The main reason I made Absinthe is because Asra is so freaking precious and amazing that I needed someone to love him. Even if that person is a little asshole.

Decided to make a new bitch baby for the arcana. Though he is not teqnically a fan apprentice, meaning he doesn't share the same events the apprentice endures, he is part of Veda's storyline and develops relationships with the love interests.

This is Absinthe. He's a regular merchant to anyone that enjoys Voodoo. He is a practicing Voodoo priest but has become corrupt due to the red market and his questionable upbringing through cultists.

Random facts:

1. Absinthe harbors another 'soul' within him due to a deal he made to grant him more magical ability. This soul he has nicknamed Red, since all he can see when it uses his body is red. His pupils turn red, as well, during possession. Red gas no physical form.

2. Absinthe's personality is considered toxic. He's snarky, rude, lewd and a know it all. The very small soft side he has is buried far deeper than most. Red's personality is more withdrawn but reeks of ill will and mischief. Red is far more morbid than Absinthe.

3. Absinthe is a glutton for punishment, that in he enjoys being hurt. Whereas Red enjoys inflicting pain on Absinthe.

4. For lack of a better word, Absinthe is a whore. Red has no use for sexual relations.

5. Absinthe can't fight for shit. Red can tear people apart.

6. After first arriving to Vesuvia, Absinthe studied under Julian for a short time while trying to escape his cultist ways. The cult quickly put a stop to it when they found he was trying to stop people from dying. He greatly looks up to Valdemar.

7. Absinthe loved how Lucio used to rule and does not like Nadia. He used to be a frequent viewer at the Coliseum, where his favorite gladiators were Una and the Scourge. Asra was one of the first people he met coming to Vesuvia, before the cult had completely taken over his mind. He likes to try and play games with Asra, mainly to seduce him. Asra is usually annoyed by his presence. He knows Veda from working at Asra's shop, and recognizes her from being Una. He keeps that knowledge to himself to see if he can piss her off enough to attack him. He also flirts with her, which also annoys Asra. Absinthe has never met Portia.

8. Absinthe really wants to be with Asra. But after meeting post-deal Julian, he's found himself a new plaything. He does not harbor any feelings for Julian other than sexually.

9. Absinthe has Voodoo symbols, burned into both of his arms, from shoulder to wrist.

10. Absinthe can only preform dark magic.

Asra made an oopsie and forgot to tell his friend what he did.

Muriel couldn't believe his eyes. Just weeks after his escape, he comes across a woman. One that looks identical to the one he ended the life of. She, however, is oblivious to their past and what they endured together. He couldn't stand the sight of the scar across her chest.

Muriel and Veda met at the Coliseum. Neither of them enjoyed fighting for Lucio’s pleasure, but it was never an option to stop. He had something they needed. The two became closer after their extensive stay in the dungeons. At first, Muriel refused to speak, or even acknowledge Una. But after so many days of pestering him, she made her way into his life. Once Lucio caught onto their friendship, he and Vulgora devised a match up for pure entertainment. A battle to the death, winner leaves the coliseum forever. Muriel had no clue Una had already devised a plan, or of her impending disease.
