Yes.  Hello, to all who remain.
Been awhile...
Not sure anyone follows these blogs anymore.  I suppose the two of us did just drop off the face of the earth.  Well, didn’t exactly.  We’ve been busy.  I have a bit of a thriving practice here now, and Sherlock’s been solving some local cases, as well as a few back in London.
Watson’s growing like a weed.  Ada and Cat are both well, and continue to enjoy all the space they have here.
So how are all of you?

Hello! I was so glad to see you two posting again :) How are you all? Ada and Cat both seem to know how to make the most of life ;)
We are all very well.  It feels as though summer is properly coming at last.
Watson has started an art class for children her age in Seaford.  She goes three mornings a week, and the wall over our sofa, which we reserve for her art, is growing very full indeed.
John has opened the surgery.  It is open Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9:00 - 16:00.  He has been very tired on the evenings after he’s had to work, but they don’t have many patients yet, nothing like the London surgery, so he says it has been a good way to ease back into running a practice.  He has also started taking many of our old case notes, and his blog entries, and working at setting it all down in book format.  He seems to be enjoying the process a great deal.
The bees seem to be doing very well.  I spend any free time I have in the evenings tending to the hives, I will still wait until next year to harvest any honey, but they seem healthy and productive.
So yes, we keep very busy, and are all very content.
Mrs. Hudson contacted us last week, and asked us if we would mind if she let 221b to to Connie and India.  They have been living in the basement flat all this time, and John and I are rarely there anymore, and likely will not be permanently returning to London.  I must admit, I felt more than a twinge of sentiment at the thought of letting it go, but it probably is for the best, and we feel great peace of mind with Connie and India there with Mrs. Hudson.  We told her that she could go ahead and let them have it.  Both John and I have been ridiculously emotional about it this week, but I’m sure it will pass.
Mrs. Hudson will come to us in early July for a two week visit.  Watson is already very excited about it, and has been drawing her a great many pieces, and has also been taking her favourite plush toys and leaving them on the bed in the guest room for Mrs. Hudson to have when she gets here.  I do believe that Watson sees Mrs. Hudson as more of a grandmother than she does my actual mother who Watson has only met a small handful of times.
So, that is all the news here.  I do hope that you are well, as well.

Hello Sherlock, how are you all doing? Has Cat grown bigger? I hope you have proper spring weather at last and that you're feeling better from the accident with the bees.
It was quite warm early last week, but it has gotten cooler again.  Not cold, but markedly cooler than it was.  My stings are all but healed, yes.
Cat is growing in leaps and bounds.  He is becoming braver, and I believe he may be quite the adventurer in due course.  He’s started climbing on everything.  On Friday he climbed half way up the curtains in the lounge and got stuck.  He hung there yowling piteously until John ran in to rescue him.  He is a ridiculous cat.

Hello. Have the bee injuries healed at all? I hope so. How are you all doing, anything fun happening this weekend? :) I’ve mainly been relaxing, which felt necessary even though my life isn’t very stressful. Sometimes I just need more me time.
Yes, the bee stings have healed, and I have been allowed back to my hives.  They are coming along quite well, keeping very busy and getting themselves established.
Watson is fascinated with the bees, so we have been teaching her bee safety, and I’ve ordered her a little bee-keeping suit, so she can get close and watch when I am tending the hives.
We went to the seaside yesterday, and had a brisk yet enjoyable walk around the beach.  Watson collected many shells.  Ada enjoyed a dip in the waves, and even Cat came along on a leash.  He was decidedly anti-wave, but he did seem to enjoy sniffing about around the tidal pools.

I’m very sorry about your bee incident :/ I hope the pain isn’t unbearable. I’m sure John just wants you to recover properly... but I can understand feeling anxious to get back to your bees. I hope peace returns soon.
John says I’m being ridiculous, but he did make me some chocolate custard, so I’ve considered forgiving him for now.

Hello, how are you today after yesterday's accident with the bees? I just hope you're not too uncomfortable.
I’m hideous.  And John won’t let me go out and check on the hives until I’m better, so he suited up, and I had to shout instructions at him from across the garden.  He’s being ridiculous.  I’m quite angry with him.

Hello :) have your bees arrived yet? I’m excited for you! How are you all? I’ve been waiting to send you an ask about dog encounters, but I haven’t really had any, unfortunately. Tomorrow I’m going for a walk though, maybe I’ll have some luck.
Yes, my bees have arrived, and they seem to be taking to the hive quite well.
As I’m sure you’ve seen by now, I endeavoured to transfer some from the wall of our woodshed to another hive this morning and it all went a bit wrong.  Apparently I’m not to try again unless I have an assistant.  John insists.

Yes, alright.
Hello Sherlock. This morning when I went to the bakery I met a lovely dog called Freya that looked exactly like your Ada, and that encounter made me think of you. Hope you all are doing fine and having a pleasant Sunday. Here it's sunny for the first time in ages. I hope you have nice spring weather too :)
How enjoyable for you.
Our Sunday has been relatively uneventful.

No, John.  I’m sorry.  I should have taken more of a care.

I know how to do it!  I’ve studied it extensively.  There was just a--slight mishap.
Besides, getting stung is good.  I’ll build up immunity.
