ASKS?? ASKS!!
I’ve been thinking that its probably time to make one of these because my blog is not getting anywhere as fast as I’d like it to. So if you could, can you boost this post for me? I have more characters to introduce that I haven’t been able to even hint at yet!
“Like” this if you want me to send you an ask, but I encourage you to send me asks too because currently I have zero lol. (also anon is on!)
I’ve added an Ask Hints page and Information about the blog too, as well as some updates to my Character page. Thanks everyone!

(Allen @ ThighHighs): "Wh-what other exercises d-do you d-do, miss?" The dumb Umbreon asked, slowly sitting down and hoping she would not question his stutter. "You d-don't look b-bad at all t-too. Y-you look v-very p-pretty."
“Well thank you for the complement, I suppose I could share...” ThighHighs smiled, knowing what its like to deal with a stutter. “I... usually...” She glanced at a bag nearby, the smell of burning fabric still emanating from it. “Use a training vest that adds extra weight to myself, it helps with building strength and stamina. I run twenty-five laps around, through, and over a river. Then I take a twenty minute brake, sitting in the river. It helps build up a resistance to water and water attacks. I do another ten laps while trying to stay off the ground as much as possible, jumping through trees... and usually end up getting leaves and such stuck in my fur. That is the worst part, ahah hah~.”
“I... used to also practice using my moves. But I would have to go into a Pokemon Center after that and um... going in alone isn’t something I liked doing. The most recent time I used any of my moves was... not important, I guess.” She frowned as a certain Typhlosion entered her thoughts. “Because someone owes me a new vest.”

Just before sunrise isn’t a time when many are awake, people or Pokemon. So it was the perfect time for three Pokemon to walk on Route 35 without Trainers giving them trouble. The first two, ThighHighs and a Victreebel, looked much more awake than the Typhlosion that trailed behind them. He kept his eyes off the two in front of him since they were content with only giving him attention when he tried to leave. Any attempts he made to ask where they were going, or what was in the bag that the Victreebel was carrying, was met with silence. So he trudged behind them, looking up at the pink  and black tinted clouds and brightening sky.
“Sooooo…” Sue sighed, amused at the sight of his breath clouding the air in front of him. “National Park huh, did you two drag me out here to watch the sun rise? Want to get a drink out of the fountain before the guards show up? Want to uh… fertilize Tanga?” That made the plant-type stop. It made an angry gurgling noise as it turned to ThighHighs and pointed a leaf back at the Typhlosion.
ThighHighs looked back nervously. “Are you sure? I think we could keep going a bit longer.” Tanga then shook it’s head and gestured at Sue again. “Annoying you that much is he. Well… okay.” She took in a breath of the cool morning air and faced an equally annoyed Sue. “So… I umm… I know…”
“You know what?” Sue huffed and folded his arms. “Stop stalling and just come out with it already.”
“I know that you think I’m… not improving!”
“Ah. Is that all? Hows that so important that you had to drag me out here?”
“I want to show you… something.”
Sue gave her an odd look and leaned forward. “Go on.”
“Every few days I… come out here with Tanga and we…” She looked back at the Victreebel, which shook its head. “No, more like just me. I come out here and train.”
Sue’s eyes widened. “Can you repeat that?”
“I train! As in for battles, I always have.” She felt herself start to shake, but she managed to suppress it. “You m-might not think so but I don’t l-like being like this.” She paused for a moment and expected a response. She stared at the Typhosion and he stared back. “I… want things to go back to the way they were as much as you do.” The two stood quietly across from one another. Tanga looked between the two Pokemon and made an annoyed grunt. She hopped next to ThighHighs, tapped her and made a pushing motion at the Typhlosion.
“Ummhm.” She cleared her throat. “Aren’t you… going to say anything?”
He stared at her for a few more seconds before giving a response. “Why are you training?”
ThighHighs blinked and tilted her head. “Didn’t I just tell you?”
He huffed. “I know there is more to it than that. Out with it.”
“Well…” She remembered something she had been asked. “Keeping… my figure is another reason I guess.” She turned her head, suddenly feeling bashful.
“Keeping your…” Sue burst out in laughter, earning him and irritated glare from Tanga. “Aha ha… females…” He muttered.
