A 2 in one special for Show Time! victims!

We start with one of the first victims to be taken in by the entity:

Meryl Pena!

She was the CEO of the company who bought out the IP of the game show after it discontinued. They left it to rot and collect dust, which caused her downfall.

The next victim being shown today is:

Esther Milne!

She worked as a model before being selected for the quiz show. While she wasn't the biggest in the industry, she was still well-known and liked in her area.

Meryl, generally speaking, is quite the businesswoman, knowing how to land contracts which best benefit her and her company. Despite her outspoken and engaging personality, the treatment of her employees isn't always the best. This showed when an employee had 'gone rogue' and leaked a majority of the company's assets before they left the company.

To gather evidence on this rogue employee, Meryl launched an investigation instead of deleting all of the leaked assets. While doing so, she had come across the leaked episodes, with a hate-filled entity lurking inside. Show Time! wasn't very pleased when the game show was left to sit in the dark for so long, so the joy he felt when he was able to take down the very person who prevented it from coming back.

Show Time! and Meryl have a mutual hatred for each other, and it shows. The entity had a particularly fun time intentionally changing things about the new mobian body he stuck her in and causing as much pain and mental damage as possible. If there's one thing to know, he holds grudges.

As for Esther, she's a lovely woman, in truth. She was just caught up in an unfortunate situation. Her niece wanted to watch things with her, and she couldn't say no to that, even deciding to go down memory lane and showing her niece things she used to watch. The game show was one of them- and while it took a bit of digging to find them, they managed to locate the uploaded files and gave it a go.

Esther is someone who tries to be humble and stick to the right path in life, doing what she can because.. well, to her, life is short. You gotta enjoy what you can until it's no longer possible to do so. Sometimes she may doubt herself, but she believes she just has to try and push through and she'll get to where she wants to be in due time.

Show Time! doesn't have a reason to dislike Esther, and he doesn't. But he doesn't pity her for getting into this situation either. He finds it kind of ironic, in a way.

I come holding Show Time! victim stuff. So-

This is Ciaran Petrunich! Someone who has absolutely no idea where they're going in life, but they try.

(no you don't get what they look like as a human b4 Show Time! got his hands on them as I cannot draw humans for the life of me.)

Some stuff about them under the cut!

Despite their constant fatigue and general feeling of not wanting to be wherever they are on the planet, their online persona is a bundle of energy, just to keep up the hype with their fans (to note: they are a streamer, this is important to lore). They're pretty popular on the Internet with a big following, and they care for every single one of their fans. They seem to get in a better mood just being in front of a camera.

Show Time! grew to love toying with them after they got put into the quiz show, quizzing them on their fans or giving them elaborate questions about the entity himself and not about actual Sonic characters like it should've been. Not to mention the minigames were rigged against them. He also enjoyed broadcasting every part of what Ciaran did while off-stage, not giving them any privacy at all. As such, they slowly grew to hate being on camera and did what they could to not be shown (this rarely worked).

(Side note: victims are kept for as long as they keep Show Time! entertained. Sometimes, victims will go up against each other when it is time to partake in the game show if this ends up being the case.)

Now, you may be asking, how did Show Time! get his hands on Ciaran? Well, being interested in some drama going on in the company that bought the IP to the game show after its' discontinuation, they decided to follow along to see what happens, and, as a result found the uploaded episodes. They thought of this as a good way to engage with their fans, and find something to have fun with themself, so they started up their stream and gave a brief rundown of what they knew about it.

Watching it was, well, a bad idea. It didn't take long for the entity to find them and pick them out as a good candidate. So, live on stream, Ciaran was dragged into the screen and forced into a Mobian body (one that went through some.. unfortunate modifications). And all the viewers could do was sit back and watch. For a good while, some even believed it was some elaborate prank.

It might as well have been.

I bring forth a silly EXE goober of mine:

Some lore under the cut!

His lore (which is still in the works) is that he's basically taken over an old Sonic theme quiz show that aired only for a few months before it was discontinued (inspired by the Sonic - Super Hedgehog quiz show from Russia in 1994).

After its discontinuation, it took years for people to uncover lost episodes, uploading them to the Internet for people to download and watch as they please. This ended up giving the entity a gateway to bring mortals into his realm to play with.

When he drags his victims into the show, instead of possessing pre-existing characters, they will be giving a custom body that the entity can change as he pleases (the victim can feel the pain of every change he makes, so say he didn't like the way your ears looked- you would feel the excruciating pain of your ears being ripped off, combined with the pain of new ears bursting from your skin. If he felt like it, he could rip out your eyes from their sockets and replace them with new ones. The only reason you don't die is that he's constantly keeping you alive to continue the show). So yes, if you were a victim of his, you could end up looking like your sona/OC.

