This is not a horror novel, it’s a middle-grade fantasy, in the same vein as Wizard’s Guide to Defensive Baking, although shorter and I think lighter, so if you just need something fluffy and cozy to unwind with that will not force you to grapple with trauma or cause you to develop any new phobias, I think this one’s safe! Probably!

theres a hole in the wall in my brothers’ room because they were fighting (for fun not anger) in there once and one of them knocked the other into the wall so hard his head made that hole, so they put two small skeletons in there for decoration

I've got to know, was this done intentionally? The complimentary covers with Aziraphale and Crowley, your names in different orders?

It was intentional, yes. It was so that whether you looked on the P shelf or the G shelf you would still find a copy of Good Omens. Also Terry wanted the black cover because he felt it would be cooler.

my mother, completely deadpan: well are they reviewing the theatrical release or director's cut.

thinking about early in the book when nonas like "ugh itd be so EMBARRASSING to have another tantrum :(" then when we actually see nona have a tantrum it is like. body horror ripping and tearing and bleeding

well see it’s because the entire concept of what people “deserve” is a messy ethical quagmire that has really troubling implications no matter how you use it

but also it’s because i like fictional miserable little assholes and i do what i want
