Art Fight is coming up and i need to upgrade some of my ocs's profiles with new art

first up, some icons, the icons i had for a lot of these guys were just cropped art rather then proper icons so it was long overdue for me to fix that.

YOOOOO new design for in-control, Tree Man Philip just dropped!?

i'm just gonna keep redesigning him till i'm satisfied it seems, though it's been awhile since my last attempt

still, i think this one looks better then my last few tries, i'm also more satisfied with the monster caleb form too, honestly the giant tongue adds to the design tbh

Last year i made some s1 art of my Swap au to celebrate it's anniversary! it was only fitting that I did some s2 ones for this year!

s2 has so many options to choose from i could honestly do another one with s2 again, i just wanted a variety of characters and episodes, and i didn't even cover all the moments i wanted to!

Arofam question, when Caleb was working for Eda did he have an outfit all made up for Philip like his crimson crusader armor so he’d have a uniform is Philip joined up

i don't imagine caleb honestly thought philip would actually go so far as to join him in that way

he was honestly stretching in just trying to get philip to join them period, he probably didn't wanna get his hopes too high knowing how philip actually was

they were indoctrinated as kids and i always think about how they've never thought of a life outside their cult because they think they can't leave and were brainwashed into thinking they're the good guys for staying

it's never really made clear if caleb tried to take philip with him, or at least considered it, for me i decided to at least show him trying to pitch the idea of leaving to pip early on, as if hoping he can find a crack or two in pip that might convince him they could stop being hunters together

mmmm but caleb feeling so much affection and love that he's feeling less and less fear about the so called "Evil witch world" because it's actually bringing him much needed joy

and he's been holding onto that wooden flower since evelyn ditched him, waiting for the right time to give it back, but evelyn said she'd take him to her home once she would fully trust him....so now he feels safe giving it bacl since she truly trusts him again and and

thinking about how caleb has lived years without loving supportive parents, thinking about he lives in an environment that doesn't accept him and needs him to act a certain specific way, thin king about how he is trying to cope with his bad deeds but being happy to have people accept him rather then punish him...

I don’t remember if you’ve already done this but what would happen if arofam!belos and Archie met?

i think i have drawn this before but i imagine philip being a very weird mentor figure trying his best to help archie deal with his situation, and archie not being sure what to make of him because he's both the man he is incredibly terrified of, but also he is.....nothing like the man he is incredibly terrified of

like in arofam philip is kinda aware of how bad he is/almost was, he probably would have some sympathy for archie since this kid's life has been ruined by another version of him and it wasn't archie's fault

i don't even think archie would know what to make of philip, but i do wonder if seeing a different version of belos that isn't like the man he's been told about might at least let him feel slightly less worse about himself and grasp how human the belos he came from was

like seeing another version not completely fall to corruption would probably help him cope with the thought that he's not destined to be a danger like people worry about, because not every Philip out there does
