Two weeks ago I was working night shifts, so only got a single Karate session in. This passed week didn't get any training done, but can't complain, lovely time in Italy. So, today, off to Garswood Goju Ryu for the morning session and then up to Blackrod for the afternoon session.

Mindset is vital to so much in both life and the martial arts. The important thing about the martial arts is that they have the most complete system or the development of a positive and useful mindset.
Having a good mindset is central to so many aspects of life. In many ways our happiness and success is dependant on our mindset. The really important thing is that mindset are not fixed and can be altered, either by events or deliberately. And most importantly in relation to the martial arts, they can be created.

I am really sorry to learn of the passing of Fumio Demura.
Perhaps the best teacher of Karate I have ever been lucky enough to train with.
