Going on a writing hiatus

Hello my lovely friends and readers! As most of you know, I am currently writing on the third and final book in the Angelheart Saga series. Unfortunately, I have been delayed and am so far behind my schedule that I have decided to go on a writing hiatus for a couple of months. To keep myself focused I feel that I need to take a step back from social media, bookstagram challenges, reviewing other books and all other fun things I tend to do instead of writing and concentrate all of my time and energy solely on my writing.

But, it’s not bad news really! It means that I will be back soon and then with the final book about Erica, Sasha, Tyler, Danny and Ricky and all the others in the Angelheart Saga series! Until then, take care all my wonderful bookworms and see you soon!

My Friday reading tips this week is the amazing, beautiful, gripping, emotional and heartfelt Salt for Air by @mcfrankauthor.

This is such a touching story about a bullied girl, who writes fanfiction to escape her miserable reality, only to find herself rescued by the merman in her own stories. And who finds the strength to believe in herself again, to be both the person she was before the bullying changed her and a new different, stronger one.

This is the type of story that breaks your heart and mends it at the same time. It is an amazing and emotional fairytale with such an important underlying message. It’s a book that you will not easily forget.

I totally adored this book and recommend it with all my heart! ❤️❤️❤️

My Friday reading tips this week is the adorable, sweet and quirky feel-good YA romance To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before by @jennyhan. I flew through the pages of this cute chic-lit love story, not able to put it down until I’ve read it all. Lara Jean is now one of my favorite characters ever, and I absolutely love the Song family dynamics. This book is just as much about family bonding as it is about teenage crushes. Today I did my first attempt to participate in #swapwednesday, and it was quite harder than I thought... Well, anyway, in case you don't know what this is, you take inspiration by another bookstagrammer's photo and try to recreate it in your own style. I tried to swap Julcsi's (@jayinbookland) gorgeous photo, which is one of my absolute favorite photos of Forever Disguised ever, with a similar photo of The Cruel Prince by Holly Black. What do you think? Did I get it anywhere near right…?

So, here is my list of favorite male characters/book boyfriends:

1. Baz in Carry On by @rainbowrowelll - oh, how I love Baz. I love that you didn’t know what to expect from him in the beginning, thinking that he might be the villain, a snobby bully, but how he developed through the story to this absolutely amazing, funny and wonderful person.

2. Wes Spencer in Lose Me by @mcfrankauthor – I immediately fell in love with this strikingly good looking, arrogant, bad boy with a heart of gold. And he’s a bookworm! Just saying! (And did you know that @mcfrankauthor released her new book Salt for Air just yesterday? Head over to her account to check it out!)

3. Monty in The Gentleman’s Guide to Vice and Virtue by Mackenzi Lee. Love him so much and am so looking forward to meeting him and my sweetheart Percy again (Monty and Percy being my favorite bookish OTP!)

4. Rhys in the ACOTAR series by @sarahjmaasbooks - especially in ACOMAF, he completely blew me away there... I remember calling him “the hottest, most bad-ass feminist ever” in my review...

5. Prince Elian in To Kill A Kingdom by @alexandrachristo. I love this slow burning love story, where Prince Elian and siren princess Lira goes from deadly enemies, to... something else entirely... This book is a masterpiece!

Anyone else excited about the finale of the Dark Artifices series?! Queen of Air and Darkness by @cassandraclare is definitely one my most eagerly awaited releases this year!!! Can’t wait to see what will happen to my favorite OTP and if Jules and Emma will get their HEA.