A vine shot out from under one of the Victreebel’s leaves and wrapped around Sue’s midsection. His laughter stopped as he was roughly pulled forward.
He landed on his belly with a thump, a grin still on his face. He got up and dusted himself off as he turned to ThighHighs.“Yeah yeah, lead the way then.”
She took in a breath of fresh air and turned towards the park. “Okay, lets go.”
Another hour of walking got the trio to their destination, a small river deep in the forest surrounding the National Park, far enough away that not even the cheers from the Pokeathlon Dome could reach them. The sun had gotten high enough for wild Pokemon to awaken. ThighHighs, Tanga, and Sue were greeted with the chirps of wild bird Pokemon as they pushed through the last few bushes.
"Whoa, nice place." Sue stared to look around but a loud thud right next to his foot made him jump back. Tanga made a trilling noise, earning her a sneer from the Typhlosion. He looked down and noticed it was the bag that had nearly crushed his foot. "What the? What do you have in that thing?"
"Don't you remember?" ThighHighs asked. Tanga opened the bag using her vines and removed a black vest. Sue tilted his head, not recognizing it at first. He then noticed several zippers and raised pockets as Tanga slipped it over ThighHighs' head and back. She grunted uncomfortably and adjusted to the new weight as Tanga pulled the straps tight.
"Ah, the harness... haven't really needed to use that." Sue said, waving his hand dismissively. Tanga turned to him and poked at his belly with one of her vines. "... Are you calling me fat you overgrown squash?" The two were about the get into a glaring match before ThighHighs cleared her throat. Sue growled at the grass-type before turning his gaze to ThighHighs.
"I wish you two would get along already." She looked disapprovingly at the two Pokemon as she stretched out her hind legs, one after the other. She bowed, stretched her back and tails then lied down. "Okay..."
Sue and ThighHighs stared at each other for a few seconds. "... Okay?"
"I um... Right!" She got back up and trotted over the the river's edge and stopped. "I... don't usually have someone watching me."
"Well what about..." Sue pointed next to him, but found that Tanga was gone. He turned around, looked over his shoulder, and scratched his head. "Where did she go?"
"She usually comes back in an hour or two." ThighHighs called behind her. She stood still near the river as Sue watched, another moment passed before he spoke up again.
"Would it help if I closed my eyes?"
"No no! I can do this." She took a deep breath and faced the river upstream. "Hopefully." She said to herself.
ThighHighs jogged slowly along the edge of the river at first, getting herself readjusted to the extra weight of the harness. She reached a small tree on the river bank and moved slightly into the river. The slow current pushed against her and offered more resistance.
Sue steeped up the the edge of the river and gazed in the direction she set off. "What is she doing? Water is going to tire her out faster." He watched her reach another, much taller, tree near the river bank. ThighHighs sprang out of the water and onto one of its low branches. She jumped up to another that stretched over the river, ran across it and leaped to the ground on the other side of the water. "Or... not." Sue blinked in surprise as she came sprinting back toward him, and then past him; water flying off her and sparking in the morning sun.
She made her way across the river, jumping on a large rock in the water then to the other side. As she faced back to where Sue had been standing, she found he on all four of his paws facing her. She came running past him and he ran along side her.
"W-what are you doing?" She managed to pant out, trying to keep focus.
He glanced at her with a toothy grin. "Can't handle a little competition, Sparkles? You can tell Tanga how fat I am after I beat ya!" He sped past her and ran around the small tree near the river bank.
"Hey that is c-cheating!" She yelled while running against the current.
Sue jumped onto the tree trunk and used his claws to reach the branch going over the river. "I prefer to call it winning!" He reached the other side of the river just as she managed to jump onto the first branch of the tree. "Better keep up." He looked over his shoulder, but didn't see her. He slowed down and felt water drip onto him from above. He glanced up just in time to see ThighHighs jumping branch to branch above him. "How did she!" He growled under his breath.
ThighHighs soon ran out of reachable branched that could support her and hopped to the ground, still a good distance in front of Sue. She assumed as much, she didn't waste time or focus looking back to see where he was. She reached the rock again and easily made it across, she almost started another lap before hearing "Oh fuc-" followed by a splash behind her. She turned around to see the Typhlosion crawling back onto the river rock.
