I think my problem with valhoun kinda lies in the fact that, unlike Gordon, Barney didn’t get whisked away to an unknown location for 20 years? And knowing the guy is labeled a resistance leader (and the fact he’s hanging around Kleiner- who we know Alyx spent a lot of her formative years around) I can only think that at least at some point he met Alyx while she was growing up. Idk it’s just odd to think he’d disappear and not be involved in helping the resistance for 20 odd years to then suddenly manifest the minute she turns of legal age, you know what I mean?

also like. she was 4 around the ResCas incident with Barney being already 20+ at the time so any potential interaction beyond that point would purely make any future relationship platonic/familial.
