Prompt 3 - The Vessel
Sensation can in a fuzzy overload. The sheer amount of feelings overwhelmed Ezra, nearly knocking him out once again. He tried to move upwards, but this body did not respond. This body...felt. It was heavy. Heavier than expected. He could feel every blade of grass cutting into his skin, although the wetness of blood was not felt. This body was warm, yet cold at the same time. The biting wind causing this body to writhe in it's grasp. His tongue was lead in his mouth and his teeth ached in his sore gums. His muscles screamed and hissed with every movement, yet yearned to be stretched and molded.
His fingers twitched and his toes curler as he tried to move. Itchiness spreading all thorighout his being. How horrible it is to feel. His head throbbed and his neck ached from the effort to lift his head. It lulled back and forth as the body follows the motion of his head. Sitting up, he could feel his muscles contract and expand. Every shift and movement sending electric waves throughout his lead filled body. The thundering echo of his heart rang through his skull, reverberating in his ears. Tye wind howled and everything sounded too loud, muffling all thoughts.
His hands reluctantly agreed to his demands, lifting up to his face. Long and tender fingers met his gaze. His new eyes rover over his body - his? When had he begun to think that? - it was tanned and lithe, just as his hands. Legs long and sitting uselessly. The bottom of his feet and hands lighter than the rest. He felt his face, curly hair adorned head, fingers brushing against a large nose. Yet the burning of the stars on his shoulders remained prominent over all other feelings.

Prompt 2 - Unrequited Love Poem
My heart swells upon seeing you,
Despite my brain telling it to stop
The warmth in my cheeks deepen
with you near me
Always wanting you closer
Your face invades my mind,
Smile becoming my sun,
Eyes morphing into my moon.
Pulling me in
Pulling me close
Yet never close enough
Twisted around your finger
Following your every whim.
Never falter
Its not in my nature
I grasp at straws
Looking for any signs
Signs you feel the same
That I'm your sun
I invade your every waking, sleeping thought
I consume your every being
Yet none are found
A barren desert
Oases at every corner
But I only get
A mouthful of sand

Prompt 1 - Outside the window
As Crimson set down his armor, a reflection caught his eye. There, in the window, was the tell-tale sign of the well-known criminal Eclipse. His dark, murky haze floated outside the window. Crimson sighed deeply, putting his helmet on the coffee table. He'd be able to properly put it away once this nuisance was dealt with. His face was set into a scowl, the most annoyed one he could muster, hoping Eclipse would get the hint that he's not wanted here. So why was his heart racing as he approached the window? He killed that thought.
Once Crimson was close enough to the window, the dark haze shifted and morphed into a solid mass, taking in the appearance of Eclipse. His bright hair almost like a beacon in the night. He was floating outside Crimson's apartment - why he didn't just use the door was beyond Crimson. Eclipse's muffled talking and pointing at the latched window made Crimson roll his eyes - Eclipse could easily slip into here without needing Crimson to open the window - but he moved to obediently open it. Obediently. Like some sort of dog. Hi scowl deepened.
"Jeez, I was freezing out there!" Eclipse said as he gracefully entered through the window.
"Then wear more clothes," Crimson snapped back as he crossed his arms. Eclipse raised his hands in a pleading motion, causing Crimson to roll his eyes as he moved to grab his armor, "Close that window Eclipse," He ordered. That's more like it, he thought as Eclipse silently did so.
Crimson put his armor where it belonged - on a mannequin in his bedroom - Eclipse following him wordlessly. Soon the, frankly creepy, silence was too much for Crimson.
"Why are you here?" He snapped, "Just to watch me?" Crimsons voice raised.
Eclipse blinked a couple time, shrugged and said, "Kind of yeah. Gets boring just watching from the window,"

Crimson Flame and Eclipse
Crimson Flame couldn’t hear the Villain behind him, there were no physical clues as to where he currently was. But Crimson knew. He always knew. It was like the Villain enjoyed toying with him, always letting him know of his current position, but just a small step ahead of all of Crimson's moves, one tiny ledge above him, as much as he hated to admit it. Crimson's eyes rolled behind his visor as he stopped in his tracks. He sighed deeply, “If you have something to say Eclipse, then just say it,” Crimson brought his gaze towards the pulling presence at his side, the presence he knew was the well-known villain Eclipse.
