OOC, unrelated to Homestar

I just wanted to remark that the way Tumblr has responded to JonTron calling the PS4 "retarded" makes me ashamed to frequent this site, and makes me wish that the "ask a character" type of blog was prevalent on some other site so I could migrate over. Seriously, this is embarrassing. People being offended for other people is one of my least favorite things in the world. This is coming from a person whose brother is autistic. 

Do you people get offended when somebody gets called "dumb?" Gotta think about all those poor people that don't have the ability to speak. How about "moron?" All those people with the IQ of a 7-12 year old. When your friend can't see something obvious and you call them "blind," you're not trying to offend legally blind people.

Words evolve. "Retarded" is only as offensive as you perceive it to be. Almost all mentally handicapped groups discourage the use of the word "retarded" now. They use "intellectually challenged" now. 

TL;DR- Calling something retarded isn't nearly as offensive as you seem to think. You're not a better person for being offended for other people. Stop being retarded.

When I have a choice, I tend to spend my spare time playing “Let’s Not Be Around My Brothers” with the Cheat. However, being that I don’t like anybody in town, Strong Mad is probably the least of a town of evils. Sometimes we make stop motion videos with that toy dinosaur Poodonkis that Strong Mad keeps in his closet. The last one was about Poodonkis eating dinner with his family: a group of half melted toy soldiers. And his dinner… was a group of half melted toy soldiers. Strong Mad has a messed up mind.

Sometimes Strong Mad plays catch with a wall. And by that I don’t mean bouncing a ball against the wall and catching it. I mean throwing the brick wall onto a trampoline and catching it. We figure it’s not vandalism if he puts it back in the same general area. Who even cares about that brick wall besides Senor Cardgage?

But most of all, we play my favorite game: go get a burrito from Bubs’ and leave without paying. I’mma go do that now.

I can’t personally help you get less crappy internet, either because you don’t live anywhere near Strong Badia or, if you do, I don’t care enough. However, if you want internet that isn’t a licensed form of Chinese water torture, you can always do what I do: illegally siphon internet from Homestar’s house using a tube.

Oh yeah, believe me, I've heard all about it. I'm really excited. It's gotten a huge amount of coverage, too. Off the top of my head, I wanna say Famitsu, Kotaku and Time have all written articles about it. If there's anybody that deserves all this publicity, it's the Brothers Chap. They've never had as much recognition as they deserve, so this is a good sign.

Like I said, this was supposed to be released on Christmas Day 2013, but we didn't meet that deadline for several reasons. Instead, you get Decemberween in July! I'm very proud of this toon despite its... untimely release. Please post any and all feedback and/or hate mail in the comments!

So how are you all doing today? Sure is a great day to not be gone for some 800 years. I sure haven't been not updating this blog for like a half a year. Nope. So, uh, how about that... Harlem shake OKAY so I've been gone for a while. But I do have an explanation at the very least. I said that regular updates would return upon the release of the Homestar Runner fan toon that I wrote: Ghost of Decemberweens Past. It was supposed to be released on Christmas Day 2013, but due to technical difficulties we weren't able to meet that deadline. So now you guys get Decemberween in July, which I will be posting about momentarily!

As a side note to my most recent post... INEVITABLE HOLY CRAP FOR REACHING 100 FOLLOWERS! I totally deserved this for all of the quality (read: not quality and also nonexistent) content that I've put out in the past 3-5 weeks.
