There are so many interesting, beautiful, smart, funny fictional characters in the world so can somebody logically explain to me why out of them all I am obsessed specifically with one sad murderous albino monk?

You seemed intent on finding Sauron. One might even say consumed by it, the way one always is, once he has wormed his way inside your mind. His eye bores a hole and the rest of him slithers in.

I resent the accusations that Lucius would EVER be abusive towards Narcissa. Hes a WIFE GUY, he ADORES her, she is his LIFE, his BEST FRIEND AND CONFIDANT. Lucius abraxis malfoy is many things but cruel to his wife he is not. Even more I'm annoyed I have to defend Lucius honor on this matter BC he is a dick but not like that.

The way the ancients saw the world is beautiful to me. The blue sky? A sign that God brings order out of chaos. The sun, moon, and stars? A sign that messengers (angels) are always watching over us. Rivers of fresh water? A sign that God can cleanse that which is unclean. The chaotic sea? A sign of God controlling the evil of the nations. Sea monsters? A sign that God will destroy the evil of the nations. The birthing of the lambs? A sign that God will deliver those who trust him. Eagles soaring in the air? A sign that God will renew those who trust him. Lilies? A sign of the beauty of God in the simple things. A pomegranate? A reminder to be passionately in love with God because they're passionately in love with you. The growing wheat in the field? A reminder to be compassionate to the poor and the immigrant. A mountain? A reminder that you can be with God on earth.
Us moderns may be more knowledgeable but the ancients were far more wise.