“C’mon dude, we’re practically friends. Call me by my name. My real name,” Eclipse said as he materialized out of thin air. Although, not quite thin air. The dark haze that had surrounded the shadows of the alley moments before Eclipse showed himself congealed and solidified into the human form Eclipse seems to favor. His costume is barely anything more than a pair of billowy pants, the ends somehow stuffed into leg wrappings that seem to fit the form of his legs, no added bulk covering the ends of the pants. Thin, leather shoes that seemed better fit for a gymnast, or acrobatist as opposed to a renowned villain. The same fabric used as wrappings on his legs were wrapped around his waist to keep the heavy-looking pants up. Two long flowing strands of wrapping from the makeshift belt brushed against the floor, each ending in a star-like pattern. His arms are adorned with the same wrappings, traveling from his shoulders to clinging around his hands. The wrappings ombre from magenta to light blue as they travel from his feet to his hands. The two strands of wrapping from his belt held a bright white star painted on the end, almost glowing with a blue light. His chest is bare, almost inviting anyone to attack him, although no scars traced his skin. One white star, glowing like the one painted on the trailing strands from his belt, were placed on each shoulder, showing through the wrappings that overlapped them. His piercing silver eyes held onto Crimson, one light blue, nearly white, eyebrow quirked up as a small smile played over his lips. His hair, similar to his eyebrows and many star motifs playing along his body and costume, was nearly glowing, slightly curled, and bounced with every movement.
“You just gonna stare at me Crims?” Eclipse cocked his head to the side as he questioned the Hero. Crimson startled, he didn’t realize he was staring.
Crimson huffed as he crossed his arms, still waiting for an answer for his previous question. They stared at each other for a beat, Crimsons eyes narrowing behind his visor, never breaking eye contact with Eclipse. Eclipse rolled his eyes, sighing. He ran his hands through his hair, muttering something Crimson couldn’t make out.
“I-... I learned-... Ugh, I mean…There-...” Eclipse stuttered and stumbled through his words, hands wringing together nervously as he looked all around, as if his answer might be on the walls.
“Spit it out Eclipse,” Crimson snarled. He was in no mood to deal with his shenanigans.
Eclipses’ gaze snapped towards Crimson, fidgeting stopped momentarily, then continued once again as his mouth opening and closing like a gaping fish. He stammered out, “Wh- whats up with the mask man?” He shrugged into himself, a nervous smile on his face.
Crimson stared with wide eyes at Eclipse, unblinking. It felt as if his visors eyes widened as well to convey his sheer shock. This personal nuisance. Constantly pestering him with a barrage of useless questions and worthless small talks. Following him around constantly, either as his smokey form or human. Dragging him to this hidden area to distract him once again from his duties. Only to ask him why he wears a mask — he couldn't even get the name right. Fury ignited in Crimsons body. Contained and sweltering in his full body disguise. This slack-jawed, disgustingly attractive, slime-brained, absolute personal hell of a person was sent to Crimson just to torture him. It grated against every fiber of his being. Fire igniting all throughout his body, fueled by Eclipses’ ever present stare. Crimson felt as if he was going to burn through the crust of the earth.
“..what?” His voice was small, but filled with such an untamed fury it made Eclipse flinch.
“No, no, no. Listen to me dude!” Eclipse backed himself against the wall as Crimson slowly stepped closer, “One of the guys in the hideout was talking about, y'know? Taking the hero's prized possession, so they were gonna take your mask!” He chuckled nervously, “A-and we've never really ever seen your face, I-I don't even think the other heros have, but-”
Crimson cut him off with a raised hand, “Silence,” he hissed, “You've held back on your side of the agreement for far too long. This is the last straw,” Crimson got in Eclipses face, “I want you to tell me where that hideout is, now,”
Eclipse gulped and smiled nervously as he looked around, but Crimson didn't dare to take his eyes off Eclipse — he would surely slip away if he did. Eventually Eclipse's shoulders sagged and he dragged his gaze back to Crimson, and quietly said, “Yeah. Yeah, fine. I'll meet you at your apartment for a run down,”
“What?” Crimson was extremely confused, how did he know where he lived? He felt Eclipse's form turn to shadow, and instinctively tried to hold on to the gaseous form, to keep him there to answer his questions, “ECLIPSE! Don't you run away from me!” The shadow left his grasp, “Answer me!” But Crimson knew he was just screaming into the void at this point. The presence that accompanies Eclipse was gone, so all Crimson could do was angrily kick or punch at whatever trash that was lying here. When Crimson got his hands on him he was sure to rip Eclipse limb from limb with his gauntlets. Crimson never even felt Eclipse's presence near him when he was at home, or when walking home — without his disguise — so how had Eclipse known? Regardless, Crimson angrily made his way back to his apartment, sticking to the shadows so no one would see him, he's definitely going to be more careful about walking home now.

June Coone - Raccoon Theif
(June uses they/them pronouns)
June sat in the very well-organized and clean room, having been dragged there to talk to the influential figure sitting before them. The dark wood desk had a small cluster of papers being scooped into the figure's hands, straightening them out. As he laid his hands on the papers to look up to June he said, “Now… June Coon was it?” He chuckled lightly and muttered, “What a coincidental name,” He raised a hand indicating June to speak.
