Finally got myself a deck of tarot cards and remembered El and Liesel playing card games with Liesel's deck of cards and El kept getting the tower and death, and also the eight of swords. And I check the meaning of those cards and the meanings were

The Tower - a card showing two people jumping from a tower struck by lightning, escaping the flames. About destruction, but the tower is standing in the ocean to begin with, meaning that it was always unstable and is awaiting new creation

Death - literally death, right in the center of the card with people of all class under it's mercy. The sunrise in the background symbolizes rebirth as life and death are in a constant loop and there will always be a end to both good and bad things as well as new beginnings. the card is often interpreted as change

The Eight of Swords - woman sitting cross-legged and blindfolded half caught in a thicket of eight massive silver thorns in a circle pointing in at her (Liesel's illustration) the suit of swords represents thought. the eight card is usually associated with the feeling of begin trapped psychologically (because usually the blindfolded woman is surrounded by 8 massive swords and she's afraid that she'll walk into one) but in this case I think we can agree she is physically trapped as well

So in conclusion, a foundation that is needing to be destroyed anyway, the weak and powerful both dying but awaiting rebirth and a woman trapped with no way out, this is El's prophecy

I can just picture Cardan staring at Jude more and more with this kinda face 🤨 as TCP progresses and Jude, Locke and everybody else thinking it's because he's jealous/pissed off about Jude and Locke but he's just wondering if he's the only one noticing Jude becoming sickly by the day and if he's slowly going mad with his unreciprocated crush

OK but in my defense,

I have super fine hair and an oily scalp

My hair was moussed and oiled to the 9's

We're entering rainy season tonight, meaning that the humidity will be 80% at it's driest

My scalp cannot handle all three, the hair products had to go

And I did some research and technically, you can wet your hair... but using shampoo is a big big no-no. Was I terrified the whole time and kept scrunching my hair to see if my perm was still there ? yes, my curls are intact. I have nothing more to add and it's getting awkward so I'm gonna end here, bye 👋

Finally found it

Now if I can only find that movie

does anyone know about an animated movie where this young guy goes on a quest to find his uncle with a time machine and he travels from his time (I'm guessing Edwardian) to the present day and he's terrified of cars or "horseless carriage" as he called them, did some unmemorable stuff and eventually travels to this place where people are living in glass domes because the outside world is all desert and he meets this local girl with silver hair (at least I think everyone had silver hair?) and one day accompanies her on her errand of getting food for the community where a group of the locals stand in a circle and one of them is dragged into the sand in exchange for food and the protagonist is terrified but notices something that is connected to his missing uncle

I honesty don't remember the rest of the movie, it was enough to trigger my Taphophobia that I can't forget it
