Chaz stared back, afraid that making any sort of slight movement would draw her back to him. Only when she disappeared from his sight did he exhale.

Niffty bounced outside the hotel, her boots tapping against the pavement in rhythmic excitement. She’d been waiting for this moment all day, her thoughts full of the secret plans she had for her and Chaz. She'd been so sure of it—he was her boyfriend, after all, they had that special connection, right?

She spotted him, leaning against a streetlight, looking rather unbothered as usual. With a grin as wide as her enthusiasm, Niffty skipped up to him, her voice filled with over-the-top cheerfulness.

“Chazzyyy! I got us a surprise! You’re gonna love it!” She threw her arms around his shoulders in a hug, then pulled back, holding a small, glittering box. “I got this just for you—because you’re my super special boyfriend, of course!”

Her grin widened, eyes sparkling as she waited for him to say something—anything, really—that would affirm their connection. If only he’d see things her way...

“What do you think? Pretty cute, huh?” She giggled, leaning in closer. "You’re gonna love what’s inside!" ( @maidniffty )

He laughs nervously, trying to regain some kind of composure. As Niffty gets closer and holds out the strange box, he gulps. Who knows what could be in there?

Chaz is able to force a smile, as nervous as he is. He didn’t want to know what she would do if he didn’t like her gift.

He closes the box and places it in his pocket. He would definitely need to wash that rented suit out A LOT.

Yogirt flaps his wings aggressively to keep up with Chaz’s walking pace as they walk through the reception room.

“Please, help yourself to refreshments and snacks.” Yogirt gestures over to a very nice coffee machine that is basically an IPad Keurig mixed together.

“Above all else, wear your socks in designated areas and before you come back..” Yogirt looks down at Chaz’s boots discriminatorily “You can leave those in here.”

Hate Speech - the Lutualverse is a fun spinoff of the Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss settings and isn’t the place for social or political commentary. We’re just here for the various shades of queer relationships; if you’re not, kindly move along.

HIATUS MESSAGE

Hello. I just wanted to take the time to formally announce my hiatus from tumblr RPs.

Life has been hella rough and I just don’t have as much time or energy to get back to responses, answer asks, or start new threads right now. I hate to use my mental/physical health as an excuse, but all I can do is just describe myself as tired.

This isn’t goodbye. I’m very much still invested in the Lutualverse and everything we (the loots) have done together. I just need some time to reconnect with myself and not beat myself up for not being able to be present in RP-space 24/7.

Hello, friends! I’m going to start sharing my ko-fi page again for tips. Unfortunately, I’ve got some big expenses at the moment that I can’t afford. I’m disabled and my wife’s income is all we have. This is what they are:

1) Our car needs transmission work. We only have one vehicle and my wife needs it to get to work. Transmissions can cost thousands to repair.

2) The AC in our home is broken. It’s getting hotter out and I have a condition called POTS that essentially makes my heat tolerance nonexistent. I can get very sick. I also have ten pets in the house that don’t deserve to suffer from the heat.
