ive been on a bit of a space/alien kick lately and that maybe influenced who i chose to hit this year. but theres so many wonderful alien ocs i couldnt even get to them all!!!

i am participating in artfight again this year and i looked back on older attacks and its so fascinating to look at how my style has changed over the years.

my first artfight was before i went to art school and really focused on training to be a stronger artist and i think my growth is really clear just looking pre art school, the 3 years of school and then my two years since graduating.

i put serena the bunny girl in my application portfolio and clara the zombie ended up in my final grad portfolio.

i have mixed feelings on my education but theres no denying that i am a stronger artist because of it. i live doing artfight every year because it gives me a screen shot of how my skills have evolved exactly a year later, year after year after year.
