important note from the artist (camdyn):
"the trans flag is dedicated to Jupiter, who is a butch transfem lesbian. it's true, she told me."

Meditations on Queer Pride
Marker and mixed media gel sticks on paper, June 2025
Experimented with traditional media last night! In honor of Pride Month and in light of the state of the world, I made some pride flags!
For each flag, I referred to the meanings of the original designs and colored the stripes/elements based on my thoughts and feelings on those concepts. The astronomical imagery was an intended, yet natural result of the beautiful complexities of gender, sexuality, and the human experience.

Generational Hurt; Generational Hope
Clip Studio Paint, April-June 2025
This piece features (from top to bottom) Lydia, Nisteus, and Nellie, three generations of the same family. The hurt passed down between them once left them in silent separation, but they are building bridges over time.
Detail shots under the cut!

what’s the strangest way you have split/discovered a new headmate?
#okay this was when we were living with our toxic ex partner sys#who insisted on having a romantic partnership with us for every one of their alters#one day they were lamenting that one alter did not have a boyfriend#and they told us to “put up a sign in headspace” to attract a new alter#lo and behold the next day a new alter fronted for the first time after seeing the sign#he had been living alone in the woods for who knows how long#ofc partner sys lovebombed him immediately so he fucked off and didnt front again for several years#but none of us genuinely expected that to work#plurality#plural questions

Many of us have wildly different tastes in music. There are a few genres that tend to be more widely enjoyed (alt rock, indie, hip hop). People usually make their own playlists if they front frequently enough.
Examples of how different our tastes can be:
Kaz: Indie folk, pop punk, 2000s alt rock, emo white boy hip hop, J-pop, J-rock
Seijah: 50% sad girl ballads, 50% dancey meme music from the 2000s and 2010s
Nisteus: Dancey pop music, rock opera, goth rock, classical piano, opera, 90s anime music, 15th century madrigals
Michael: classic rock, 60s folk, classical, jazz
Xavi: 80s-90s pop, Europop, techno
Seth: Alt rock, pop punk, Latin American pop, show tunes, ABBA
Silas: instrumental video game music, flamenco, acoustic folk
Ysmyr: Bhangra and Bollywood music
Vaaro: Irish and English folk music, sea shanties, Gregorian chants
Cassius: hard rock, folk metal
Glitch: chiptune, electropop
Shadow: rap and hip hop (primarily 80s-90s)
Nadiv: country and bluegrass
Camdyn: Psychedelica, prog rock, Ween
I could go on. ^^; We enjoy almost every genre of music we know of, with a few exceptions due to particular audio sensitivities. Our music streaming algorithms get so confused.

Shout out to all the kids who always picked shape-shifting as their hypothetical power growing up and assumed it was for gender affirmation but now realize it was also a plurality thing.

the coolest part of being in a system is discovering new triggers in yourself from stuff that happens when someone else is fronting. /s

#plural polls#system polls#plurality#plural system#depends on stress and life circumstances#just counted and we got 50 new alters in 2020 alone#but that was literally the most stressful year of our life lol#weve gained ~40 more members in the ~4 years since then#its down to around 5 new members per year now#we're more stable and safe and happy these days thankfully. but sometimes we still meet someone new for various reasons#its much more manageable at least lol
