Such grace, such form, such dignity. I love them both.

Does this blog only consider traditional art, or also prose, poetry, cosplay, etc?
This tumblr wascreated with the idea of traditional art in mind (e.g. drawings). However, Ithink this is a fair question.
Therefore, Iwould like to open this question up to our community: Yea: Means we would we like towelcome all types of fanart on this tumblr, whether these are drawings, poemsor pancakes. Nay: Means we would like to keepthis tumblr traditional art centric. But perhaps it would be possible to createsub-tumblrs for different types for fan-art (e.g. a WritersCritters and aCosplayCritters Tumblr?).
Note: The unifying factor for both of theseoptions is still that the artists involved are actively looking for critique.Which mean that besides encouragement, the community will also hopefully providesome fair criticism of the work posted so that we can all help each otherimprove. All artists posting work should be open to critique!
My two cents: Personally,I think this tumblr could benefit from option ‘Yea’, especially if we use afair tagging system that allows people to block those posts they might not beinterested in. This would create a one-stop place for all your critique needs, whichwould also allow us to grow our community!

Hello (new) Critters!
It seems a lot of new critters have joined us for the new campaign and an incredible amount of art has been created and shared. Therefore this feels like an excellent time to remind you all about this tumblr community.
The goal of the ArtCritters Tumblr is to create a community of critter artists that will provide comments and feedback on each other’s art. Getting 100 likes on an art piece is a lot of fun, but getting just a couple of insightful comments can sometimes be a lot more valuable!
How does it work? For specific details on how this tumblr works, please look at this post.
For some additional tips please look here.
But, a brief summary: 1) If you would like to receive feedback or critique on your CR art, please tag art posts with #artcritters (within the first 5 tags!).
2) This tumblr will reblog any CR art from that main tag.
3) Other artists (or any other interested parties) that follow the ArtCritters tumblr will see that post and are encouraged to leave comments on that art piece.
Have fun! Together we can help each other get better, and create a warm community that fosters art talent at every level, whether you are a seasoned pro or just starting out in the Critical Role fanart community!

Hello Art Critters,
We managed to get nearly 150 new followers in the fist 24 hours of this tumblr being live, which is great!
So, now what?
The goal of this Tumblr is to be a community which helps other artists. This requires some active contribution from the people part of the community. This means you. The success of this tumblr is dependent on you occasionally giving feedback to your fellow artists. In fact, even if you are not an artist yourself you can still give feedback to your fellow critters.
If only 5% of you would comment or reply on each art piece reblogged to this tumblr, this endeavour would have already been well worth it.
Please take the time to leave feedback for your fellow artists.
Some tips:
1) If you do not feel like reblogging something, please use the reply button.
2) Note to artists: If you want to receive replies, make sure your reply settings are turned to ‘Everyone can reply’.
3) Do not be intimidated by your fellow artists: all feedback is valuable, even if you somehow think you might not be qualified to give feedback to particular artists. They would still love to hear from you.
4) You do not always have to critique someone, leaving a short encouragement already works wonders.
5) You can still go back right now and reply to previous reblogs by going into the #artcritters tag. Here’s a link. Let’s get the ball rolling!
6) Have fun with it. It can be very rewarding to leave feedback and get thanked for your comments.

Haven’t drawn the good bird boy in a while, but today of all days seemed like a good time to have another go at it. Good luck Vox Machina.
