Which character do you think will be the most fun to work with within the comic as far as personality and expressions and everything?

Recently, I feel like Jay's design face-wise has been straying away a little from his original concept. So I took some time to do a quick update on his facial features to make him look less like a 10-year-old with facial hair haha..The bottom one is a w.i.p of one of the panels from the tester 'pilot' episode!

Hmm..at the moment I’m saying Avery but my opinion on this changes pretty much every day haha!

*literally just started following this blog because your art is LITERALLY PERFECT* Could you tell me more about the characters? uvu Names and stuff...

The main characters are Jay, Avery, Maxine, Maori, Zion, and Tamia !They are all in their late teens/early twenties and have known each other in some way since around middle school. Hmm..Jay and Maxine are brother and sister (Jay being the older sibling even though they look like twins), and Jay is like seriously best friends with Avery even though their personalites are total opposites.  Zion is the oldest (21) and the only one who’s not in school. Instead he’s working to help support his family~

I have a lot more on them haha..!

What programs/materials do you use for your art?

Pretty much all of the lineart for my drawings is done in pencil with some pen used to darken certain areas. I usually sketch in pencil too but sometimes I’ll use like..blue, pink, or orange colored pencil if I’m trying to get cleaner lineart. Once I’m happy with how it looks I scan it, tint the lines to a color (usually a brown or reddish-brown) and color it in GIMP. I’ve thought about other programs to use for coloring but I’ve been using GIMP for like…years now so it’s just easy for me. :)