“Uhm… y-yes suh’ thas’ my name. Don’ wear it out,” June chuckled, tail flicking nervously.
“No need to be so nervous now June, I called you in here for beneficial reasons,” He huffed a laugh, “My friends in the lobby, which you were just in yes? They handed back some reports which were very interesting.”
“L-listen ‘m sorry ‘bout all this…” June waved their hand around in an attempt to find the right words, “This…chaos me an’ my friends here have caused. I swear it was never intended to end up like this.”
“No no no. On the contrary my raccoon friend. Me and my friends in this humble building loved your little groups' shenanigans. It increased our gold count double from your entertainment, and everyone seemed much more ready to give even more gold to our tables,” He lightly chuckled as he leaned on his hands, threading them together as his head leaned against them.
“I-I’m so sorry suh’ but… ‘m ‘fraid I don’ rightly know what y’all’re talkin’ ‘bout.” June laid their accent on thick, hoping that whether or not he was serious, it’d still help June get out of this in one piece.
“Hah, it’s quite alright, so lemme just say one thing. If you guys can drag in that size of crowd and keep everyone happy just like you did tonight, I’ll let your little group keep all the money people give you. I’ll even be oh so generous and give you some extra money on days you don’t make as much if you guys did well that week,”
June stared in disbelief. They thought they were going to get banned at best and jailed at worst. They didn’t expect to be offered a job, so —admittedly— they were hesitant to accept this almost too-good-to-be-true offer. June tried to quickly run through what could go wrong during this job.
The party could get found out and be trapped like a sitting duck, or after they gain the gold this figure will lie and rat them out to the authorities. June slightly shook their head, they needed to talk this over with the party — there was no way they could make this decision all by themselves.
“Thas’ a mighty kind offa’ suh’. But ‘m ‘fraid ‘m unable tah’ answer at the moment. I gotta talk this over with my party before I make any big decisions. I hope ya’ don’ mind none,” June talked quickly hoping to get their opinion across before getting interrupted.
“Ohoho, none at all my friend.” He laughed at Junes’ obviously nervous and relieved demeanor, “I’ll give you until tomorrow to provide an answer. I may be patient but I won’t wait forever y’know.” He stood up from the desk, gesturing for June to follow, which they quickly did, and walked towards the door opening it for June.
“Thank ya’ kindly suh’. I promise I’ll getcha an answer real quick like.” June took off their hat and offered a smile they hoped conveyed only the most thankful of feelings, as if the offering were the most generous thing they had heard of.
“Of course, now go on and tell your little group. My — or perhaps now our — friends in the lobby will show you the way to your rooms.”
June nodded thanks and returned their hat to their head, running off to find the party and relay the news. They couldn’t believe they’d be offered a job at a place they’d just stolen from, but apparently, June could still be surprised. They sauntered out of the hallway leading from the figure's office, all but skipping and chittering with glee at their newfound predicament until they saw their party. June stopped in their tracks.
The lobby was in chaos. Playing cards littered all over the floor, drinks and crushed glass covered the once pristine carpet. Tables were overturned and broken with bodies lying on top. June couldn’t tell if they were alive or dead, the liquid around them could’ve easily been blood or spewed drinks. There were few patrons around the area now, only the ones that had been passed out drunk and now the unconscious or dead over tables. Junes' eyes skittered around the mess of a gambling hall to find their party. They grew more anxious as they spun around, finding no trace of them. June slowly tried to walk around the now sticky floor, trying to avoid the glass and bodies. They wished they wore shoes.
June was so enraptured by trying to figure out what had happened to the room and their party while they were in the office for what couldn’t have been more than thirty minutes, that they didn’t even notice when a body came up behind them and yanked them off the ground. June was immediately squirming and writhing in their arms to escape, the grip only tightening around them until they could hardly breathe. June quickly switched tactics to attack the attacker and slashed out with their claws, biting anything and everything that wasn’t themself. Their snapping maw was snatched shut and their claws immediately flew up to their mouth to get whatever it was off. A tight cloth held their muzzle in place no matter how hard they tried to scratch and tear at the stubborn fabric. June looked up to find the danger that was currently holding them in place and saw the figure they were just talking to. Their heart dropped, and they went limp in the enforcers' grasp. Their jaw would’ve dropped if it had any room too.
The world came to in fits and starts. Their sight blurry, and their hearing muffled. June's mouth felt like lead. Their head throbbed and shrieked with any movement. A tight pull on their upper body and legs the only indication that they are — in fact — awake.
