i’m so sorry Anakin, i hope you are able to stay safe. i was so shocked and horrified reading this, i truly hope you and your friend will be ok.

This is a serious talk. I am not in a good position, and this is a cry for help. While I am unsure if I am safe, someone dear to me, is not in any regard. I need help to help him.

As of 8:47, meet my best friend, who we will name E, was recently held victim to a similar incident I went through a few months ago when I joined Tumblr. I was jumped by my ex and sent to the hospital and required physical therapy for about a month.

For context, both me and him have electric bikes, bikes that if you've seen once or twice before, could easily point out as ours, as not many people own the brand of bike we own in our area, and ours having a custom paint job done to the frame of the bike, making it easy to spot and recognize. Me and him are out riding as we do on Monday nights. We took a stop for some food, and after we finished, we thought it would be a fun idea to race, mind you, on a back road with not too many people commonly going on said road. He owns a faster, more powerful bike, so he speeds off. He goes a bit far, about a quarter mile ahead of me, while doing so, passing a red SUV that looked similar to our old friends. When trying to catch up, that red SUV speeds past me, driving in the direction of E and not slowing down. The driver rammed the car into E and shot him off his bike. You would think the driver would stop, instead, he backs up, and runs over E's arm. I panic and stop riding, as I didnt know what to do and was mostly frozen in fear. Before I knew, three individuals, who oddly looked a lot like people we no longer speak to, came out the car, and kicked E and through around his bike.

At this point in time I get back and try to speed over to him to get them off of E, before I could, they sped off. E's arm is completely shattered and gushed in blood, and I don't know of his arm will be able to fully recover. He was violently coughing blood and he was bleeding out of his head, he had a massive openly on his knee that I was able to wrap with my shirt, even if it made little difference. His bike is almost totaled, with the battery, motor, and controller being the only major components that appear to be functional. The front fork, both tires, the frame, and rims have major damage. E is currently being rushed to a hospital and a police report is going to be filed tomorrow morning. After reviewing the little GoPro footage we have, we can confirm it was our old friends that intentionally rammed into E, and we will be pressing charges if possible. That being said, these people know where I live, and so does for E.

We do not feel safe, his parents do not feel safe, I do not feel safe, I fear my sensitivity information is not safe, and I fear my safety is at risk. It was horrible timing we happened to be on the same back road as one another, and unfortunately, it may cost his life. I don't know what to do, my family doesn't know what to do, and neither does his. We are considering moving to a different location, or even state to avoid these people after we do what we can.

I will be taking time off of social media, and will be rarely online to message select individuals, besides that, this account will become inactive until further notice. Until everything is settled, this blog will be repurposed for updates on the situation and for when I choose to return.

Please reach out to me if you have any ideas on what we should do moving forward for our safety. Please reblog to help me get this out.

google says there are dewgongs in Australia but I thought that was a Pokémon?

i just googled dewgongs, it is a type of pokémon and its really cute :)

the animal that lives in australia is a DUgong, which is spelled differently and they look like this

i’ve seen them before in Shark Bay, WA, and they live around the northern and eastern coast of australia. they’re large mammals that eat seagrass with their square-shaped faces. i think maybe the DEWgong pokémon is named after them??

ur canadian summers are like aussie winters, in summer here it can get up to 45 C, sometimes higher

HEAD OF THE RIVER UPDATEEEE long yap ahead be warned :) it’s really long so i’ll put it under the cut bc i know not everyone is interested in rowing lolll

so if u didn’t see my other post, yesterday was head of the river for my rowing club and it was FREEZING COLD and rainy and windy but despite that we did pretty well!!

for my VIII race, a lot of people in my crew were away so some really bad rowers had to be moved up… i was 7 seat and there was soooo much rush it’s not even funny like everyone was out of time and it was terrible. also one girl crabbed at the start and we had to STOP THE ENTIRE BOAT so she could get her oar back. we almost caught up to the other crews but in the end we came last… i was really disappointed but i had to go straight to my quad race after that.

my quad race went AMAZINGLYYY we came second!! and beat our rival club!!! i was in stroke seat and everyone was in time and giving their best effort and we were so happy afterwards! :) our coach was so happy too

i saw the pretty girl from the other club again… we did the eye contact looking over at each other at the start line thing but i didn’t actually talk to her :( … i saw her in line to buy food but she was with her friends and i was way too scared. so i guess ill probably never see her again

overall my club came 3rd!!! out of 7 clubs btw

after head of the river ended we went back to the shed to transport boats and oars and riggers, and then i had an hour before i had the head of the river dinner for my rowing club

it was fancyyyyyy like multiple sets of cutlery fancy. my friend had to explain it to me. we got photos with our coaches and gave them gifts and our coach gave us little cards with our rowing photos printed out and a little message and it was so cute and mine now sits on my desk :)

here are some photos, the ones with the obnoxious blue jackets is from the head of river dinner, we had to wear school uniform (i’m the ranga one btw)

i’m gonna miss rowing now that this season is over… it’s been my first regatta season and i’ve loved it so much. it’s the first sport i’ve actually enjoyed and i love my crew so much.

and we definitely aren’t a cult :)

hiii i’m Ella and i had a bf and at first i thought he was really nice… then he joined my art class just to see me (even tho he is reeeeallyyy bad at art) and kept touching my arm even when i told him not to and trying to kiss me even after i told him to stop. like during the class. one time after that art class i was excitedly rambling to him about a competition i had won that day and he GRABBED MY ARM to interrupt me, asked me if his mum was outside (she was so i nodded, i literally froze and didn’t speak) and then he started to lead me down the hallway and started to touch me and hug me and make out with me without my consent. and i was suuuuuper uncomfortable and i told him to stop but he kept going. and also a few kids from my art class could see us. so i RAN home and then afterwards he made me feel bad about leaving.

there are a LOT of other terrible things he did, but my parents still think he’s a ‘nice guy’ who just ‘isn’t as mature as you’ which frustrates me so much. now i’m terrified to go to my art class and embarrassed i even liked him in the first place and super angry at the double standards placed on us!!