"Hey, y-you okay?" She came jogging back while Sue made his way to the water's edge on the other side.
He held up a paw to her while doubled over on the sandy bank."Lets... call this a tie, yeah?"
She stared at him, pouting. "That's not fair, I have always been faster that you!"
"Then how about a tie breaker!" He stood up on his hind legs, steam coming from the back of his neck quickly followed by fire flaring up from the red spots. "Fire verses fire!"
"U-u-ummm..." ThighHighs stammered and lowered her head, this time unable to stop herself from shaking. She really wanted to blame it on the water clinging to her fur and the harness.
"Hey don't start freaking out, you brought me out here to show me you made progress!" Sue pointed at her and breathed out a small plume of fire. "So show me! And no Calm Mind!"
"It's not a battle. It's not a battle." She repeated in her head, breathing slower to calm herself. She stooped shaking and raise her head to look back at Sue. "... Alright."
He stared back her, and brought his paw back to cover his mouth. He looked like he was rubbing water away, but it was really to hide a smile. "On the count of three then!"
ThighHighs took in a deep breath, feeling a warmness in her chest.
"One!"
Another deep breath, her chest grew hot.
"Two!"
She exhaled, the familiar feeling of fire danced across her tongue. She took in another breath.
"Three!"
She opened her mouth and released a red and orange stream of fire. It met a similar attack from Sue right in the middle of the river. The water went from steaming to boiling in seconds. ThighHighs could see that the fireball from the two flamethrowers was steadily getting closer to her. She breathed in through her nose and felt her chest burn. Her fire pushed back against the Typhlosion's. Seeing this, the fire around Sue's neck raised in temperature, turning yellow and orange. He closed his mouth slightly and let the fire build up within himself, also letting the competing fire get closer to him. He let out a burst of fire against the stream, sending it surging toward ThighHighs.
She closed her eyes and flinched, almost choking on the fire coming from her mouth. The combined flamethrower hit her head on, but it didn't hurt her. She felt her body temperature spike as the water in her fur dried instantly. White hot fire blasted the stream back across the river, vaporizing a portion of the water and turned the sand clear. It hit the Typhlosion and sent him backward off his feet. ThighHighs snapped her jaws shut before the fire could reach the forest. She was left panting and staring across the boiling river, chunks of glass breaking off from the floor and carried downstream.
"Are y-you okay!" She made a move to jump across the river, but found the rock had been melted by the fire. "Pantsu-"
"Don't... call me that..." He groaned and sat up with a and over his chest. Luckily his fireproof fur and only been slightly burned away. "I'm... alive. And I guess that you win. Aha ha... ha ha ha." He fell back and started laughing to himself.
"What is s-so funny!" She shouted, pacing back and forth until the riving stopped boiling. She yelped in surprise as the harness fell off her, the straps had been melted off by her special ability.
"I can't believe... you attacked me. Really are improving." He said to himself, staring up at the sky.
The river finally stopped boiling but was still left steaming. ThighHighs sat once she felt her temperature return to normal. "What!? Are you sure you're okay!"
"I said... I hope there aren't any water Pokemon in this river."
She glared across the river at him, which finally turned back to normal, besides a few large pieces of molten sand below the water. "You're not allowed to train with me anymore."

You stay in the house(?) all day! You should try hiking some more often, or else you'll get a belly! Not that there is anything wrong with it, of course..
“I...I s-stay in shape!” ThighHighs ears lowered, she tried her best to wrap her tails around her midsection to hide it. “... Try t-to stay in shape. I do run laps around t-the track next to the Pokéathlon most evenings and...”She struggled with her thoughts for a moment, but figured she wouldn’t talk about those exercises yet. “... s-some other things. And j-just so you know I’m still in... a-about the same shape I was when I was battling the Champion! So you don’t need to b-be so.... rude...”

Just wanted to say that you inspired me to make a similar Nuzlocke rules story. Obviously I don't want to copy you and I doubt I will by accident. So thanks for the inspiration!
