MULTIMUSE MEME: Send a " ⭐ " and I will list muses I would be interested in throwing at yours, or potential muse combinations if you are also a multi. If you like any of the suggested combinations, you are welcome to come plot or start interactions with them.
If you can't see / use the symbol for any reason, send " star! " instead. If you are a multi and you want to see which muses I would be interested in throwing against a specific muse of yours, send ⭐+ that muses name.

and I'll write a scene where our muses kiss, even if they aren't shipped together. it is it's own thing and doesn't have to lead to an official ship. a "what if scenario"

@cannotfly (JOHANNA)
He'd gotten his family up early that Sunday. They normally came down from the lighthouse with enough time for her to enter her church nearly the same as everyone else in town.
Today, however, he had made them get up and get there before everyone. He'd dropped Johanna at the church and put her toddler over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes, confirming that he had her, and simply pointed back towards the church as he walked off with her daughter.
He'd come back when the service had ended, Laura had fallen asleep in the buggy. "You pointed out that green bird in that magazine a yours. One that talks an' all." he said as he walked with her back towards the buggy.
"Sure as hell couldn't get my hands on that. So these'll have to do." he turned then and pulled two tiny chicks that he'd been hiding in his coat. he had had to get to the farmer before they themselves left for church.
She didn't like gifts or flowers. Maybe the little birds would be good enough. "Beans said she'd want them if they ain't good 'nough." he put his hands in his pockets , half expecting her to give the gift of those two little chickens back to him. "You'd been sayin' you was lonely. can't be lonely with all that peepin'. "
#cannotfly#c; riff#wife says she lonely so try to find the canary she wanted#yes two chickens are close enough

“On the third Sunday after Snowball's expulsion, the animals were somewhat surprised to hear Napoleon announce that the windmill was to be built after all. He did not give any reason for having changed his mind, but merely warned the animals that this extra task would mean very hard work, it might even be necessary to reduce their rations. The plans, however, had all been prepared, down to the last detail. A special committee of pigs had been at work upon them for the past three weeks. The building of the windmill, with various other improvements, was expected to take two years.
That evening Squealer explained privately to the other animals that Napoleon had never in reality been opposed to the windmill. On the contrary, it was he who had advocated it in the beginning, and the plan which Snowball had drawn on the floor of the incubator shed had actually been stolen from among Napoleon's papers. The windmill was, in fact, Napoleon's own creation. Why, then, asked somebody, had he spoken so strongly against it? Here Squealer looked very sly. That, he said, was Comrade Napoleon's cunning. He had seemed to oppose the windmill, simply as a manoeuvre to get rid of Snowball, who was a dangerous character and a bad influence. Now that Snowball was out of the way, the plan could go forward without his interference. This, said Squealer, was something called tactics. He repeated a number of times, "Tactics, comrades, tactics!" skipping round and whisking his tail with a merry laugh. The animals were not certain what the word meant, but Squealer spoke so persuasively, and the three dogs who happened to be with him growled so threateningly, that they accepted his explanation without further questions.” — Animal Farm, Chapter 5

@whatsbehindthefacade (RIFF)
She had done it. She had kissed him. They'd been inhabiting the same space for so long that things simply...happened. The domesticity of knowing the routine and knowing he'd be there became a comfort. She had had the realization while standing at the kitchen sink, dish cloth and dirty dish in hand, that an empty apartment would be the epitome of despair.
She had already been alone in the world. She could not do it again. That was why she had kissed him.
Her brows furrowed together, her eyes big as she stared at him, waiting for his reaction.

reminder for those who may need to hear it, but it's in incredibly poor taste for non-americans to joke about these election results, and/or mock those living here. your american trans mutuals are hurting. your american nonwhite mutuals are hurting. your american queer mutuals are hurting. your mutuals are mourning their reproductive rights, their right to embody their identity in public, their family members who may have voted against their interests. this is a time to come together as a community and show one another diligence and love rather than making the situation into a joke.

Sometimes I think I should write Satine from Moulin Rouge. Then I remember that I am nor active enough and none of you could probably stand my historical ass inserting itself into a rom com musical.

"It's Tony." is all he can say in response. Tony was like his brother and truly the only family he had left. He couldn't just cast him aside as easily as she made it sound she could.
"I think any Tom, Dick, or Harry sees you and thinks a girl like that is worth takin' out for a soda. And yeah some loser is gonna walk up fine, you do love dancin' Graz, a dime and dance, real smooth." He was smirking already.
"But if you was my girl, I'd give 'em a good punch in the nose, keep the wackos off ya."
His smirk only turned into a genuine smile as she agreed, before leaning like a daredevil over the side of the building and screamed " You hear that New York?! She's my girl!" He'd kiss her if she let him. He really would
" riff I don't care about what happened , who was supposed to be there and how it was supposed to go . I don't care how he is or how he ain't . We're done , he's off in jail , its in the past . "
Something about the topic change brought her back to earth , no longer thinking about how badly Tony pissed her off those last couple days they were dating but now all she could think about was Riff . That slight posession in his words . Her eyes narrowed slightly , amusement flickering across her face. " And you think I would let some loser take me out to soda and I sure as hell wouldn't accept a dime from anyone . " Her eyes studied him for a moment , all his little movements . " Fine then let's see where this goes . Take me out and tell everybody I'm your girl . "
