The Baba Dacha is finished! Isn’t she beautiful? I put a whole lot into this piece and hopefully it shows. What could have been a somewhat simple A-frame house was compounded by the internal rooms, each with their own sculptural elements and lighting. I’ll post some of those pics a little later. First round of sculpting on the A-frame lady. I used Magic Sculpt for the first time, a 2 part epoxy clay. Honestly, I was a little doubtful about how it would work out and how much detail it would hold, but after playing around with it, I’m sold. It’s cured hard as a rock so now I can go back through and sand it in places. Have any of you used epoxy clays before?
