one of my favorite details of UTY is how Flowey's Determination exceeds Clover's, not necessarily because he was pumped chock full with DT (but i'm sure that was a contributor) but more because Clover themself isn't really that Determined in the first place.

They always chose to live with Toriel without intervention. In the neutral route, they react to Martlet offering to become roommates with varying degrees of reluctance depending on their LOVE, but they always ultimately agree, even if the vengeance route was aborted at the Steamworks.

the only time they become more Determined than flowey and gain control of the timeline is when they choose to kill martlet instead of becoming roommates with her. I think about that a lot.

SOOO me and @threeaxolotlsinatrenchcoat are cooking an AU! It's called Burning Hearts, Rotting Cores. More based in rain world than murder drones - the characters are translated into scugs! Lots of Nuzi fluff with some hurt/comfort. There is totallyyy nothing sinister that awakens... don't worry 😀
