Anatole doesn’t have his own solo in great comet - unlike the rest of the main characters (Pierre, Sonya, Natasha) - because he does nothing for himself. He makes others do things for him and piggybacks along, then takes all the credit for himself. He only ever sings lines that interrupt or interject something of another person’s song or musical idea, or he sings with someone with whom he is in cahoots (like Hélène or Dolokhov).

guys I’ve been reading War and Peace and hoooly hell it is Very Good. And when they say Natasha is young….. my dudes she is seventeen. She’s this skinny little teenager whose little body can barely contain all her emotions, and Pierre is just this big gentle bear going through midlife crisis after midlife crisis, and I love them a lot.

Poor, poor Princess Marya. I haven’t finished yet, but according to Gelsey Bell she gets a happy ending, so I’m holding out for Bolkonsky to just freaking die already and stop tormenting his family. Here she is with her little nephew Prince Nikolay.

there are not enough words to say how upset I was when I've known that Great Comet closes I live in Russia and I dreamed that if I finish my school exams successfully, I'll make a gift to myself, find some money, travel to NY and surely go to Broadway but ... I know that there is nothing really terrifying, but I feel a hole in my soul WaP is a great story, and Great Comet was an exciting show, with awesome artists and I think it gave to everybody breathtaking emotions and memories (because for me it was really breathtaking only to listen studio records) Yep, I never been there and never feel it and I don't know if I could ever feel Life is going on, we should hope for the best and be glad that we had a lot of good time together, and this show gives us not only great adaptation but also it gives to us each other I cry and smile right now because I found a lot of wonderful people here and their wonderful art and I started to talk about absolutely another thing so I should finish my speech I love you all, I love great comet, I love war and peace so much and we all "must live, must love, must believe" ❤️
