It's NOT a genocide

First of all, I am not Jewish, but I feel I have to say this. (I am also not a right-wing, evangelical, American Protestant if that makes any difference to you). What is going on in Gaza does not constitute a genocide. Why? Because literally only 2% of Gazans have been killed in the Gaza strip which is still a tragedy, but not a genocide. If a genocide was intended, ALL of the Gazan population would easily have been wiped off the map by now. Israel absolutely has the capability to do that. It could have also wiped southern Lebanon off the map, but its only intention was to make Hezbollah cease and desist. This is also the only goal it has in Gaza. It wants Hamas, a known terrorist group, out of there for good, both for Israel's sake as well as the innocents in Gaza. Israel has been bombed daily/weekly/monthly by them for 25 years or more ( I believe over 25,000 bombs have been launched at Israel in that time) as well as suffering suicide bomber attacks under the auspices of Hamas (not to mention the horrors of Oct 7). A genocide against Palestinians would include those in West Bank (3 million) as well as the 2 million Palestinians who live safely and securely in Israel as Israeli citizens. Genocide then is not Israel's intent. It is waging a just war against a people group which has been routinely bombing and targeting Israelis for the past 25 years. It literally sends out warnings to the people in Gaza when it intends to launch an attack. I don't remember the allies doing that in WW2. Israel isn't perfect. I am not saying certain Israelis don't have an agenda. I am not saying that what is going on is purely innocent. I am saying this is not a genocide by a long stretch. I am saying that Palestinians have collectively REJECTED a 2-state solution five times, rather than Israel denying them a 2-state solution. I am saying that Hamas and Hezbollah were actively supported by other Muslim nations specifically to terrorize and wage war against Israel. Think about this. If your state/province/country had suffered continuous bombing over the past 25 years, not to mention the other atrocities culminating in 1200 people being callously murdered in hand-to-hand combat in one day, what would your response be? I am pretty sure it would be the exact same response as Israel's....only probably much, much worse.

Standard of Lies and Truth

It’s crazy, isn’t it? Some people will believe a lie with zero evidence no questions asked, no hesitation. 

Whisper a rumour, drop a headline, or post something on social media, and suddenly it’s gospel truth in their eyes. Yet when it comes to actual truth solid facts, clear evidence, and reality staring them in the face they demand endless proof. And even then, some still won’t accept it.

This is the world we’re living in now. A society where lies spread faster than wildfire because they appeal to feelings, fears, and convenience. People latch onto what makes them comfortable, not what makes them think. Truth, on the other hand, is often uncomfortable. It requires accountability, responsibility, and sometimes even the humility to admit you were wrong. And that’s why so many resist it.

We’ve bred a culture that doesn’t care about facts anymore it cares about narratives. If the lie fits the narrative, it’s instantly believed. If the truth doesn’t fit, well, suddenly the goalposts are moved. “Show more evidence.” “Prove it again.” “That can’t be right.” It’s hypocrisy at its finest.

But here’s the thing: Truth doesn’t need their approval to exist. Facts don’t vanish just because someone refuses to accept them. Lies may be popular for a season, but the truth always stands quietly, firmly, waiting for the noise to die down.

So, when you see this double standard at play, don’t get frustrated. Just recognise it for what it is: weakness, fear, and intellectual laziness. The strong don’t cling to lies they confront reality, even when it stings.

Days 25 & 26 - Liking your country is a crime now.

Today, I want to talk about something completely asinine that's been going on in Britain for a while now. If you didn't know, apparently flying the national flag is racist: In "Great" Britain, you are not allowed to fly the British flag, because the symbol that represents the entire nation is now a "symbol of the far-right", and "anti immigrant".

I really don't have to much to add, I think it speaks for itself. A country's own flag is now not allowed by said country because it offends immigrants. If it wasn't blatantly obvious already, the country is favoring immigrants over its own population. If this doesn't spark a war, I don't know what will.

But it doesn't just end with flags, practically any show of patriotism, major or minor, will earn you some sort of punishment or denouncement from authorities. In other words, liking your country in any way shape or form, or believing your country is better than the others, regardless of the extent or reason, is apparently an act of racism and of the far-right. Do you like Britain? Well then fuck you, you're Hitler now.

In other words, if you fly your own colors, you are considered equal to a Nazi, a being of pure racism and hatred.

I know some of what I've said in the past might be subjective; you might think that everything going on in the UK is actually good, you could be one of the drones that parrot the idea of this somehow protecting children or immigrants or whatever.

Explain to me how the British flag, a symbol representing an entire nation, is now suddenly a far-right symbol, a symbol of hatred against all who are not British, a symbol of fascism and racism. Because it wasn't a month ago.

Read a fucking book with only a lamp a nice drink on the side if you get thirsty. Take your time to read the dam words and sentences and then spend a moment to understand the fucking sentence.

I would even allow Harry fucking Potter in this situation as they are semi competent books with simple themes.

what ppl defending kids on ipads don’t seem to understand is that there are other ways to keep kids occupied. my mom had a whole bag full of little toys and games for me to play with while waiting in lines at disney world. once your kid is like 7 or 8 they can read a book. they can color. or they can literally just sit there and imagine things. i did that a lot as a kid.
