I love how stark the difference is between Palkia and Dialga and their angstier sibling is in PMD Explorers.

Like, Dialga's pretty chill once it's calmed down, but it spends most of the game's plot as an unhinged monster that's accelerating the destruction of the world in its madness, and is the one behind much of the villainy going on in the main plot.

Palkia is fully lucid, but tricked into believing that the Hero and Partner are the problem, and it's very determined to kill you about it. And once it understands the truth, it switches focus and tries to kill Darkrai instead.

And then Giratina's just "Hey man, you seem pretty strong. Come take on my spooky dungeon. If you can beat me in a fight I'll give you a trumpet."
