                        TJ just buried his face in her shoulder , grateful for the support she was giving him right now , even though he couldn’t cry right now , he knew he would once he was back at home to say his last goodbyes. right now he just felt numb , he didn’t know what to feel , he still was processing the horrible news. „ you don’t have to be. “ , he replied , his voice quiet , as he was trying to get what was coming next. he wouldn’t be able to just drink and his face was even paler than before as he pulled slightly away to look at his best friends expression. did he want to say goodbye ? sure , but he wasn’t sure about being able to say goodbye. seeing her one last time ? before she would be put six feet under ? he could feel his stomach turn as he thought about his nanny in her deathbed and he scrunched up his nose to avoid letting the tears spill once more , before he just nodded. the next half an hour passed by like a movie , far too quickly and he barley could manage to focus anything else than his thoughts , which went a million miles per hour , as he stared out the car window. he even blinked twice once the car had come to a stop and there was a low ‘thank you’ coming from his lips as he got out of the car and stared at the house. his feet carried him towards the door , but he pressed his lips together. he couldn’t do this. he couldn’t say goodbye. he didn���t want to say goodbye and for the first time since he heared the news , he let the tears spill now , his whole body trembling as a sob came from his lips while he stood there.

there’s nothing else she can do to help this situation other than simply BE HERE for him. whatever he needs. ❛ I know I don’t need to be, but I am all the same... ❜ she murmurs quietly, rubbing his back slowly. watching TJ carefully as he processes what she says about going to see his grandmother before it’s too late. but she knows how important it is, even if he seems like he doesn’t really like the idea very much. which is understandable. it makes it real. SO real. too real for some people. but, he has to have the option to do it. so, Jaxx leads TJ out to her car and gets him inside. then she drives the vaguely familiar route back to the large house. she watches as he gets out, but gets out with him after turning the car off. no one should have to do this alone and she really doesn’t know if his family will really be super supportive of him at this time. when he stops outside the door, Jaxx bites her lip at the sound of the first sob that he lets slip. stepping up behind her friend, she lays a hand on his shoulder. ❛ you can do this, TJ... ❜
