"So, what do you want to do?" Wilbur questions. Before Tommy can ask what that means, Wilbur continues, "Like, as a job. In the future."

Tommy isn't sure if telling the older boy that he already has a job—and that it consists of him currently trying to kill his father—would pass over very well, whether he plays it off as a very morbid joke or not, so he bites his tongue to hold back the remark.

"Uh," he says instead. "Definitely not any illegal or violent activities, if that's what you're thinking."

(or: Tommy is an assassin tasked with eliminating one very important man by the name of Philza.)
