I especially tend to remember ones that I make during tougher times. I still wonder where they are and who might be looking at them — almost like they have their own life. Especially when I started out, I had a hard time letting go. I remember one work in particular that mapped out a solid five years of my life. At the time I didn’t want to sell, but I also had to get away from it. I was lucky someone wanted it. Now I try and do my best to keep things lighter and just have fun. My favorite is when I do a work thinking of someone in particular, and they end up buying it, or seeing it. It’s really nice when that happens. I remember a print I made about my friend moving to L.A.
