HAHAHAHAAA SORRY NOT SORRY

Still Us
Paring: Divorced!Arlecchino x Divorce! Female reader
Context: Your both divorced but love still blooms
Cc: This person was my inspo
Word count: 514 words
The house smelled like homeâsomething warm and familiar, even after everything. You stood at the kitchen counter, stirring the pasta sauce as rain pattered against the window. The kids were settled in the living room, watching a movie, their laughter occasionally echoing through the house.
Then, the front door creaked open.
"Mom!" Leonâs excited voice rang out as he sprinted in, nearly tackling your legs.
"Whoa, easy there, sweetheart," you chuckled, ruffling his messy hair. "Did you have fun with Mama?"
"Yeah! We had ice cream twice! But Ana got mad 'cause Mama forgot napkins."
You smirked, already imagining your daughterâs unimpressed face. "Sounds like her."
"Hey."
That voice. Deep, smoothâfamiliar.
You turned, heartbeat stuttering. Arlecchino leaned against the doorway, hands in the pockets of her coat, hair damp from the rain. Her crimson eyes traced over you like she wasnât supposed to, like it was a habit she couldnât break.
"Hey," you said, softer now.
Ana walked in behind her, more composed than Leon. "Mom." She hugged you briefly before turning to Arlecchino. "I left my book in your car."
Arlecchino nodded, ruffling her hair before stepping back outside to grab it.
You exhaled, staring after her. Even after the divorce, she lingered in your life in ways you hadnât expected. The distance was supposed to help, to make it easier. But it hadnât. If anything, it made you realize how much you still wanted her.
By the time she returned, dinner was ready. You hesitated before speaking.
"Do you⌠want to stay for dinner?"
She blinked, surprised. Then, something softened in her expression. "Yeah," she murmured. "Iâd like that."
Dinner was a mess of giggles and playful bickering between the kids, but the warmth in the room was undeniable. Arlecchino sat beside you, her presence too solid, too comforting to ignore. Every so often, your hands brushed, and neither of you pulled away.
By the time you tucked the kids into bed, the rain had stopped. Arlecchino lingered in the doorway of the living room, watching as you smoothed Leonâs hair back before kissing his forehead.
When you finally turned to her, she had that look againâquiet, intense.
"You should stay," you found yourself saying before you could stop.
Her jaw tensed, eyes flicking to your lips. "You sure?"
You swallowed. "Yeah."
Maybe it was a mistake. Maybe it was the closure you both needed. Either way, when her lips finally met yours, it didnât feel like the end.
It felt like coming home.
The kiss was slow, hesitant at first. But then her hands found your waist, pulling you closer, and the hesitation melted away. You gasped against her mouth when she pressed you against the bedroom wall, her fingers slipping beneath your shirt.
"You missed me," she murmured against your skin.
You shivered. "Didnât you?"
She didnât answer, just kissed you deeper, hands relearning every inch of you like she was trying to make up for lost time.
Maybe love didnât disappear after a divorce. Maybe it lingered, waiting for the right moment.
Maybe it was still you and her.

A Love Story in the Shadows

Paring: Arlecchino x female reader
Context: A relationship in blooming
Cc: Was listening to this song while writing this
Word count: 670 words
It was a night like any other in Fontaine. The city hummed with its usual rhythm, the lights flickering from every corner of its grand, water-filled avenues. Yet, as you walked through the stone streets, a strange stillness clung to you. You were drawn to a small, hidden garden, tucked away behind a gentle stream. The night air was cool, the only sound being the soft rustling of the leaves, a melody you knew wellâone that mirrored your thoughts.
Arlecchino had been keeping her distance, like a shadow that never fully left. She had made herself a legend, an enigmatic figure whose heart and thoughts were shrouded in mystery. But tonight, something was different. Tonight, there was a strange pull in the air, and you couldn't shake the feeling that she might be near.
Your footsteps slowed, and there, standing like a specter, she appeared in front of you. Her long, dark cloak trailed behind her, the subtle shimmer of her mask catching the faint light of the garden. The expression on her face was unreadable, yet there was something in her gaze that made your pulse race.
"I didn't expect you to come here," she said softly, her voice like silk, but with an edge to it.
You could feel the tension in your chest, the sudden surge of emotion that made you both hopeful and terrified.
"I couldn't stay away," you replied, your heart pounding. "Why do you always hide, Arlecchino? Why not let yourself be seen?"
Her smile was fleeting, almost sad. "Because... I am not the person you think I am," she said, taking a step closer, her eyes never leaving yours. "People like me don't deserve love, not in the way you want it."
You reached out, fingers trembling slightly. "What if I don't care about who you are or what you've done? What if I just care about you?"
For a long moment, Arlecchino said nothing. She merely studied you, as if trying to decipher the truth behind your words. But then, her cold expression softened just a little, and she spoke again, her voice barely a whisper, like a secret meant only for you.
"You don't understand, do you?" she asked. "I'm nothing but a mask, a performance. I can never be what you want me to be."
A sigh escaped her lips, and she closed the gap between you. Her hands were cold against your skin, her touch delicate, but there was a weight to itâa weight that made your heart feel both light and heavy at once.
You smiled gently, lifting your hand to rest on her cheek. "I see the person behind the mask. And that's enough for me."
The silence stretched between you both, but this time, it wasnât uncomfortable. It was filled with unspoken truths and emotions that only the two of you could understand.
Then, Arlecchino, with her stoic composure slipping just enough to reveal the softness hiding beneath, leaned in and kissed you. It was not the kiss of a fleeting moment or a playful game. It was a kiss full of longing, of something deeperâsomething that neither of you had dared to speak of until now.
"I donât know if I can be the one you deserve," Arlecchino murmured as she pulled away just slightly, her breath warm against your lips.
You shook your head, smiling despite the overwhelming emotions swirling within you. "I don't need you to be anyone else. I just need you to be with me."
She paused for a moment, her eyes searching yours. Then, with a quiet acceptance, she nodded.
"Alright," she said, her voice softer now. "but only if you promise not to give up on me."
You leaned in again, your lips meeting hers in a kiss that spoke of promises, of a future neither of you had dared to imagine until that moment. And though you both knew the road ahead might be full of shadows, you were ready to walk it together.