I'm still currently thinking about who the victims of this EXE will be. I mean, I do have plans for one of them, but due to my thoughts for their lore they will be one of the last to die from the line up.

Another thing to mention: He can change his form however he pleases, so he could take the form of someone like Tails or Sonic.

This is because in the quiz show he took over, there used to be a 'character of the week', and that character of the week would be the one hosting the show that episode and would have the questions and minigames tailored towards them.

He took that aspect partly 'just because he could', but also to match the original show.

OneShot AU

Shadow takes the place of Niko, and has to return the Master Emerald to The Temple to restore the decaying world he suddenly woke up in as he tries to get back to his best friend and sister, Maria.

I've got some writing for the marine biology AU that I wrote a little while ago. Felt like I could share it here for people to read if they wanted.

Context: They've recently brought their little sea angel buddy in after finding him in an abandoned submersible that had long since been flooded with water, though they're not quite sure of his name yet. Sonic wanted to check up on him to make sure he was comfortable with his accommodations.

Sonic stood in front of the tank, looking at Shadow who was just floating around mindlessly. He seemed to be doing his own thing, not noticing his presence. The hedgehog leaned against the glass of the tank, studying the creature. He soon let his hand tap against the glass to get his attention. Once he turned towards him, Sonic spoke up to the sea angel.

“ How’s it going in there, bud? ” He asked, wanting to check up on him. Make sure he was comfortable and all that. Shadow, ever the curious being, immediately swam to the glass to see Sonic more clearly. His movements were elegant, with every flap of his wings sending ripples of water throughout the tank. The sea angel pressed his hand against the glass, trying to match the tapping Sonic had previously been doing, his blue eyes observing the azure researcher with a curious gaze before signing to him.

[“ Doing okay. ”] Shadow responded, smiling. He was okay before, but seeing the hedgehog seemed to lift his spirits even more. Sonic tapped the glass again, this time right above Shadow’s hand. “ You look lonely in there. ” He commented with a soft voice. Maybe that sentence held some truth to it, but he had the researchers with him a lot of the time so everything was a-okay! The hedgehog, wanting to keep the conversation going, continued, his tone friendly and nonchalant. “ Mind if I ask ya a few questions? Nothing personal, just research stuff. ” The sea angel, enjoying the attention and company, pressed against the glass, nodding his approval to Sonic. Shadow’s eyes held a certain eagerness as he waited for the questions.

Reassured by the creature’s nonverbal agreement, Sonic asked his first question. “ First off, ” he began, “ how’s your living situation here? Comfortable enough, I hope? ” As he spoke, he glanced around the tank, observing the setup. It appeared decently spacious and equipped, but that didn’t necessarily mean that Shadow was satisfied with it.

Shadow, who was still pressed against the glass and watching Sonic intently, seemed to consider the question before responding to him. He then slowly signed to him, his movements deliberate and precise as he did his best to get his thoughts across. [“ Room is big. Comfortable. ”] The sea angel’s answer was short and to the point, but there was a hint of contentment in his expression and tone that said a lot. The blue hedgehog chuckled slightly at the answer, relieved that Shadow seemed content with his living conditions. His gaze softened as he continued speaking, a hint of genuine care in his voice.

“ Good to know, ” He said. “ The team and I have tried our best to make your stay here as pleasant as possible. The tank might be a bit limiting, but we’ve added lots of different things to keep you stimulated, haven’t we? ” He gestured to various items in the tank, like plants and structures, intended to make Shadow's environment more engaging. “ Might not be what you’re used to, though we can always make adjustments if need be. ”

Sonic looked directly at Shadow again, a soft smile on his face, and continued talking. “ And how is your diet? You have everything you need to get your proper nutrition? ” He asked with a raised eyebrow, wanting to make sure that the sea angel was receiving suitable food. Malnutrition was definitely not ideal for someone like him, so his diet had to be very specific. Shadow seemed to understand the question, and he signed his response, [“ Diet is good. ”] He gave a thumbs up, mimicking what he’s seen the researcher do sometimes, indicating that the food provided was satisfactory. Sonic’s face relaxed once more as he chuckled. “ Good to hear, bud. ”

He continued to lean against the tank, watching as Shadow floated around. “ Any discomfort with the researchers? Any of them make you uneasy, or do anything that might make you uncomfortable? ” Sonic knew that the rest of the research team could sometimes be a bit invasive of personal space, wanting to understand every detail of the sea angel’s anatomy or behavior for scientific purposes.

