New Drabbles!

Welcome back!

We’re a day late with this update mainly because the time completely got away from me last night while I was sprinting to finish the first draft of Prompt #2!

Let us all rejoice though because draft 1 is complete! Now I’m into editing and smoothing out the rough patches - hopefully we’ll have the full chapter up for the weekend.

In the meantime, this week I have for you not one new drabble but two new 500 word drabbles! Continuing on from last week’s we get to see what happens when Vegeta returns to planet Vegeta for the first time in decades - on a mission to retrieve his kidnapped spouse.

How I Can’t Live Without Apple/ A Drabble

Welcome back!

This week I’ve been hard at work remodelling Chapter Two of my Vegebulocracy Summer Prompt Challenge and while it isn’t complete yet, I feel like it has vastly benefited from the rewrite - it’s most definitely hotter!

Also, I had to return my work iPad Pro earlier in the week :( I’d borrowed it temporarily to see how the digital drawing felt on it. Turned out it’s pretty damn good and blew me away with how natural it felt. Sadly, it needed deploying elsewhere in the business which left me without the comfort of its Apple-y goodness.

That’s where Amazon stepped in! See this weekend, Amazon have been preparing for the Prime Day sales including electronics like iPads. Also this weekend, most of the high street electronics stores are slashing their prices to compete with the online giant.

Turns out I couldn’t live without my portable sketchbook, notebook, streaming device so I managed to snag myself a deal - ended up saving about £50.

Anyway, to the main event of this update!

I have for you, dear reader, a special 500 word drabble, taken from a selection of loosely related scenes from a idea I had floating around for a while.

More Thirsty Drawings

So I decided to scrap Chapter Two entirely of my Vegebulocracy Summer Prompt Challenge fic. I’ve been reading a lot of writers reference books this last week and I want to put some of that stuff into practice.

I’m an avid reader of Romance (usually Historical, Fantasy, Science Fiction and Paranormal). As such, the type of fanfiction I want to write means crafting love stories and focussing largely on the How and the Why these two people fall in love as opposed to the Who or the What of what’s going on around them.

So yes, I’m rewriting that chapter. The other good news is I started plotting out some longer fiction on a Trello board which I hope I can get around to writing and sharing with you all.

That said, I haven’t come to you this evening entirely empty handed!

Once again, I have some art to quench your thirst for Vegeta! Hopefully, that should tide you all over until next week :)

Distraction!

So I had intended to have the second chapter of my Vegebulocracy Summer Prompt Challenge ready to go this evening. However my mind had way different ideas for how to spend my weekend. On Friday night after work I sat out in the sun, in my local town centre and just drew!

This is quite a feat for me. Procrastination and lack of creativity play very well together. I figure it’s been well over a decade since I downed pen and left the world of fan art and fan fiction behind.

Vegeta was not to be silenced though! So instead of chapter two I offer up to you instead, some fan art for your collective thirst!

Vegelbulocracy Summer Prompt Challenge begins!

Hi everyone

Hoo-boy! Nervous does not even cut it! I’ve been hard at work this last month binging this ship and finally decided to dip my toe again into fandom and fan fiction. It’s been a while and reading all the wonderful material that’s already out there for these two is sometimes hella intimidating!

That said, I wanted to share the first chapter of my @vegebulocracy Summer Prompt Challenge - a set of seven steamy scenarios beginning with prompt 1 - Sunbathing. 

I’ve got some super hot ideas and can’t wait to share them with you all.