One Last Time

pairing: arlecchino x fem!reader context: She misses you. cw: Sorry not sorry / was listening to One last time when writing this word count: 746 art credits: shsjsjs-posts
The sun was setting, casting a soft pink glow across the horizon. you and Arlecchino sat side by side, the weight of the day slowly lifting as you both let the quiet of the evening wrap around you both. It had been a long time since the two of you had shared such a peaceful moment, and something about tonight felt differentâmore bittersweet, more final.
Arlecchino leaned back against the balcony railing, watching as the city below came to life in the dimming light. You stood close to her, your shoulder brushing against hers, though you remained silent, your gaze distant. She couldnât help but feel the tension that lingered between you both. It was something unspoken, something both of you had been trying to avoid acknowledging for a while now.
Finally, you spoke, your voice barely above a whisper. "Do you ever think about... what we couldâve been?"
She turned her head to look at you, your heart tightening in your chest. She knew exactly what you meant. The âwhat-ifsâ of everything that had never happened, the moments that had slipped through her fingers like sand.
"I do," She admitted quietly, her fingers lightly tracing the edge of her coffee cup. "But itâs not just what we couldâve been... itâs what we were. Iâll always treasure that. Every single moment."
Your eyes softened, but there was a sadness there too, an understanding that the time had come for this to end. The space between you two had grown too wide for either of you to ignore anymore, even though neither of you wanted to face it.
"I donât want to say goodbye," you murmured, your voice low and almost broken. "But maybe itâs what we need. Maybe this... this is the last time."
Her heart skipped a beat. She knew the inevitable was coming. The subtle pull of fate, the way things had shifted beyond both of yours control, pushing you both toward an end that neither of you wanted, but both of you knew was coming.
"Youâre right," she whispered, her voice thick with emotion. "One last time. But I want to make it count."
The air felt heavier now, charged with everything unsaid. She turned to face you, your eyes searching hers, as if you were looking for something you wasnât sure you would find.
âIâve always loved you,â you confessed softly, your hand reaching out to gently cup her cheek. "And Iâll always remember us, even when things change. But we can't keep holding on when it's time to let go."
Your words stung, but they also brought a strange sense of peace. She couldnât deny the truth in them. You both had fought hard, tried to keep the connection alive despite the forces pulling you apart. But sometimes, love wasnât enough to keep things from unraveling.
âLetâs make this last moment unforgettable,â she said, her voice firm despite the lump in her throat. "One last time... letâs be everything we ever wanted to be."
You smiled, a bittersweet, tender smile that made her heart ache. You leaned in, kissing her gently, as though the world itself was waiting for this final act. The kiss was soft at first, tentativeâan unspoken promise that even if everything was ending, this moment would remain in your hearts forever.
When she pulled away, both of you were breathless, and yet the silence between you felt comforting, like the calm after a storm.
"One last time," she whispered again, her voice barely audible. "Letâs dance."
Without hesitation, she stood up, reaching for your hand. The cityâs hum faded into the background as she pulled you into a slow dance on the balcony, the fading light of the sunset wrapping around you both like a blanket. No words were necessary now; your hearts said everything that needed to be said.
As the song played in the distance, the one you had both played together so many times before, the world seemed to slow. It was like time itself was giving you this last, perfect momentâa memory you would both hold close, no matter where life took you.
In that moment, she knew. She would always carry a piece of you with her, no matter how far apart you both were. One last time, she danced together, a final act of love before the inevitable goodbye.
And when the song ended, so did this chapter. But the memory of you, of this moment, would stay with her forever.
