Very, very cute! Summer break just started for me so I have had a lot of free time to catch up on manga and webcomics. This manga was a refreshing break from the numerous reincarnation fantasy comics I have been reading. A Side Character's Love Story focuses on Nobuko, a grocery store employee often regulated to the role of "side character". However, due to various circumstances (as well as an increase of self confidence), Nobuko finds herself experiencing a love story of her very own, finally stepping into the role of "main character". A Side Character's Love Story does a good job of balancing Nobuko's self growth and maturation into a confident individual and classic storybook romance. Having a low self esteem character can be sometimes frustrating as they tend to make choices that can seem unreasonable, however, the author does a splendid job of making Nobuko likable, while also allowing for her to develop. This manga is a perfect light read. If you're sick of reading dramatic reincarnation webcomics (like me haha), I definitely recommend this one! Lots of fluff!!

review: ★ ★ ★ ☆ ☆ ok, to be honest i had really high hopes when i started this one. also, i stayed up pretty late to read this one, only stopping when i was already halfway through the series. at the beginning, i really liked it, i liked how it talked about kaoru’s insecurities and the trauma she had from her past. but as i read on, she started to irk me and i ended up hating her character. i also didn’t like the age gap romance, but if you like age gap romances, you should try this one. i ended up liking the side characters such as her friend konno and the manager she mets at the end of the story. i felt as if they were much, much, much more interesting than kaoru. also the sec ml was cute as first but then he does weird things…so i’m not really sure what to feel about him. overall, it was good in the beginning but got dragged out towards the end. i really wanted to see more of the side characters.

review: ok, i’m literally obsessed. this is one of my fav manhwas ever. firstly, the female lead is amazing*chef’s kiss*, she’s smart and cunning and she knows how to stand up for herself. it’s not as if she easily adapts either, the obstacles are ACTUAL obstacles and it’s all very interesting. not to mention the target love interests are very, very, very handsome. but the most interesting part is how she deals with her past. like most reincarnated characters, they had a horrible past life, one filled with torture and suffering and penelope had one too. but the way the author depicts it, is extremely eloquent. it’s not as if she immediately forgets about it. you can see the trauma and stains of sadness her past life left on her whenever she experiences something memorable in her current life. overall, i give this a 10/10 so far. i read some reviews of the novel and it turns out it gets kind of iffy later on. but with the current amount of chapters right now, it’s really, really good!

Review: This is so such a fluffy story. When I was reading through this story it felt so heartwarming and just like the title, the main couple was so adorable. The art is pretty nice too, the story flows out really smoothly. I also like the character development that plays out in the male lead.