(( I’m glad that I inspired you! I’m not worried about being copied, I’m sure I ain’t the first person to make a story like this XD. The character’s backstories are based somewhat loosely on a soulsilver nuzlocke I did, so if you do the same thing make sure to take a lot of notes while you play! I sure wish I took more than I did haha ha…))

Jun@ThighHighs: What do you think of humans? I've met some after falling through dimensional rifts. They don't seem too bad, but I've never been to a world where they capture us pokemon and force us to fight. Also... this might sound strange, but have you ever worn thigh high socks? I think you'd look rather fetching in them.
“Humans are... d-different. They don’t force us to fight... well I g-guess some of them do... b-but they... hmm ” ThighHighs seemed to struggle with a way to explain. “As a whole humans are okay, I think. I have met plenty of trainers that treat their Pokemon w-with respect, like they were family. But a few are much less...  pleasant. Humans, sometimes even a big group of humans, use Pokemon for their own gain. One of those groups even tried taking over Goldenrod a few years go, now a lot of buildings here don’t allow Pokemon inside without being in Poke Balls.” She gave Jun a faint smile. “But I don’t l-let a few bad humans ruin how I think about them, my trainer and his family are great! I don’t know what I would do without him.”
ThighHighs then started giggling. “As for the s-socks thing, y-yes actually. It’s a kind of funny story. Richard’s sister visits and brings her children sometimes, they thought it would be funny to put them on me. I hadn’t w-worn clothes before that point so I was curious enough to let them do it. The socks were...” She tone suddenly turned embarrassed. “Lovely I t-think... for the first ones I have w-worn, eheh. They were black with s-solid red and white diamond shapes, with white diamond outlines connecting them, running down the sides of the socks. They were a bit too big for me though, c-considering they were probably made for humans, but they kids must have thought of t-that. Once the socks were on my back legs, they tied the tops of the socks with little white ribbons so they stayed on.”
“It was a really weird feeling walking around with them on. I didn’t really like it, but I didn’t wear them for long. Richard saw me after a few minutes and d-didn’t really... a-approve of the children’s action. They are n-not allowed to be left alone with m-me anymore.”

It was a clear day on Route 36, the sound of many bird Pokemon filled the air. In the woods, far away from the road trainers traveled on, ThighHighs and Tights lay under the shade of a few trees. The two Pokemon had been there for quite sometime, yet they had not said anything to one another. They were enjoying the peace together. But something was nagging at ThighHighs, as much as she didn't want to ask the question...
She rolled off her side and into a sitting position. "S-so... how did the battles go the other night?"
"Hmmm, why do you ask?" Tights leaned off the tree's trunk. "Everything went about as well as it always does."
"Yeah... but what kind of battles are they?"
"... Pokemon battles?" Tights gave her a confused look. "I'm not sure what you mean."
"Well..." ThighHighs hesitated, but decided to push. "There were these human that met Richard and gave him a weird Poke Ball and asked why I wasn't 'registered'. Do you... know something about that?"
"Oh, that." Tights looked away from her. "So you met them huh. They sort of run a special rules kind of battle is all. You know like a double battle? Its something like that, and it has a league of it's own so he needed to have us signed up." The ghost turned back and smiled. "So like I said, just Pokemon battles dear."
"But-" ThighHighs was going to object but Tights cut her off.
"Anyway, don't you know what today is?" Tights floated closer, ThighHighs could have sworn she saw a tinkle in the other's eye.
"It's... Sunday?"
Tights groaned and flopped her head backward, "No you silly fox, it's Valentines Day!"
ThighHigh's blinked. "I haven't heard of that Pokemon before."
"It's a human holiday, not a Pokemon. Humans give each other gifts and be romantic and stuff! Doesn't that sound fun?"
"You weren't watching one of those weird human shows again were you?"
"They aren't weird..." Tights pouted, "and they have some interesting stuff on sometimes. Did you know that there is apparently a kind of Ninetales and Mew that can grant wishes?"
"Wow..." ThighHighs looked up to the sky though the trees. "That sounds amazing..."She turned back to face Tights. "But doesn't Jirachi already do that?"
"Don't ruin the mystique with logic. But back to Valentines Day." Tights got so close that she was pressed side to side with ThighHighs. "Is there some one you have feelings for~? That you want to be romantic with~?"
ThighHighs could feel her fur stand on end and her face heat up. "W-w-what?! I... I...  n-no!" She attempted to move away, but Tights pulled her back.
