Why does people love sans SO MUCH

Like he is a good character, he’s funny, caring, powerful and smart but he doesn’t really do much.

In the pacifist run he just plays around with you and hangs out and then gives you a nice pat on the back at the end for not being a douche.

In the neutral run he basically gone thru most of it after you kill Papyrus and then shows up to call you out on your douchery.

And then in the genocide run its the same as the neutral except he fights you at the end.

Like he was a cool character but nothing about him really scream “most popular”… like papyrus and undyne interact with you WAY more and have great fun personalities (at least in the pacifist run) outside of undyne getting the attention from people who love the fact she’s at lesbian and Papyrus getting the attention from being sans brother, people don’t seem to do much with them.

God people do more stuff with Gaster a person who isn’t suppose to exist and has literally no character than most of the other characters.

I think it bothers me only because they are SOOOOO many good characters, all with their flaws and personalities and stories and feelings and thoughts and no one does anything with it.
