Built in the year 1913, the Ripon Building is the official seat of the Chennai Corporation and is painted white as a representation of Indo-Saracenic architecture. Situated close to the Chennai Railway Station, it was constructed by Loganatha Mudaliar and was named after Lord Ripon who was the then Governor General of British India. This royal building is rectangular in shape with a 43 meters tower that has a 2.5 meter clock. Also known as Westminster Chiming Clock, this has been the main attraction of the building ever since it was built. It has a mechanical key system that is checked every day. Apart from that, four bells also form a part of the building. Structured as three-storey, the flooring of the ground floor was initially done by Cuddapah Slate and later replaced by marble. Sita Temple at Sitamarhi also known as Sita Samahit Sthal is situated almost midway between Allahabad and Varanasi. It is about 40 Kms from.Varanasi on the National Highway No.2 while travelling from Varanasi to Allahabad. However, the deviation road which is 18 kms from the National Highway is good and little shaky. It is also connected with Allahabad and Varanasi railway line with Jungiganj, the nearest railway station, it is a well known Hindu pilgrimage and a good tourist spot. It is said that this is the place where Mata Sita went into the earth. She asked Her mother (the earth) to take Her into her lap. She left behind Her two sons Luv and Kush whom Lord Rama took to the Great Ayodhya empire. As we enter the temple, we see the structure like idol of Maa Sita cladden in a white saree. Below this floor is the place where Maa Sita went into the Earth. Surrendering the place has a beautiful garden.and a lake This is a nice and quiet place and a must visit place. केवटी का किला (keoti fort) मध्यप्रदेश के रीवा शहर में स्थित है। यह रीवा शहर के सिरमौर नगर परिषद में स्थित है। यह किला सिरमौर से करीब 12 किलोमीटर दूर है और केवटी जलप्रपात (keoti fall) से करीब 2 किलोमीटर दूर है केवटी का किला (keoti fort) मध्यप्रदेश राज्य द्वारा एक संरक्षित स्मारक है। इस किलें को देखने के लिए दूर दूर से लोग आते है। यह किला दो मंजिला है। इस किले का निर्माण महाना नदी के किनारे हुआ था। इस किले से केवटी झरनें (keoti fall) का दृश्य लाजबाब होता है। इस किलें का निर्माण रीवा के महाराजा के द्वारा किया गया था। केवटी का किला (keoti fort) जब आप पहुंच��े हैं, तो आपको यहां का भव्य प्रवेश द्वार देखने मिलता है। इस प्रवेश द्वार में बहुत ही खूबसूरत नक्काशी की गई है। यह पर आपको पत्थर पर निर्मित कलाकृतियां देखने मिलती है। इस किलें में एक आयताकार कक्ष है, जिसका उपयोग शायद दीवाने खास के रूप में किया जाता होगा। केवटी का किला (keoti fort) में दोनों तरफ बुर्ज भी बनाए गए हैं, जो सुरक्षा की दृष्टि से बहुत ही महत्वपूर्ण है। इन बुर्ज से सेना आसपास के किलें की निगरानी किया करती थी। पूरे किले में बहुत सारें कमरें देखने मिलते है, जो अब खंडहर में तबदील हो गए हैं। इसके अलावा यहां पर आपके देखने के लिए और भी बहुत सारी प्राचीन चीजें है, जिनका उपयोग प्राचीन समय में होता था। यह पर एक तेल निकलनी की पुरानी प्रणाली की मशीन है, जिसे कोलू कहा जाता है। इसमें बैलों को एक वृताकर घेर में घुमाया जाता है और उनसे तेल निकाला जाता था। यहां पर राजा रानी के रहने के लिए अलग-अलग निवास स्थान थे। केवटी का किला (keoti fort) के पिछले भाग में ऊपर से आपको केवटी जलप्रपात (keoti fall) की पूरी घाटी देखने मिल जाती है। यहां से आपको जलप्रपात भी देखने मिलता है। केवटी के पिछले भाग में जालिया लगा दी गई है, ताकि कोई भी इस घाटी में गिर न जाए। आप किले के पिछले भाग से केवटी जलप्रपात, भैरव बाबा का मंदिर और राम जानकी का मंदिर भी देख सकते हैं। यह जगह बहुत अच्छी है और प्राकृतिक के साथ-साथ ऐतिहासिक भी है, (at Keyoti Qila) https://www.instagram.com/p/CQVEop6lAWx/?utm_medium=tumblr

Purwa Falls Falling from a height of 70 meters, Purwa fall is a sight for the sore eyes. Another classic example of a Knickpoint is sure to interest the geography enthusiasts. Purwa falls is also descent off the Rewa plateau and the water is sourced from Tamsa or Tons river. There are stories associated with this fall in the Hindu epic Ramayana which is a wonderful picnic spot today. It is one of the top five waterfalls in Rewa district and a must-visit place for everyone to admire the unique topography.
