Quitting, kind of
COLIN: I refuse to say anything bad about Hannah. She's a wonderful person and has helped me through a lot. But certain personal things have lead me to resign from my involvement with her, and I no longer feel welcome as a part of this blog. Thank you very much. You can reach me personally at @faerieinapocketwatch if you need me. Take care, and I would thank you for your continued loyalty to this blog as it is a wonderful classpect blog and will continue to be without my involvement.

What quadrants are most likely in a session containing a Knight of Hope, a Witch of Doom, a Mage of Time, and an Heir of Space?
HANNAH: Everything looks good to me! Your knight of hope will be the leader, keeping everyone’s spirits high. The Witch of Doom is a great addition to any session, able to manipulate the doom (entropy, death, acceptance, and necessity) in her session and increase the chance of success (just don’t piss her off - witches, when provoked, are extremely dangerous, especially in the case of doom). The Mage of time is haunted/blessed with knowledge of timelines, and must witness and learn from the doomed timelines they see, and use their knowledge as the team’s strategist. The Heir of Space is the heart of the team, a great duo with the knight. They will breed the frog together, and motivate the team together. The universe they make is almost guaranteed success, so long as they make it there.

Hey,could you please do a session with a Seer of Space, Mage of Mind, Prince of Void, Knight of Doom and Heir of Light?
HANNAH: Everything looks good, sans one thing - there’s no time player! Time players are unnecessary for a successful session, however; you won’t be able to scratch should anything go wrong.
Leader: Heir of LightSupport: Prince of voidStrategist: Mage of mind
The Heir of light is naturally a people person, and will be good at getting the team together and motivating them. The major motivating will come from the prince of void, who will help the session from becoming null, while also keeping their teammates from secrets and obscurity by destroying void. The Mage of Mind will be the major strategist, though sometimes their knowledge of thoughts and choice may backfire on them.
For the frog breeding, the Seer will do a good job, especially when assisted by the Knight of doom. The seer has knowledge of space, which will be useful in breeding the frogs, while the knight can keep the seer away from the negative and doomed frogs.
Hope this helps!

Can you do an analysis of a prince of doom?
HANNAH: No problem!
The prince class destroys their aspect, while doom is the aspect of entropy, death, acceptance, and necessity.
Princes have a tendancy to act as their opposite aspect, in this case life, which would make a Prince of Doom rather energetic and optimistic. This happens so that the prince can actively destroy their own aspect, doom (as opposed to the bard, who invites the destruction of their aspect).
Their personal mission is to destroy the doom in their session, while using their natural optimism and energy to lead the team. This classpect would most definitely be the leader of their session, though that depends what other classpects are in with them. There mere presence would greatly increase a session’s chance of success, as they destroy the session’s “doom”.
Though they can figuratively destroy doom in its manifestations of pessimism and necessity, it’s hard to tell how literal powers would manifest, as the two examples we have seen thus far in the comic were not realized in their classpects. If doom is death, perhaps they could revive players by destroying the death in them?
Hope this helps!

Alright, I know you've done this classpect a bunch, but could you do like an overall analysis of the Mage of Void? And if you do planets, would the Land of Mystery and Ambiance be good for said Mage?
HANNAH: Oh boy, have I seen this guy a lot. Each time results in a general reaction of “Suck to be this guy”, but that’s not really the case.
A Mage is one who actively understands their aspect, while Void is the aspect of nothingness, ignorance, irrelevance, and obscurity.
The horrorterrors have a knack for turning anybody who delves too deep into their bidding grimdark. The Mage has a deep understanding of the workings of the void and the ring of horrorterrors. This puts the Mage at a one of the highest risks of becoming grimdark, right off the bat.
However, I don’t think this would change the Mage much. They already had an affinity for void, and their grimdark state might barely affect them, or not change them all-together. Their deep understanding of the void would give them almost total control over their state. Perhaps the Mage them self wouldn’t even realize they were grimdark, or if they did, they would be able to control it, and use it as an almost super-powered dark side.
Sans grimdarkness, a Mage of void would not manifest many void-y abilities, as with Roxy. Their classpects abilities are what grant them such a deep understanding of the void - I imagine they would be able to navigate the void as if it were nothing (ba-dum tsh).
As for your planet, I’ve never really done planet asks, so I’m not sure. For my own planet, the Land of Song and Storm, I used the Page of Hope’s guide, so that’s what I would recommend.
Hope this helps!

Heya! It's nice to see you guys again! I would like to ask for analysis on a session! The members of the session include Knight of Space, Witch of Time, Page of Mind, Thief of Hope, and a Seer of Blood! How would this session likely go? Thanks!
HANNAH: The session looks good, although I do have two concerns.
The Knight of Space is all alone on their mission to breed the frog. On top of that, they must protect their session, and have brought a lack of creativity, impatience, and general space to their session.
Two, the thief of hope is a scary classpect. Someone who takes away hope from others entirely for themselves. I imagine a boastful hero, who wants everybody to believe in them, but in doing so would put down those around them, even if inadvertently. They would mark themselves as the leader.
Even so, the Witch of time will be able to jump around timelines and fix the timeline, the page of mind will be an excellent strategist and backup leader to the Seer of Blood, who is the true leader of the session.
Hope this helps!