"Come on, it's just between us girls. You wouldn't have reacted like this if there wasn't someone~."
"That is because I haven't ever thought about it!" A few tails moved up to cover ThighHighs' face. "With all our training, battles, and travels I was a bit focused on other things. I never thought a-about... it's embarrassing!"
Tights giggled mischievously. "Really, all this time and there is no one? Then think about it and tell me what you would look for in a Pokemon." She wrapped her tendril across ThighHighs' back and around her chest, just in case she tried to wiggle away again.
ThighHighs whimpered and tried to bury her face deeper into her tails. "This is embarrassinggg. Why d-do you want to know anyway?"
"Lets just say I'm... curious~." The way Tights whispered that last word made ThighHighs feel even more uncomfortable.
"I really don't know! I only had... urges and s-stuff during... b-b-breeding s-seasons..."
"Ooooooooh~?"
"But I always had training to keep my mind off it!" She added. "And lately... I j-just don't feel like..." ThighHighs shook her head. "I don't want to talk about this."
Tights sighed in disappointment, but nodded. "I understand, dear. But who knows, maybe a relationship is just what you need?"
ThighHighs huffed her tails away from her face. "Maybe but... not right now. There are still some things I think I s-should work on."
"Like thinking about your ideal mate~?"
"Tiiiights!"

“Two eighty-six… two eighty-seven… two eighty-eight…”  Richard counted to himself as he brushed the fur on ThighHighs’ back. She sat next to him on the couch, while she normal enjoyed her grooming time her focus was on something else. The Repeat Ball on the small table in front of her. “And three hundred! Ho ‘kay girl, I got to get going!” He stood up, grabbed the ball and left the brush on table. “You have the place to yourself the rest of the night-”
“W-wait.” ThighHighs yipped.
“Hmm?” Richard turned around. “Something wrong?” ThighHighs glanced at the Repeat Ball in his hand. “Ah… like I said I would explain it… later.” He walked back and patted her on the head. “I don’t want you to have another one of your episodes. Uh… sorry, you know what I mean.” As he walked toward the door and switched off the light, ThighHighs wished she could communicate with him better. “Lock up after I leave okay?”
The door closed and he was gone. She flopped onto her side and sighed. “It isn’t fair.” She looked over at the locks on the door, her eyes turned to a shimmering golden colour and all the locks snapped into place at once. “Maybe it isn’t that big of a deal, but why can’t he say that? What does he have to explain to me?” ThighHighs closed her eyes and tried to collect her thoughts. She knew the two human males were the same ones that usually come to the door before Richard went out to Pokemon battles. She realized that she was always in the other room or out of their sight, as her trainer never full opened the door to them or let them in from the hall. “He is… hiding me from them?” She thought to herself. It did explain why he tried to pretend not own her.
“But why?” She went back into her thoughts. Richard seemed intimidated by the other two humans. They didn’t look all that special and she didn’t have any memory of meeting them when she and the team traveled around Johto. But they had all her teammates 'registered’ for something and she wasn’t on it. ThighHighs hummed in annoyance, mostly aimed at herself. “They are just battles and he doesn’t want me in them because…” Her thoughts drifted again.
A Furret, her body bent at a sickening angle on a Gym’s floor, glossy eyes fixed on the ceiling. A large purple stain on a cave’s wall where a Gengar had been crushed between it an a Steelix. A Nidoqueen’s body pounded into the arena’s ground, her torso caved in; blood still trickling from her gaping mouth. The horrible screeching of a Pidgeot as its flaming body fell out of the sky and collided with the sea. The top half of a Raticate embedded into the trunk of a thick tree, its tail and feet still twitched. An unrecognizable mass of smoldering purple and blue flesh that was once a Tentacruel. Her friends…
ThighHighs didn’t realized she had started to sob and tremble. The sounds, the images, even the smells were still so fresh to her no matter how long she kept them buried away. She gritted her teeth and tried to stifle her whimpers, completely forgotten were her thoughts before. Something outside the window behind her had brought her attention back to reality, but she was far from interested in it now. With some concentration she managed to use Calm Mind and her past faded from her again.
“It isn’t fair.” She thought again as her eyes closed.
