When you haven't done art for a while and you realise how awful you are :'c It's okay though, everything takes practice. They look very stiff but I originally just wanted to practice faces ;_; (I didn't focus too much on the colouring, clothes, body and hair :'))

I tried out my new polychromos colours on this old sketch yesterday ^^; The colouring looks basic because idk how to use them yet :'D It was fun though since I didn't put pressure on myself that it had to look perfect. ...and the highlights look funny but IT DOESN'T MATTER. I'm probably going to re-draw him in a setting as well because I like him a lot (idk when tho).

It was painted for a friend of mine because she wanted to photoshop wings onto her passed away cat >< She asked me if I had photoshop for that (and I didn't) so I made this for her instead. He was called kisen 💕 She said he was mischievous; Now he's her mischievous little guardian angel ^^;

Finally done with my self-portrait ^^ Tbh it's beautified/cartoonified because I didn't exactly follow my picture to a 100% with the facial structures :') My original thought was to make this my art display picture but I don't know anymore.... I wouldn't say this is my regular style of art cus I don't feel like realism/semi-realism is my thing, at least not when it comes to painting or drawing people. I did enjoy the process though c: The white highlights always makes a piece wholesome *-*

This one doesn't have a name because it was more like a "sketch" type of watercolour painting where I experimented with my new white ink as well as masking fluid. Not one of my best xD The colours in the background are so me though.

“Masked Distress” Close up ^^

”Masked Distress” Ahhhh, I'm finally done with this recreation of my old OC to enter @toshiasan 's event on insta. I'm in love with her art style so I encourage you to check her out on there! ;A;

This piece took me so long to finish because I kept taking breaks since I wasn't too confident with myself. I'm honestly not sure how to describe the character's history other than the fact that she has been bottling up a lot of feelings as well as kept up a front in order not to make anyone uncomfortable. The masks are a way to describe this feeling where you're in the verge of going insane because of how chaotic things are in your head. They also symbolize the whole concept of "wearing a mask" and not showing one's true feelings. I wanted the masks to portray the stage before the explosion, where you're actually laughing in distress instead of crying, and you desperately try to push more of your feelings into your overloaded box; all of this because you still "have to" keep your shit together. I'm not so good at explaining things but I hope it made sense somehow ^^; I think I prefer the old portrayal of her a bit better but I'm still pretty happy with how this version turned out as well. I'm not entirely done because I wanted her eyes to be metallic. I don't have any metallic colours at the moment though so that will have to wait ;-; I plan to do more artwork of her in the future, but as for now I want to focus more on the ideas that I haven't had the chance to carry out ><

"Dreamistique" ~ Inspired by an old photo I took when I was at Railay, Krabi, Thailand. It was such a dreamy place. I added the purples, pinks and oranges to give it a dreamier feel ~

One day I randomly decided to walk into my youngest brother to sketch him. I brought my sketchbook with me, sat on the floor and started observing him. He looked at me, looked at my sketchbook, nodded in aknowledgement and continued to play his game lmao.

I showed Hannah the two quick sketches at the top. She then said she wanted a sketch of us together, and so I fulfilled her wish x'D
