Conversations with friends is another example of an adaptation being better than the book, at least in my opinion. I don't know what it is but the book was agonizing to read, the story itself is not a pleasurable one, I know, but it's beyond jus the storyline agonizing, I can't explain, whilst the tv shows is still painful it doesn't make me wanna throw my tv like the book did.

I don't know if it's controversial or not but One Direction and Måneskin are kinda the same band but in different fonts.

Hear me out...

Who were the guys from One Direction before X-Factor? Dreamers, regular British boys like any other...When they made it what were their songs about? Lovesick teenagers, broken girls feeling unworthy, not being enough for someone...

What were people from Måneskin before X-Factor? Dreamers, outcasts from Italy, people who kinda had a hard time fitting in. What are their songs about? Being an outcast, feeling different than everyone else, feeling like a burden, not feeling worthy, being lost in the big world.

Both bands got popular because of their charisma/charm/attractiveness and the fact that they are relatable to mass (and the promotion but you know what I mean).