Earlier…
Outside the building waited three Pokemon, a tall Dragonite; both of it’s antennae completely gone along with the small horn usually between them. The end half of it’s tail looked to have much lighter and newer looking scales compared to the other half. This also appeared over various spots in it’s orange scales as small cuts, the scales around it’s forearms looked to be the most heavily scared. Fewer scares appeared on it’s cream-colored underbelly, though they were pink in colour.
A Typhlosion stood a few feet across from the dragon, much shorter by comparison to the other Pokemon. It’s oddly fluffy fur seemed to cover whatever scars it may have. The only visible one seemed to be on the left side of it’s muzzle, where it’s top and bottom lip were split in four places as if cut by four claws. Faint jagged black markings also appeared in places on it’s fur, a similar look to a certain canine-like Pokemon.
Between the two floated Tights, the Mismagius that ThighHighs considered to be her best friend. A large scar fan from the middle of her neck, over her permanently closed left eye and ended at a missing chunk in the brim of her ‘hat’. Her right tendril appeared to have been torn in half. Only a small part of the right gem that sat on her chest remained, with the center one cracked slightly.
Tights and the Dragonite both had their gazes fixed on the Typhlosion as if they knew at some point it was going to speak.
“She is faking it.” The Typhlosion stated, their arms crossed . “You guys know that right.”
Tights rolled her one good eye. “Come on 'Sue, not this again.”
“So what if she is?” The Dragonite shrugged. “It doesn’t bother me.”
“I think he is angry because she spends more time with me than she does with him.” Tights whispered to the Dragonite and both of them snickered.
“Seriously you two!” He growled at the other two Pokemon. “We go out there and risk out lives, she sits up there and mopes around. Doesn’t that frustrate you? Bloom, you were talking about how much you hated that 'Highs gets pampered and you just get a pat on the back! And Tights, you were complaining about how she is impossible to be around sometimes.”
Bloom sighed, “Got over it, no point in staying angry.”
Tights waved dismissively. “I don’t fight that often, plus I like her company. You’re impossible to be around at times as well 'Sue.”
“What would we do anyway, drag her with us and throw her into a fight?” Bloom glared at Sue. “Think that would help her?”
“It might help.” Sue growled back.
“She would just roll over and take the beating.” Tights giggled quietly.
Bloom glanced at the ghost. “Did you say something?”
“Hmm? No. Anyway, yes 'Highs can be insufferable but she is trying to get better.” Tights looked between Bloom and Sue. “And you two should be helping her in-”
“And you’re helping her?” Sue cut her off. “Should I tell her about your little secret? I’m sure if it wasn’t for you she would be fine.”
Bloom blinked in confusion. “What are you talking about? What is he talking about?”
“Honestly I don’t know.” Tights tilted her head in Sue’s direction. “Like I said, he must just be jealous.”
“Her claiming to have nightmares, being scared all the time. Mismagius feed of fear.” Sue gestured to Tights and looked at Bloom. “You see where I’m going with this right?”
“That is ridiculous.” Bloom shook his head. “Is it really so hard for you to believe 'Highs just needs time that you’re making things up?”
“She has had time! It has been two years! She needs to get the hell over it already!”
“We all go our own pace.” Tights glared at the Typhlosion.
“She is going too damn slow if you ask me.” He shot back.
“Good thing no one asked you then.”
The sound of a door shutting caused the three Pokemon to noticed their Trainer walking out from the apartment complex. “What’re you three being so loud about? More disagreements?” He walked over and ruffled the fur on Sue’s head. “Gonna have to stow you all away for a bit.” He pulled two Poke balls and a Love ball out of his pocket, returned the three and removed the Repeat ball from his other pocket. “Alright, come on out.”
He tossed the ball onto the ground and it popped open; with a small flash of light an Abra appeared in front of him.
“Yeah, didn’t know why I expected differently.” He sighed as he caught the ball once it bounced back to him. “Alright little guy lets get it over with, Teleport.” The Abra started glowing in many bright colours and with another flash, both of them were gone.

(Toasty@ThighHighs): "Sad to see such a lovely gal all scarred up. Seems like you've been in a lot of scraps. Do you at least see a doctor whenever you get injured?"
