I was keen to read the next chapter of a story I’ve been following today. I was excited for the update and I accidentally scrolled past the chapter notes. I wish I hadn’t, because the chapter - the final in the story, no less - had a terrible plot twist which made everything leading up to the moment suddenly fake and gross.

The FMC was betrayed by her lover and her life was about to be destroyed.

Mind the tags and the chapter notes like I forgot to - was already having an emotionally funky day before this and now I feel like I’ve done the ice bucket challenge 🫣
