I am a terrible person, I’d completely intended to have the entire thing up within a week or two of putting up the first chapter, but a couple of things happened to delay it:

1. While doing the edits, I realized that everything would work much better after a total restructure, which meant that the whole thing needed to be rewritten.  As far as the story itself goes, this is a really good thing, because it’s far, far better than it would’ve been, but it also means that rather than the 50-60k that it would’ve been, it’s now going to be 80-100k.

2. I got really sick. ��I almost had chapter 2 ready to post when I injured my back and couldn’t sit at the computer, and from that, my doctor decided some weird stuff was happening in my brain and sent me to a neurologist and it’s all spiralled into a horrible mess of pain and being too out of it on painkillers to function.  Part of what’s wrong with me means I’ve been having a lot of trouble remembering words (which is why this reply is so late, I’m sorry!  I’ve been trying to write it since I got your ask!), which I’m sure you understand is super frustrating when you’re trying to write!

So, in short, I will update as soon as I can!  It’s going to take some time but I will definitely finish it asap.  I’ve worked really hard on this fic and I really love it, so I will definitely see it through to the end!  <3