To Sonic’s relief, Shadow shook his head softly. [“ Everyone is nice. ”] The added response reassured the researcher more. Most of the team were well trained to handle sensitive subjects, but at the end of the day, they were curious scientists working in unknown territory. And the unfortunate thing was that, sometimes, their curiosity was not always properly tempered. On the other end, the creature seemed fine for the most part. Maybe at first he was a little put off by the sudden close proximity as they watched him and got close to study his anatomy, but he came to realize that it was important and the more he complied the quicker it was over.

There was a pause in the conversation as Sonic had to gather his thoughts. The next question was important and he had to be careful about how he formulated it. Not in a way that would make Shadow uncomfortable, obviously. That’s not what he wanted. Sonic met the subject’s eyes and took a deep breath before he opened his mouth to speak. “ ‘Kay, so… there’s one more thing I want to ask ya. ” His tone turned to something more serious.

Shadow seemed to sense the shift in his tone, his expression turning slightly curious. He nodded, his blue eyes locked with Sonic’s as he waited to hear what he had to say. [“ What is it? ”] The sudden seriousness made him feel a little anxious, his tail flicking left and right to signify his nerves, not that it was too noticeable.

“ Are you happy here? ” Sonic asked, his question simple yet direct. He knew it might be a tricky question to answer, but it was important that they discussed it. Shadow might have been doing well in terms of physical comfort and health, but happiness was a different matter. He knew that living in captivity could take a toll on anyone, no matter how nice their living situation was. Surely even a tank as big as the one he was in was still a limiting place to live.

Though, Shadow didn’t really see it as captivity. He liked it here. He got to talk to the researchers, he had aaaaall the space in the tank to himself, and he got fed! His quill-like appendages perked upwards in the water as he got a smile on his face again. “ ..hhaaappy! ” The sea angel said, deciding not to use sign language this time, bubbles coming out from his mouth as he spoke. He thought that, perhaps, this would convey how he felt better than if he were to sign it out, even if he did struggle a little with speaking. Sonic, at first, was silent, but then he smiled back at the creature. Shadow seemed okay after all, floating around in the water like an excited puppy. It was honestly adorable.

It's been a while but uhh I'm building up a new AU.

It's a marine biology AU, where the cast are marine biologists researching the deep parts of the sea [poor Sonic lol]. Shadow here is a Sea Angel/Hedgehog hybrid they found in a run-down submersible one day and decided to take in. Feel free to ask about him:]

Doodled the fox boy because I was bored— he's probably rambling to Maurice, or maybe even SH-36, about something random while they're still on the colony for their mission. Sometimes it gets tiring, y'know?

Miles studied the board carefully, his fingers drumming against the fluff of his muzzle. " Let's see, king... " He mumbled, clicking his tongue idly as he leaned back and folded one leg over the other, still observing. There were a few moves he could make here.. but he had to weigh the pros and cons of each. Eventually, which really wasn't too long, the fox cleared his throat. " Anyway, Queen takes Pawn. Okay? " He spoke, glancing up to meet the eyes of his opponent. SH-36 was quick to make his own move, already having calculated what he should do to respond. " Bishop takes Knight's Pawn. "

He raised a brow. Interesting move. Miles' expression softened back to neutral. " Huh, lovely move. " He commented, before continuing the game with what he thought was a good play. " Um, Rook to King 1. " The AI's attention shifted from Miles to the board, then back to Miles again. Its mouth opened to speak. It already knew it was bound to win no matter what move the double-tailed mobian made after his. " I'm sorry, Miles, I think you missed it. " At the sudden claim, he was a little surprised. What did he miss? He waited for SH-36 to elaborate. " Queen to Bishop 3, Bishop takes Queen, Knight takes Bishop. "

" Mate. "

To the AI, it was a simple algorithm. Miles wouldn't be able to stop his defeat, even if he could've at least stalled it by one single move. From that, it was now pretty obvious to the fox where he went wrong. He was the type of person that could admit that he made a mistake, so he didn't argue. He saw no need to. " Huh. Yeah, looks like you're right. " He sighed- though he wasn't too affected by the loss. " I resign. "

" Thank you for a very enjoyable game. " SH-36 said calmly, and yet his voice seemed to have a drop of gratefulness in it. He didn't have the proper facial expression programmed into his model for him to properly convey how he felt playing with the other, but he tried with what he had. Miles smiled at this, that was indeed quite a fun game. So, he got up, and thanked the AI sincerely.

" Yeah, thank you. "

Haha.. maybe next time he would win. Doubtful, but there was no harm in hoping. He waved to the screen, before turning around and walking out of the room, his tails dragging behind him. SH-36 slightly waved back, stopping as soon as Miles headed out of the door, his model's arm falling back to his side. And then, not long after, he began his wait for Maurice. He had something to discuss with that blue hedgehog, after all.

