Jax transmasc is so real

Well, in episode 5 we have many dialogues, scenes that show us a real Jax trans behaviour

At stargazing, after Pomni tells that everyone looks weird, this is Jack's reaction:

And just after, he reinforces it

And it doesn't stops there, as we have later in the last episode's adventure, when is voted to Jax be made of maid, and that's his reaction

His rage and disgust is clear, he can't stop feeling bad, and bothered like never with Zooble's mocking him

They even say that they never saw Jax acting this way before

What is at least dubious, it doesn't fit the way a cis man with Jax's humour would behave at this situation imo, and even if it was, all the signals and comments leads me to think that he is a trans man!

I’m going to say this on tumblr because I KNOW the author is on here but there’s this certain she ra fanfic I’ve been following literally since the start and it’s at almost 500k (congrats abt that by the way) and Catra and Adora have had a SINGLE interaction. A SINGLE ONE. And that’s through magic, they were thousands of miles away.

This author is so good at the long game with this slow burn that I can feel my sanity slipping away from me. Every week when they update I’ll stay up and wait for the chapter being like “they won’t interact, this is only act 2 but maybe they’ll mention each other.”

I feel like a little mouse that’s being slowly fed cheese so I can be lured to a mouse trap. Me going insane going i probably have like 3 more months before they even have ANY kind of interaction that isn’t them thinking about each other.

This is NOT a criticism, I hold this in such high regard because I AM GOING INSANE

I love the fact that the more you look and analyze Stan’s character more and more, the more tragic and sad it becomes.

I have the funny little headcanon that Stan is just causally better at math than Ford now. Now Ford is still very very good at math but in the 30 years he was gone, he mainly used engineering math while Stan used a wide range.

So it’d be really funny for them when sailing across the world, and Ford documenting something using math and Stan will just peak over his shoulder and go “you’re missing a negative.”

It pisses Ford off to no end. (And makes him happy too)

stan is the only member of the pines twins^2 to never make a deal with bill and i think he needs more credit for that.

ford makes, just, so many deals with his demon boyfriend

dipper literally trades his body to bill in sock opera

and while i will die on the hill that it was never her fault, mabel is tricked into making a deal with him for weirdmagenon.

but stan never gets tricked. the only time he comes close was when he was pretending to be ford but that was with the sole purpose of getting bill erased. never does bill get to him or twist his thoughts. for being the "dumb one" he's surprisingly rational in this was.

nobody matches bill intellectually, ford's fatal flaw is that he thought he did, and the pines family wins because they have an emotional core that bill never had (the power of sibling bonding saves the day and i love it) but ill go out on a limb and say that out of everyone, stan is the only one to match bill's street smarts.

bill's a master manipulator but stan is a professional con-artist with no respect for the law, you tell me who's coming out on top.

stan successfully faked his own death, ran a business for 30 years, taught himself some sort of advanced engineering to repair the portal, evaded local, federal and international authorities from the age of 18, and did it all without any support.

and going back to when he pretends to be ford to get bill to enter his mind, that scene makes stan the only character to ever outwit bill.

Something I find really interesting about Stan’s character is how he believes fundamentally that he’s the stupid twin. When in reality he really isn’t and that makes for an interesting parallel between what we see and what he himself sees.

Stan has been conditioned from a young age that there’s only one of brilliance. And that’s in Stanford. The simple intelligence of picking up math and being extremely good with scientific research and knowledge. And because that’ll make money easier, their dad conditioned Stanford to be the ‘smart’ twin that was going places.

Stanley has been shown time and time again to be incredibly creative and socially intelligent (even book smarts too! He literally taught himself how to run a portal) but because that’ll wasn’t valued by his Pa it was shunned.

Stan absolutely could have been an author or comic writer but he thought that he couldn’t be. Stan had a future but it was conditioned out of him. He was told that he would only mean something if he was with Ford. He was told to not care about school work because he’s the ‘dumb one’. I firmly believe that Stan could have gotten wonderful grades or gone to college but because he wasn’t the favorite, that wasn’t an option. Stan is incredibly intelligent, he’s just intelligent in an unconventional way. And that unconventional way is kinda what ends up saving the world.

(Side Note: But there’s also kinda an interesting autism and adhd aspect related to them. Both the twins are heavily neurodivergent coded so I find it interesting that while Fords autism coded behavior and nerdiness because of that helped gain their Pa’s favor, while Stan’s ADHD behavior got him out of their Pa’s favor.)
