Last March, we had to leave our home in the Central Governorate and head south. We had a beautiful home of which I was very proud – the boys' bedrooms were decorated with their favorite toys, and every evening when I came home from work I would cook delicious traditional food for us to share. It was a happy family home.

We fled to Rafah in the south and were forced to live in a displacement area among tents containing more than 100,000 other people, with almost no water or food. We lost weight and got sick. After three months there, we decided to flee again to the Central Governorate after the Israeli army threatened to enter the Rafah area and bomb the city.

It pains me that my lovely boys now have no childhood to speak of, and that I must watch them lose weight and grow sick because I cannot provide them fresh food or enough food.

The worst thing is to see my children frightened. The shelling is non-stop and close, it makes them shake with fear. I still cannot believe how much they have lost - their home, their school, family and friends, three meals a day, and so much more.

Your generous money will help us escape Gaza. Given the opportunity, we can build a good life outside Gaza, support our families, and contribute to the economy.

We are in desperate need of security. You cannot imagine the massive devastation around us. We have no homeland or life to return to in Gaza.

Your contribution will go towards the following:

US$5,000 each for the coordinated transfer to Egypt (ashraf), his wife, Mona, Emarat and Mazyouna (US$32,000)

3,000 USD each to transfer to Egypt for my younger children Mona, Emarat and Mazyouna (= 9,000 USD)

$1000 per order

US$12,000 for accommodation for approximately six months so we can find our feet, start work and studies and cover medical costs for both existing issues and health problems we have suffered since our displacement in March 2023

=32,000 USD in total