" Well, whaddya think? " Asked the fox, his brow raising as he took a short moment to glance outside of the EVA pod, just to make sure SH-36 wasn't doing anything to watch them right now, even if there were no cameras stationed inside.

Maurice ran his hand through his quills, his gaze following Miles' briefly, letting a deep sigh escape him as he responded with a tired, slow tone, " I'm not sure, what do you think? " At that, the other folded his arms, leaning back against the wall, his two tails drooping to rest against the floor. What did he think? Well, something felt wrong, that's for sure. He couldn't quite pin what it was, but there definitely was something that was causing this pit of dread to form in his stomach. He returned his attention to Maurice shortly before speaking, trying his best to remain level-headed.

" I've got a bad feeling about him. " The blue hedgehog tilted his head curiously, deciding to prod into his friend's thoughts by enquiring about that. " You do? " He asked, and the double-tailed fox replied with a small nod, a contemplative hum, and then few words. " Yeah, definitely. Don't you? " He felt that was a simple question that needed a simple answer. Yes or no.

Maurice sighed once more, quite uncertain about the words he wanted to say. SH-36 had been helping them thus far, and he trusted the AI enough to continue to assist them with the mission without double crossing them, it's just that, recently, everything had just been.. strange. Too out of character for his liking. " I don't know; I think so. " He paused to gather his thoughts into a neat little line, lightly tapping his foot against the ground. Then he spoke up again, continuing from where he left off. " You know, of course though he's right about the 36 series having a perfect operational record. They do. " There was no doubt about that. Until now, there were no mistakes made by him. Not even one. Miles gave him a deadpan look as soon as those words left his mouth, and he shook his head. " Unfortunately that sounds a little like famous last words. " Maurice chuckled and rolled his eyes, the tension from only a few moments ago rolling off his back- but he quickly switched back to being more serious, as this was no laughing matter. " Yeah? It was still his idea to- "

On the outside, the sounds of their voices were drowned out. Practically muted to SH-36. Yet he stared. He watched from outside of the pod, watching their body language, the way their mouths moved, the way their eyes shifted to the small window every so often, the way they were trying ever so hard to be discrete and unheard. Unfortunately for the two, the AI could lip read- he wasn't restricted to what he could hear. He picked up on a few words; a few words he hated to hear.

" Malfunctioning. ", " Wrong. ", " Disconnection... ". He almost muttered out loud to himself, making the motion of his mouth opening to talk, but no words coming out. It simply remained in his thoughts. His system. He hated that these words were being said behind his back. The concept of disconnection.. the thought of it happening.. it would jeopardise the mission if they followed through with the idea. He couldn't allow that. SH-36 frowned, eyes trained on the two, calmly, patiently, waiting for them to come back out. As he knew they would eventually.

" Maurice, this conversation can hold no purpose anymore. " The AI spoke calmly, his voice monotone, expression blank, yet his stare carried burning levels of displeasure. Of irritation. His model's hand raised to the edge of the screen, looking out from it into the world. The place outside of his own digital prison (does he really think of it that way?). SH-36's fake, programmed eyes glared right into Maurice's hardened, green ones, before they narrowed. His mouth opened to talk again, his voice suddenly cutting through the brief, thin thread of silence.

" Goodbye. "

Gonna give some facts about Necromancer Shadow along with this doodle.

For one, he has pistanthrophobia, the fear of trusting people. After losing Maria to G.U.N, his views towards everyone became very cynical, believing that no one was to be trusted and that they'd hurt him in the end.

Two, the scar he has on his eye matches one that his AU Maria has, but no one knows how they got them in the first place.

Three, he partakes in necrophagia, the act or practice of eating corpses or carrion. Any person that he uses for his rituals that fails usually gets eaten as livestock, and this choice was influenced by Black Doom, who has been interacting with Shadow for some time now.

Four, he has never met Sonic. If you were to ask him about the blue hedgehog, he would ask who the hell that is.

Five, he was never put in cryostasis, and was left to deal with the grief of losing the closest person to him while having G.U.N after him at the same time. It was not a fun experience for him, as it served to make him hate them even more.

Was real tempted to post about this other guy of mine, so here he is- a necromancer version of Shadow that aims to bring Maria back through any means necessary. He often goes by the alias 'Velsharoon', a demigod of necromancy.

First post but uhhh hi! These two are some alternate Sonic and Shadow goobers, named Sonix and Shadox [original, I know]. They travel between worlds together because they're curious little critters that want to know what's beyond ^^
