Sunstone walked aimlessly, humming a soft tune as she went. She didn’t really know where she was going and she let her feat decided. However, she stopped when she heard a voice off in the distance. Pausing for a moment she listened intently to the song. It was unfamiliar but lovely. Sunstone had to find the source and move to find it.

Chalc's eyes widened at the sight. "Woah.... cool!" She looked at the mini Topazes for a while. "Haha, they're so cute and small."

Chalc turned to the other gem and gave a forgiving smile. "It's alright, it wasn't your fault. I'll have to get over it one day, anyways. So, what's your story? If you don't mind me asking, of course."

Chalc sighed. "Well, it's not the happiest of stories but.. here I go," She fiddled with her braid and looked downwards. "I'll try to sum this up a bit. Anyways, I was a guard of sorts on a planet under Yellow Diamond. It was the most boring time of my life, until I met another gem. We became very close and ditched our duties together." She looked off into the distance, trying to keep her cool. "We even fused. But, we got caught, and the other gem was poofed. A small shard split off of it and I was able to grab it before anyone caught me. I looked back, but they had shattered him." She rubbed her eyes, still looking away. "I escaped on a ship and nearly crashed onto this planet. And, here I am."

"Me neither," Chalc said, "Except, I can't really go back anyways.." She looked at the other gem, still managing a small smile. "It's a long story."
