"All eyes looked to the stars, and they saw hope in the Sacred Rings. But such a hope was misplaced, and such false idols were seen, were revered. Centuries wasted upon lies from Prophetic lips." Halo Fandom / Multi-Muse Main muse: The Arbiter

I need a thread where the Arbiter is still in his whole "Kill the Demon" mindset, or at least revenge-hungry. Maybe it eventually turns into him realizing he was in the wrong, and the whole "The Prophets have betrayed us" starts to sink in.
#ooc#//I'm just here for bloodlust angry Arby#//trying to fully commit to this cause#//and he's not yet wanting to believe the SHOCK#wishlist

Horror/Angst Sentence Starters
Friend and I always want more angsty/dark starter memes so we decided to make our own! May add more later.
“You look like you’ve seen a ghost?“
“Heh, what’s the matter…scared?“
“What this? You’re shaking? How pathetic.“
"You’re practically squirming. Do I frighten you that much?"
"I thought you said you weren’t scared?"
"Did you really think that you could just forget about it, like nothing ever happened?"
"You know that this is all your fault."
"No one can save you now. You’re mine."
"You will do what I say, or else…"
"You’re weak. You always were."
"Aw, you poor thing…"
"Heh, are you…crying?"
"Look at how pathetic you’ve become…"
"Don’t let anyone see you cry. Heh… Wouldn’t want that embarrassment, would we?"
"I wonder how many people know that dirty little secret of yours."
"Don’t worry, this won’t hurt…much."
"How high is your tolerance for pain? Well, I suppose I’ll know when you start screaming."
"That pained expression on your face is so delicious."
"Heh, must be hard to stand when you’re bleeding so badly."

fasciinating:
The Sangheili’s suspicion is not entirely invalid. Spock levels his eyes on Thel Vadam, observing him silently as the doors close and the two of them are nestled inside the ship. He can understand the caution living in their bones. Had the circumstances been reversed, perhaps, Spock would be more familiar with their predicament, understand. But he isn’t — and Spock, would not risk such a precarious meeting — he would not wait, no coward or insect, unlike Terran fiends, in the first place. He would have killed this creature before it could speak. Or look upon him. And splashed on the edge of a blade, Spock would wear well his trophy made from Sangheili flesh. That they have even come this far should have been sufficient enough. A flare of anger flashes inside him, insulted, underestimated, and then briefly, Spock thinks and dreams of bloodshed — alien innards twisted in his fists — for the simple reason of serving his own narcissism. Instead, he raises a brow, unimpressed.
“ I would withhold your accusations, lest they become true. ” Spock says, accessing a panel in the center of the main cabin. A ship, the ISS Charon, projects above the table, “ Now, shall we begin? ”
“... Yes, of course. Proceed.” The Arbiter found a bit of relief in hearing that they were to continue with this, and bloodshed would wait until a later time. The area, though quite small for his large frame, gave him enough to analyze that this was of high quality make. There was technology in this that even his own species hadn’t refine as well.
Yes, they could go across galaxies, travel faster than light, but there were delicate instruments at work here. The device that the Vulcan used, a panel to show off the holo-visual of what looks to be a ship, was as impressive as the rest of all this. He watched and waited, looking towards the other with a curious gaze, eyes shining as he wondered what this could mean for them.
“Is this your vessel, or an enemy?” If they were wanting to use what limited resources they still had, remnants of the wars past, he would consider it. Though, with how efficient this one seemed to be, he somehow doubted much would be needed. ‘Perhaps, the idea of conquering my kind may be the winning prize here...’ Thel thought to himself, and was not sure if he enjoyed this thought or not.

paramounticebound asked:
“Only vengeance will make me feel better.”
A low huff left him as he eyed the man, hearing his words so perfectly. There was a hole in his heart that still bled from pain that was not too long ago. Of betrayals and hardship. He knew where that path could take one, and he cast his gaze downward to look at the ground for a brief few moments, before giving him such a stern stare. “That may be true... If it is my help that you want for it, I am not so sure I could provide. Anger still lingers in me from my own past... I may not be able to think so clearly, and be useless to your cause.”

OPEN RP | Muse: Thel ‘Vadum / The Arbiter
“This... can’t be happening... Can’t be real...”
His breaths were coming out hard, and vision going in and out of focus. The armor felt heavier than normal, and he was starting to wonder if he were truly about to pass out from this immense pressure. The fatigue was draining his strength, but he was trying to hold on for as long as possible.
