I miss being a witch. Being able to do something with your hands after prayer, even if it isn't much.

Simple Ways to Practice Magick Everyday
Say a small prayer or do a short meditation before you get out of bed in the morning.
Write down dreams or visions you had.
Stir your first cup of coffee or tea counterclockwise to banish negativity and bad luck or clockwise to bring positive energy.
Draw daily tarot or oracle cards (you can also use a pendulum) for guidance.
Cleansing yourself and home using sound or smoke.
Ancestor or spirit offerings
Pick out your clothes, shoes, jewelry... ect with intention.
Write a sigil or petition paper and burn it.
Take a ritual shower. You can spice it up with candles, herbs, and crystals, or you can simply step under the water and imagine all the negativity and bad energy washing off you. You can also recite a chant.
Every time you look into the mirror, say an affirmation
Take a walk outside and ground yourself to Mother Earth.
Dance!! Dancing is an excellent way to rise the energy, and it helps with opening the sacral and solar plexus chakra and getting in touch with the inner child.

Booth, who claims to have never been involved in disruptive protest and to have previously attended one peaceful Youth Demand march on Downing Street, said the arrest had left him with post-traumatic stress disorder. He said the officers who arrested him appeared to be surprised that he lived in supported accommodation for vulnerable adults. After a support worker let the police into his flat, an officer had grabbed his arm, he claimed, and asked whether “I need to put you in handcuffs” before reading him his rights. “They did not know until they turned up that I lived in supported accommodation,” claimed Booth, who is a cleaner on the London underground. “When they arrested me, they said to me: ‘Joe, is this supported accommodation?’ They didn’t know. You would think there would be a system in place when they are going to an address to say this is a care setting.” Booth was in his pyjamas when the police arrived. They searched his bedroom and seized his work phone. He was then taken on a two-hour drive to Kingston police station where he was questioned and held for more than seven hours. [...] Booth said the arrest, which will raise fresh questions about the overpolicing of protest groups, had seriously affected his mental health. He said: “Every time I hear noise in the corridor, even from a distance, I get scared that it might be police, especially when there’s a knock at my door, especially if that knock at my door is early in the morning. “But even if it’s just from support staff or Amazon delivery or whatever, I get scared that it might be police. So my alertness has increased and my anxiety has increased. And I see a therapist every single week, because I always have and he’s in full knowledge of how it’s been affecting me.”

i wish it was more normalized to talk about your religious practices with your friends without it somehow being taken as some attempt to convert them. like frankly i don't care what religion or lack of religion my friends follow!! i just want to talk to them about mine because it's a big part of my day to day life, and feeling like i can't talk about it means leaving out huge parts of my day.

Novena prayer for immigrants
In the name of the father, and of the son, and of the holy spirit. Amen.
O Most Blessed Lord Christ, who understood the need for migration, we ask of you to protect the immigrants of the United states of America from the corrupt powers, who threaten the freedom of their citizenship. Grant them the ability to be protected and secure in your merciful arms, and grant them the freedom to choose their paths and live their lives in peace.
Holy St. Frances Cabrini, patron of immigrants, who dedicated her soul to serving her fellow immigrants, pray for us.
Hail Mary, Our Father, Glory be
Repeat for 9 days. If praying for a specific person or family, add their names after the first prayer.

🌞 Blessed Midsummer 🌞
Today marks my year and a day since I recomitted myself properly back to being a Witch and a Pagan.
I took a morning walk in the countryside to enjoy the rays of the sun before the heat became too unbearable for feeble Brits like myself. I thank Déa for helping me to regain my own power this past year and discover my own Sovereignty as I've explored the Celtic pantheon. She has blessed me and comforted me and saved me in so many ways this past year.
Mother Sophia, High Queen of Heaven, is the Woman Clothed In The Sun for many Gnostics, instead of the Virgin Mary. She is my primary deity as I appreciate the gifts of the sun. I also honour Lady Sulis, solar goddess of healing waters, whose card I placed on my altar for today. Rhiannon and Aine are other solar goddesses I give praise to.
I did not forget the boys either. Lord Cernunnos and King Gwyn ap Nudd represent the Oak and and Holly King respectively for me. Papa Cernunnos has given me much to be grateful for in his half of the year and I'm excited to get to know King Gwyn further.
Hope you all had a lovely Summer Solstice / Rosa Mundi / Litha (or opposite for those across the globe). ☀️ 🌞 ☀️

Crochet Ghost Charms/Garland - mini crochet ghosts on a green crochet vine for your phone or to hand (1 for the charms and ghost pattern, 2 for a vine garland)
Crochet Witchy Frog/Duck - crochet amigurumi frog/duck (or other spring animal) wearing a witches hat (1 for realistic-ish frog, 2 for cute frog, 3 for cute ducks, 4 for tiny witch hat)
Floral Spider Wreath - twig wreath with paper or died flowers, mini plastic spiders and fake spider web through the centre of the wreath (1 for spider wreath inspo, 2 for flower wreath inspo)
Here’s the explanation for fellow baby witches:
Alright so every Australian knows Halloween happens in Spring. Pumpkins are crazy expensive since they're not in season, we have no orange leaves, and Samhain meaning ‘the end of summer’ is not accurate. We also have like, nothing to harvest (as Samhain is a harvest festival) except flowers, because it's still basically winter.
I've mentioned before that if I celebrate the Wheel of the Year, I'll generally celebrate it opposite to the Northern Hemisphere. But I've decided to mix Beltain (celebrated on the 31st of October in the Southern Hemisphere if following the seasonal calendar) and Samhain (celebrated on the 30th of April, reasons as above), so I can still express Samhain through Halloween with the rest of the world.
So these are some basic and creative diy ideas for a Spring Samhain and Beltain crossover, all inspired by brookestyless post on instagram.
Not sure if I'll have the chance to try all of them, but if you do, add the hashtags #springsamhain and #springhalloween so other Southern Hemisphere witches can be inspired! Also, feel free to tag me because I'd love to see how you all celebrate.

My necklace was made before I even created my tumblr account. I wear it everyday, yet it never occurred to me that I could share it here.
This is an Ogham/Ogam protection charm I made by stripping a pine branch, carving a flat edge, and burning the word cosaint (Irish for protection/defense) into the wood. It’s created its own finish with the natural oils from my fingers, enhancing the color and shine of the wood.