“Y-yeah...” ThighHighs sighed deeply, “Always with the scars.” she thought.
“I have spent my f-fair share of time in Pokemon Centers yes. The nurse’s and care Pokemon are r-really nice. Sometimes I had to stay a couple of days at a time. The longest I think was... e-eleven days? That was after challenging the Elite Four and the Champion.” She forced a giggle and straightened her posture, attempting to appear confident. “They were hard fought battles, f-for everyone on my team. Going up against five expert trainers is h-hard enough, but doing so consecutively without proper care between fights was... I thought impossible. Our trainer brought plenty of healing i-items but,” her tails fluffed up slightly as she recalled a memory, “Potions can’t heal everything. Even s-some injuries are too deep for Centers to treat and leave scars...”
“But I’m still a-alive! The scars don’t bother me much. I have been to a Pokemon Center for quite some time n-now, nice as they are I never really liked visiting them.”

Gabriel@ThighHighs: Ah, what beautiful fur... Do you mind if I ask what you think of your trainer...? Does he treat you well..? All those scars...
“He is a g-great trainer!” ThighHighs smiled, covering the scars on her chest with her tails. “They aren’t from him if t-that is what you think, just took a f-few h-hard hits.”
“He treats me as well as a-any other trainer treats their Pokemon... maybe better than s-some.” She looked off to the side, deep in thought. “... I didn’t think so at first. Training was hard at first and I h-hated him for it. But the results w-were... well I never felt b-better in my life after the first time I b-battled”.
“He did his very best for me... us, all of his Pokemon. But Pokemon battles didn’t a-always go our way.” Her smile faltered and she sighed. “It isn’t his fault, I s-should have been stronger.” She hugged herself with her tails. “If it wasn’t for him I p-probably wouldn’t... b-be...”
She shook herself out of it and pushed the thought away. “A-ah... sorry I was being s-silly again. Anyway heh, I wouldn’t choose anyone else to be my trainer.”

does your trainer have a drinking problem or something?
“A drinking... p-problem...?” ThighHighs looked thoughtfully at her trainer, passed out on the couch with a half empty bottle on the table next to him. “N-no I think he can drink just fine, he might do it a bit too much. H-he uh... only started this a-after... hmm.” Now she looked over at the door, her expression turning troubled. “Those two m-men started showing up and he started going out a-at night to do battles. I never thought t-that maybe... Ahahaha~.” She shook her head and forced a smile. “Don’t mind m-me, just being w-worried about nothing.”
“Like always.”

“ThighHighs!” She heard Richard calling her name. “Come on, we are going out for a walk!” The Ninetales rolled off the bed and walked into the livingroom, whining at her trainer. “Don’t give me that, you haven’t gone out in a while and you’re not going to get any less shy from staying in doors all day. Now come on.” He unlocked the few locks on the front door and gestured her out. ThighHighs shook her head and pouted at him. “Come oooon.” He said again, pointing down the hall. She sighed, stepped over the empty bottles next to the table and trudged out the door. Richard closed the door behind them and walked with her down the steps to the ground floor. “We just need to get a little fresh air for a while, it won’t be too bad.”
ThighHighs yawned, it had been a little over an hour since her trainer had brought her along for a ‘walk’ and fifty minutes since they stopped in front of a café. It wasn’t as if she minded, laying under a table with Richard seated at another nearby, but he had not even ordered anything; as if they were just there to listen to the wooden chimes that hung above them. But to her it was better than having to walk around and interact with other people or Pokémon, no one had bothered them even though the inside of the café busy. She heard footsteps approach them and was surprised to hear a chair pulled up to the same table her trainer sat. She hesitated to look at the new arrivals, two male humans that looked... plain.
“Plenty of other tables around.” Richard commented without looking at the pair. Instead, he chose to look into the café and watched the staff hard at work.
“You’re hard to find, know that?” One of the men asked, ThighHighs recognized his voice. He had visited them many times at their home, but Richard never let them past the front door. She noticed both of them had similar dress and hair cut; black pants with plain grey shirts and short cut brown hair. The difference was their body types, one was much bulkier than the other.
“Not hard enough.” Richard muttered while he watched the inside of the café. He sounded worried for a reason ThighHighs didn't know, not that the two humans could detect it like a Pokémon could. “So, anything I can get you two? Drink, food, sense of humor?”
