I was reading the Iliad when I realized it was time for Patroclus's funeral. Anyway, Patroclus shows up at his own funeral to tell Achilles to have his ashes and Patroclus mixed together in the same jar, kind of like those married couples having graves next to each other.

So, I hope you enjoy your food and using to spice up your materials in fan fiction or pictures.

Illiad: Leto vs. Hera

Alright, I am currently reading the Iliad. I am on Book 21, where after Hera has beaten Artemis, she goes over to Leto and says she would never attack a wife of Zeus.

Which is weird because according to the birth story of Artemis and Apollo, Hera had kidnapped the goddess of childbirth, Eileithyia. Forcing Leto to give birth on the island of Delos because the children she was carrying where Zeus and she doesn't like the mistress of Zeus.

So, why are they so chill with each other in the Iliad? Does the term wife of Zeus mean that Leto was married to Zeus before Hera?

Acorn is the last guinea pig on our list and was a lead sow before Spark arrived. She is often compassionate and deeply cares about what other guinea pigs think about her whether it is about rethinking about her life choices, or worried others are judging them. During the beginning, she was thinking about wandering off and or thinking about her best friend Lake, and Moon. Or their lost love, Storm.

Blizzard, Badger, Thunder, and Lightning are orphaned pups of Snake with an unknown sow, and Dog’s pups share in the custom of naming pups after their parents�� fears. Despite having outside connections with anyone in the clan, the pups have shown a variety of personalities. Including: Blizzard, who is nervous yet has a sense of cunning resulting in pranks, Badger, who is bouncy yet has a constant hunger for food, Thunder is impulsive and constant under guinea pig feet, and Lightning is noisy and is often fussy, resulting in tantrums.,

Dog is one of our founders and has a really good relationship with their medicine cat, Lake, since Dog often tells Lake about the guinea pigs that had arrived in the endless sleep. However, due her strong connection with the endless sleep and her playful personality, she is often not well liked within the clan especially with their leader, Spark and Moon. She had been given Creek as an apprentice as an attempt to keep her loyalty within her clan especially when she had pups with an outsider mate.  

Spider and Flight are Dog’s biological pups with an unknown boar and are named after a custom of naming guinea pigs after the fears of their parents. Spider and Flight are close for siblings especially after their brother, Dark had taken to endless sleep. Spider is a medium-furred pale gray smoke sow is noisy while her sister is a medium-furred black bicolor sow is quiet.

Green, one of the first of pups to be born in camp, belongs to Moon and unknown partner along with Creek and Oak. Then was later apprenticed to Spark. He was a sweet guinea pig that later turned into a calm and fantastic hunter. In his youth he was quite lazy and nervous. He was overlooked by Spark, who was the lead boar at the time, afraid that the young boar would one day challenge him for the herd. The two of them actually have a good relationship and on their first patrol they had found the guinea pig and understood his leader's attempts of protection, Violet. Later in the year, he spends time with his family and is eagerly waiting to become a full grown member of the herd with his sisters.

Creek is another pup of Moon and then apprenticed to Dog. She was another sweet guinea pig that later turned into a confident and good fighter. In her youth, she was desperate to prove herself but was limited to her naive and childish imagination. She had later grown out of her shell when she was apprenticed to Dog by running away from cats, thunderpath, and training with Violet. However, she was later imitated by her leader by helping to kill Snake with Spark and Green. Right now, she is interested in spending time with Dog, Moon, and her siblings as full members of the herd. 

Oak was Fern’s apprentice and was a noisy guinea pig, which lines up with normal guinea pigs. As a young guinea pig. She was usually gloomy or irritated with either siblings or other herd members by annoying them, sharpening her teeth, or chattering at them. She was later given to Fern and changed from noisy to loyal. She had an easy apprenticeship with Fern that made sure that everyone in the herd benefited from her help, including making sure that everyone had eaten, finding places to sun themselves, and entertaining Bean with his grass obsession.

Fern is the second addition to the herd after Spark and Moon had found her on the road while they were on patrol. Despite being the herd for a recent time, she has a deep respect and longs for a connection with her clanmates to the point that many of her herd members wondered if she had ever met another guinea pig before. So, she had been trying and succeeding to get into the good graces of her clanmates, including taking on Oak as an apprentice and helping with Dog and Moon with their pups. She is very friendly and loyal, and willing to take on any burden necessary to maintain being in a herd.

This is another guinea pig that Spark had found along with Dog and Fern with their apprentices is Violet. She is a long furry dark brown tricolor sow. Despite being in the clan for a short amount of time, Violet has quickly cemented herself as a very dominant sow with settling disputes and with big dreams of becoming the dominant sow with her own pups.

Bean is currently the oldest herd member that is not in a position of power, at around 3.58 years old, and his the only other boar in the current group. Despite his age and rank, he is very young and has a mutual crush on Spark, which makes many of the sows nervous for the future. He has been a vulnerable group member and arrived very early in the year, which is even more interesting because he is usually a lonesome boar. Another interesting thing to note is that Bean has been the only herd member interested in the strange grasses that the herd consumes, which the humans spray with bottles.

Lake is currently the ‘medicine cat’ of the herd, but I would like to change the name for several reasons that I would not like to get into right now. So, please give your suggestions in the comments below for a new name. Anyway, Lake is wise and is probably the brains out of the leadership positions in the herd, which is very much needed. She was probably chosen as the ‘medicine cat’ due to her traits as well as her care and interest in her herd members' health and happiness. However, interestingly, even though many of her herd members had gone to endless sleep, she could not wake them up nor communicate with them. I would like to see her become a more fleshed-out character in the upcoming years.

Moon is the lead sow of the herd and works closely with her good friend and lead boar, Spark. While Spark is protective but territorial, Moon is almost feral and brash but is cunning enough with her words that she hardly gets in trouble. Moon joined the herd while she was expecting three pups which were Green, Creek and Oak which is why she was chosen as lead sow but she has low self esteem and constantly doubts herself. During her patrols she had arguments with another sow named Dog, watched her friends Midge and Storm die to a bunch of rogues

Spark is the lead boar of the herd and is often loving to those under him, especially since he has a deep connection to teaching younger guinea pigs how to survive in their world. Similar to lead boars, he is often brash and will defend his herd with his life, especially when finding Fern and Violet in their herd. However, due to his rank and position as lead boar and protector, he is often territorial and conventional with outsider male loners or house pets, leading to him killing the loner Snake and taking his litter of young pups.

When I was around 8-10 years old, the last Harry Potter Movies were coming out. A lot of the children in my grade were trying to read them before they watched the movies. Anyway, I wanted to fit in and be like other kids. Anyway, I started the Philosopher's Stone. However, I had a horrible attention span and had problems reading. So, I had to force myself to read the book and settle down for something interesting to happen. So, when I was reading the end of the book, where Harry gets saved by his mother's love, and didn't have the action scenes I was waiting for. I got so angry that I threw the book against the wall, and my mom told me off a possibly damaging a library book.

An updated design of a dragon was done in 2019. It is a combination of an eyelash viper, cobras, with some dragon-inspired spikes.
