Meet Kirsten recolored in my Winter by the Sea Palette

More! More! This time I recolored both versions of @linzlu's Meet Kirsten redux set, which I absolutely love but which has far too few swatches for my taste. I recolored the aproned and apronless dresses in my usual palette, and added in an accessory to recolor the apron (found in the bracelets section.)

Doyle Legacy 1890s - 1900s LOOKBOOK

Helena Doyle Harrington 1890s - 1900s

Babies first Lookbook!😀

Helena's upbringing was marked by poverty, stemming from the loss of her mother. This hardship led her to turn to prostitution for survival. However, her future husband Eddy, rescued her from a dangerous encounter with a violent client, allowing her to leave that life behind.

Together, they transformed an abandoned hunting shed into a functioning farm for their family.

Known affectionately as "Dove," Which is a pet name given to her since she worked as a painted lady. The color red became symbol for Helena since she adopted it as her signature, using the color to accentuate her vibrant hair and attract clientele during her time in the sex work industry.

Even after transitioning from a sex worker to a devoted wife I kept that color in mind each time she got an updated wardrobe.

The Harringtons lived poorly which is also why some of Helena's outfits seem out of date for time, she utilized her knowledge of previous decades sewing patterns to make clothes for herself.

I used up every outfit slot in CAS and I'd rather not overwhelm myself so instead I chose my favorites to share!

Now we have our own farm and Kit doesn’t spend dawn to dusk tending someone else’s fields, I thought I would have him around more of the day, but he works just as hard out in our fields, so I am still largely left to my own devices all day. I suppose it's a small price to pay for living here -- some days I still have to pinch myself! You know I love Rook's Rest dearly, but I fear Maple Farm has somewhat surpassed it in my heart. I've dreamed of a home to raise my family in, and now that dream has finally come true.

Dear, how I've rambled! With the infrequency of my letters I'm sure you're rather more eager for news than my musings on life, though the new home surely qualifies as news. In other news I am growing larger every day (though each day I think I can't get any bigger!), and more and more eager to meet Baby. I do wish that you could be there when the time comes, but I know that it is a long journey to make, especially as winter draws in. I would come myself if I was in the condition to, as it's been far too long since we saw each other.

Please give my love to Uncle Thomas, and of course Billy, Eleanor and Josie. I promise I shan't get so behind on my letters again!

I wonder who that is...👀

I don't want to count my chicken before they hatch but, perhaps I spoke too quickly making that goodbye Doyle Legacy post.

While cleaning out my folders preparing to leave everything behind I found a VERY VERY OLD gameplay save, a save where Lucile was barley an infant.

I've aged her up manually hoping to avoid the infants bug she got that caused her to corrupt my game so horribly.

So I took that baby Lucile & replaced her with a doppelganger & aged her up through CAS.

I'm not making any promises but, at least while I'm testing on a new save.... Everything seems to be running smoothly.

Cross your fingers for me & play to that big plumbob in the sky that I can still save her!(and my Legacy)