“Well I’m pretty h-” The thin human started.
“Shut it!” The bulky human snapped at the other. “Look wiseass, you’re scheduled for tomorrow and no one has been able to contact you. Not interested in making money anymore?”
“Been a bit busy, if you needed to talk to me you shoulda called your sister.”
The thinner human giggled as the bulky one hissed through his teeth and slapped something onto the table. “Blackthorn entrance. Tomorrow night. Bring your Dragonite.” With that the human abruptly stood up, nearly knocked the chair over, and stormed past Richard with the thinner human following.
But they stopped right next to the table ThighHighs was under, her heart almost felt like it was going to stop and beat out of her chest at the same time. The way Richard held his breath didn’t help her at all.
“Is this yours?” The bulky human asked.
“That girl sure can handle a stack of plates.”
“The. Pokémon.”
“Hmm?” Richard turned his head at glanced down at ThighHighs, shrugged. “Never seen ‘em before, must belong to someone in there. Don’t let Pokémon in the café.” He pointed to a sign of a Pokeball crossed out next to the open door. ThighHighs ears twitched, why was he lying?
“Check his records.” The bulky human said to the thin one, who took out some kind of black square and tapped on the face of it a few times. “What does he have registered.”
“Wheres the trust Mark?” Richard asked with feigned hurt in his voice.
“Typhlosion, male; Mismagius, female; Dragonite, male; Victreebel, female; Gyarados, male... deceased.” The thin human read. ThighHighs felt like something stabbed her in the chest at the mention of the last one. “No Ninetales.”
“I told you, it isn’t mine.” Richard once again shrugged.
“Fine, I’ll drop it.” Mark walked back to Richard and leaned over him. “But you know the price of not registering a Pokémon, especially a shiny Pokémon with how much money they can bring in. If I find out you’re lying to us-”
“Mind backing it up, just because I like having your sister on top of me doesn't mean it extends to you.” Richard lightly pushed Mark back. Mark retaliated by slapping his arm away and storming off, stepping on one of ThighHighs tails that were sticking out from under the table as he left.
With a loud pained yelp, ThighHighs hopped to her feet and knocked the table over as she scurried under several more tables; away from the two humans as they walked off. She whimpered pitifully while shaking, confused by the situation. Why was her trainer pretending that she wasn't his Pokémon, was he trying to tell her something? That she wasn’t good enough anymore? Was this a punishment? Her mind raced with increasingly bad thoughts for the next minute before she felt a hand on the top of her head.
"You’re okay girl, come here so I can get a look at it.” Richard coaxed her out from the table and gingerly inspected the tail with a boot print on it. “Doesn't feel broken, must have just surprised you huh?” ThighHighs whimpered, looked off in the direction the two humans left, the back at him with a quizzical tilt of her head. “Them? It’s complicated. Just... If they come back make sure they don’t see you. Now lets go, I need a drink.” He brushed the dirt off her tail’s fur and picked the object off the table, which ThighHighs now got a good look at.
It was a Repeat Ball.

Why did you claim this name and not even use it?
(( Life happens, things change, but I haven’t abandoned this if that is what you mean. Actually I have been planning out the plot for quite a while now and come next week I will be regularly updating and sending asks out again. Until then I’ll be updating the blog’s page a little more and maybe adding a page or two! ))

Incoming call: restricted number
“Damn it I was tryin to sleep, what the hell is it now?”
...
“No. No no. I’m not scheduled to battle tonight.”
...
“Then what the hell is the point of a damn schedule if we ain’t going to follow it?”
...
“How’s that my problem? I’m not puttin my Pokemon on the line two nights in a row. Don’t care how much you pay me.”
...!
“Yell all ya damn want I’m gettin our two days off like everyone else. Ya got a problem with it you can come here and talk to me face to face.”
Richard thumbed the end call button. Something on the T.V. caught his eye.
“Breaking news: The body of a Drapion has been found on Route 42 near Mahogany Town. While it appears to not be owned by a trainer, it’f wounds suggest it was in some kind of battle. As its species is not native to this region...”
“How’s that my problem...” Richard muttered again.
