memories. Howling Stones allowed the living Hero of Twilight to communicate with the deceased Hero of Time. The Lens of Truth enables the user to see what is invisible, including spirits. The Hero’s Charm enables the user to know how close their enemies are to death. The Wind Waker can also use Command Melody to do exactly what the Dominion Rod does, which is to animate inanimate statues that I believe are made of Luminous Stone (the Wind Waker can also take control of certain living beings [Medli & Makar]). I believe both the Dominion Rod & the Wind Waker to be made of Luminous Stone. I believe the Luminous Stone’s connection to Life is what is used to give Life to both the Master Sword (Fi) & Demise’s Sword (Ghirahim). Perhaps every Mask that contains a spirit is also made of Luminous Stone (Majora’s Mask, Fierce Deity Mask, Fused Shadow, etc).

The big map with all that blue is Greater Hyrule from The Adventure Of Link. Find Hyrule from Breath of the Wild on that big map. Death Mountain. Can you find any areas that look similar to the other maps from other games? Holodrum? Old Kasuto Town, New Kasuto Town, & Three-Eye Rock? Labrynna? Saria Town, Mido Town, & Island Palace? Hytopia? North Castle? *or Midoro Palace? Drablands? Maze Island? *or Tantari Desert & Midoro Swamp? The other pic is just the West half of Greater Hyrule.

because of Avengers: Endgame, I decided to do a thing. What if the original 6 MCU Avengers were/had Pokémon?
