Alexey Razumovsky,a favorite of Empress Elizabeth Petrovna,acquired these lands in the middle of the 18th century.

He completely rebuilt the palace, laid out a park with a cascade of ponds, and also equipped a botanical garden and a greenhouse with exotic plants, which was called the “Miracle of Moscow”

Unfortunately, after the death of Alexei Razumovsky, the heirs did not continue his work and literally sold off in parts, everything that he had amassed during his life.

The next owner of the estate was Nikolai Yusupov, who took from the estate to his Arkhangelsk estate, what the heirs did not sell, and sold the estate itself to Nikolai Volkov, who organized a paper factory here.

In Soviet times, the estate housed an orphanage and a sanatorium "Red Rose". It is surprising that for such a stormy but sad history, the main manor house itself has been well preserved. Only the Western Gallery is in a ruined state. According to rumors, the manor house was bought by a certain deputy for 1 ruble, under the obligation of restoration.