Does your position on the Active/Passive scale affect your chances of winning in a strife against another player? For example would a Witch of Time (-6) be more likely to win in a strife against a Seer of Hope (+2)?
HANNAH: this is such an interesting question! I don’t think it would, because the “activeness” and “passiveness” of a class has nothing to do with strifes and combat, but rather, how “selfish” or “generous” a class is. Well, generous isn’t the right word, but I always substitute “Active” as “selfish”, because.. It kind of is. Active mean that a certain class uses their aspect entirely first hand, while passive classes receive their aspect. So really;
Active = first hand use of aspectPassive = second hand use of aspect
Going with your example, a witch (-6) uses time directly, while a seer (+2) understands hope. This only tells us HOW a class uses their aspect.
That said, a witch of time has the ability to travel through time freely, while a seer of hope has knowledge of optimism and belief. Out of those two, the witch has the upper hand - at least, at first glance.
HOWEVER, it all depends on how skilled one is with their classpect. Maybe the seer of hope, fully realized with a deep understanding, knows just what buttons to push to make the witch give up and loose hope? It is more a matter of how skilled someone is with their classpect, as opposed to how active/passive their classpect is.

Could I get an analysis on Knight of Void?
HANNAH: no problem!
A Knight is someone who protects with their aspect, in this case, void, the aspect of nothingness, ignorance, irrelevance, and obscurity.
A knight’s presence is responsible for a lack of their aspect in their session. This would make a very open minded and clear session, as it would lack void. I don’t imagine anyone would go grimdark in the knight’s session, save for maybe the knight themselves. They would, themselves, be secretive when it came to their mission, but perhaps be very open with their teammates.
In their effort to protect the team WITH void, they may indulge in consulting with the furthest ring, and use secrets and darkness to protect their teammates. However, they could also protect their team FROM void, which could manifest as the horrorterrors creeping in, and the knight fighting them off.
The Knights role is to help the Space Player breed the frog, as well as completing their personal quest (which varies from player to player). They will do well in keeping the genesis frog free of darkness and taint, as well as being good help in locating, perhaps, hidden frogs. They will be a good asset to their space player.
In terms of powers, I imagine the knight would be good at disappearing, literally and figuratively turning into void. Invisibility, intangibility. Perhaps they could wield grimdark weapons, without turning grimdark themselves?
Hope this helps!

Could you analyze a Lord of Hope who will protect his friends at all cost and can be really strong and quick when angered. Sorry if that's to much info. (love your blog btw)
HANNAH: I’m not too terribly familiar with the lord class. We’ve only seen one instance of it in canon, and know it to be the most active (selfish) class. Hope, we know to be one of the potentially strongest aspects. Those combined would create a force to be reckoned with. Luckily the aspect of hope seems to manifest in mostly docile, optimistic and encouraging people, which could either hinder their progress to “rule” over their aspect, or help them conquer and claim it as their own. I imagine them a bit like a legendary hero, a white knight in shining armor. The term “do no harm but take no shit” comes to mind - fool them once, shame on you, but they won’t let you fool them twice. Don’t piss them off.

Update: Kat is now Colin
COLIN: over my recent absence, I have been doing a lot of thinking, and decided it was time to come out to my friends and family that I am transgender. I’ve been going to gender therapy for a while, I have a binder now, and I dress as a male, and my hair is short. It was incredibly well received, my family and my community at school has not given me any hostility regarding my gender identity. I will be creating an updated Sprite shortly. Please respect my decision to make this transition public to the followers of another-classpect-blog. Thank you.

What would happen if someone doesn't know their classpect?
They can either take a test (I reccomend Page of Hope’s - it’s lengthy but fairly accurate) or submit a personality description to a classpect blog and let the blogger give their opinion on a person’s classpect

Ask box is cleared
At least, anything concerning me. Meaning all sessions, classpects, and strifes have been deleted from the ask box, and I cannot vouch for what Colin will do about the many quadrants gathered there.
Anything submitted after the post i made about clearing the ask box is safe. I’m going to open sessions again, but i’m putting a cap on 6 members per session. Please don’t take that to mean just submit 2 or more 6 member sessions, that’s just exhausting and will probably get put off. Still up for asks about strifes, and classpects in general though

Hannah is back from the dead
And she has seen how filled the ask box is. Oh my god. Well. Some of those have been in there for.. a while, to say the least, and i feel bad about it, but my life has been pretty hectic for the past couple months and I just haven’t gotten around to clearing out the ask box.
I’m thinking of deleting all the messages in the ask box - at least, the ones that concern me. If I did this, I could reopen sessions, and if not, sessions would remain closed until I finish the current ones, which could range from weeks to indefinite pause again. Wiping clean the ask box would help me jumpstart this dead blog again, and though I feel bad for everyone who’s had an ask in, I’m just too tired, mentally and physically, to answer all of them right now. If no one replies to this, I will probably just clear it and start from scratch.
Reminder: Sessions are CLOSED
bolded because some people don’t bother to check
So, should I wipe clean the ask box?

I am so sorry to send this so soon after my last ask, but what would happen if a session has 1 Time player, 2 Space players, and 1 Hope player? (Seer of Time, Mage of Space, Rogue of Space, and Heir of Hope.)
One of the space players would die. Repeating classes are fine (it’s how they interact with their aspect), but multiple people cannot interact with the same aspect successfully. Since mages get harmed by their aspect, the Mage is probably doomed.
