@arcaneyouth Thank you for the number! you are the only one feeding my desire to talk about my obscure ocs sdgbjsdghsdg Number 237 shifted around a lot because i kept finding OCs that i had to shuffle in to the mix but i did come to a good conclusion which issss! Number 237: 🍀Depression🍀

~Fun Faaaaaaaaacts~!

-A Sanders Sides original character! One of my nine sides, representing depression (obviously) as well as several other things -Depression floated around as an idea for about a year or two before they ever had a design, only being made officially about a month ago. Even then, they only existed as a headshot until I made this drawing. -Depression exists outside of the Light-side/Dark-side dichotomy. However, they are inherently negative overall and next to never contribute anything helpful to the group. -Depression is the second strongest side, winning in every scenario through overwhelming force except against the one strongest side. Despite this, they only ever commit to action occasionally and more often hide away for extended periods. -By far the most closed off and secretive of the sides. Their motives are essentially unknown if they have any. -Agender, no specified pronouns. Prefer to be referred to by name/aspect. (So in this case Depression.) I just used they/them in this explanation for the ease of reading. -If you could see past their hair in this image they'd be staring Straight At The Camera, so have fun with that information -Speaking of which, you can't see their eyes through their hair. They keep them covered under all circumstances, and the other sides don't know what they look like either. -Their representational icon is a clover, which kinda just came to be? I think it originated in my mind because 'my' symbol is a four-point star, and a clover is like a dulled and rounded off version of that. There probably isn't much symbolism behind it beyond that. -This one isn't unique to Depression, but all of the sides have their little symbol on their necklaces except for a few which have them in other places. Some of them also wear them as patterns on their clothing instead of just a single icon. -Lastly. Depression's representational color was originally Black before I settled on a very dark indigo. You can see it a little brighter in some of the more vibrant parts of their clothing. Hope that was informative! I've had a lot of thoughts rolling around in this head of mine about my sides for Ages, so it was great to actually get to rant about one of them! Here's the fun facts!

-In case it wasn't obvious at a glance, Venuli used to be a homestuck OC, but he was divergent enough from canon that i thought he fit better as a miscellaneous humanoid -White blood mutant, time-bound prospit dreamer if you're curious (Yes i know white is not a blood color, i bought him as an adoptable) -He is completely blind, not an ounce of sight in those eyes. That is also what the walking cane is for (I drew it a little plainly here because i never gave it an official design) -However he also is stupidly good at polearm combat and will beat the shit out of you with it should the need arise. -I try to draw him on the younger side but in all honesty I have no idea how old he is -There's a good chance i'll keep his name as is, but i do think the nickname Ven goes pretty hard -Venuli is also a part of a group of characters i have that i just know as "Color Coded," which has each color of the rainbow filled with a different character as well as black and white. And guess what last time I LIED the numbers actually go up to 241- Send in a number and a 🎇 and i'll draw one of my characters and tell you about em!

Here's the fun facts!

-Quill is one of the first characters I ever bought with money 👍 -Quill is an english major which I project all of my college angst onto and also all of my writing struggles -He is a transman, which i don't usually say for no reason because it feels like i'm outing him, but ye! respect, he rocks his aesthetic. -I've been building this collection of characters around Quill. Currently he has a qpp, romantic partner, at least 3 annoying friends, and at least 2 nice wholesome buddies. All of them are disasters and should not be left without supervision. (You can find all of those dumbasses here) -Quill is a part of a trio of characters I have that I call the Favorites. Quill has my favorite design of characters I didn't make myself, and he is also one of the characters I have the most art of. -Quill is writing his own book! I have not decided what genre it is, but I'm leaning towards a poetic thriller mystery, potentially with a bit of gothic fantasy! That's all the facts for now, thanks for the prompts!
