He's reading about How to break up with your girlfriend, that you barely talk to, when you both not happy with the relationship cuz, among other reasons, you're in love with your blond angry friend that you almost kiss at the end of your allegedly bro date that was not supposed to mean anything, but actually meant a whole lot, like, a LOT, but you furiously avoid acknowledging that because you're a coward, and now you need to get your shit together, and break up with your girlfriend that deserves better than that and take some time to come to terms with your own feelings so you can properly confess to the angry blond.

Any similarities between Kiri's book subject and the events from Coffee Cups and Cigarette Butts are purely coincidental.
