🕯️ Set 40 years before the events of the main timeline, this side story tells the origin of two souls bound by duty, magic, and everything they were never supposed to feel.

Garnet was a nameless, fugitive slave—an albino human mage with a collar scar burned into her neck, and a soul that refused to die. Marrow was the cold, unshakable Sheriff of Snowdin. Loyal enforcer of the Gaster family. For two centuries, he served. He did not falter. He did not feel.

Until her.

❄️ Summary: A slave mage with no name. A sheriff with a duty. They weren’t supposed to meet. They weren’t supposed to trust. They definitely weren’t supposed to fall in love.

🌙 Preview: She doesn’t know if he’ll help her. She doesn’t know if he’s like them. But when he steps between her and the slave traders dragging her out of Waterfall, something in her stalls. He doesn’t ask for her name. Doesn’t question if she’s lying. He just sees the chains—and acts. “You brought slavery into Gaster’s territory,” he says, voice flat. “That makes you mine.” When he turns to her, he doesn’t grab her. He offers a coat. A car door. A choice. “You want to stay free? Move.” She does. She says nothing the entire ride. Until finally, softly: “Why help me?” He glances at her. Then forward. “Because they thought no one would stop them.” “That’s where they were wrong.”
